Selene
Selene blinked up at Miron before laying her head on his chest. She struggled to remember what she had read, still filled with emotions that seemed to be hers, but she knew were not. It was not an unpleasant feeling, and she treasured it, somehow knowing that the emotions were his, were Miron's emotions. She smiled and hummed happily for a few seconds, and then it clicked in her brain.
"Yes, I have heard of it," she whispered, her eyes halfway open as she gazed outside into the moonlit meadow beyond the in. Looking up at Miron, her indigo eyes shimmered in the moonlight, once again appearing as precious jewels, her pale skin lit by the moonlight and firelight both, creating an ethereal effect. She smiled, the jewels of her eyes smiling too. "It is what we have just started to create, isn't it?" She couldn't help leaning in to kiss him softly before continuing on. "And to make the bond complete, one must spend the night sleeping with the one they are beginning to bond with." She blushed now, but was still smiling. "Though I still do not understand why. Will you explain it to me, please?" she asked shyly, forcing back a yawn again.

Dress it up with the trappings of loveMiron slowly smiled, and said "It's not so much the sleeping part... You can make the bond without sleeping together... but... we'll be spending time together... The time spent is what matters, it gives the bond time to cement..." Smiling, he said "That's why people tended to sleep with a Dracofox they were bonding with early on... because it got the bond fully connected." Smiling, he stroked her cheek, kissing her back, passionately. He held her for a couple of seconds, and said "Normally... I don't sleep... but... I think that... for today... I just might be able to do so..." This was confirmed with a bit of a silent yawn, and he chuckled, and said "And just about now, I think, as well..." Smiling, he said "Normally... It'd take quite a while to make the bond, even if the pair are sleeping in the same bed... but... that is relative to the strength of the emotions... I think it might a day, two tops..." He said so plainly and logically... the statement was essentially the same as saying he loved her so much, the bond would be faster than normal. I'll be captivated, I'll hang from your lips
Instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above "Life is a waterfall, we're one in the river and one again after the falls..." Meiun sighed, and said "Neither, they started dieing out a long time ago... Before the undead... They can mate with other races, but... They were the faerie kingdom's biggest aid against a rival kingdom... but the rival kingdom found their weakness... Once they bond to someone, and that person dies, so do they... So they started assassinating known Dracofox bonds... Lovers, family members... best friends... dogs... The whole nine yards, anything to kill the Dracofoxes. This faerie Kingdom managed to win... but at a major cost... They lost almost all the Dracofoxes living here, only a few families still remained... Miron may be the last living Dracofox in the world." Sighing, he leaned back, thinking for a minute, and said "And it's because of that Dracofox bond that I think Selene will be safe. I have a hunch about those two... but that's aside. Regardless... If I'm right... Miron will defend Selene with his life, literally. And she now comes with an extra use... so long as a Dracofox is bonded, and near their bonded, they become more powerful... I'm sure you now see what my suspicion about those two is... Because they've shown the signs in their subconscious... I'll know for a fact if I ever feel that they both are falling asleep in the same room, but for now it's just a suspicion.""...Life is a waterfall, you drink from the river then you turn around and put up your walls"

Riku Itsuki Amakura  All night staring at the ceiling
Counting the minutes I've been feeling this way
So far away and so alone (()) Did he read my mind? Riku was a bit shocked by that. Nether the less, he was quite interested to find out the answer to his question. Thus, Riku didn't point it out. Now the dog part of the Dragonfox bonds was a bit strange. At least, when it came to how he figured they bonded. But that made him wonder if they also bonded in other ways. It would make it less strange for them to be bonded, in that sense, to family members, friends, and dogs if there was other methods.
However, the lover part made sense. Also, the Miron and Selene theory made sense too. He had to admit they gained feelings for each other quite fast. Then again, Riku's parents were said to have fallen in love at first sight. But he wouldn't know if it was true or not. He lost contact with them at quite a young age. After all, Assassin's had to let go of all ties that could make them weak. That included family.
"I see. Now when you say it makes them both stronger...Does that mean we should expect Selene to start throwing fireballs?" Riku asked curiously, trying to add a bit of humor to the conversation. I bet I failed at that. There's no way I'm giving up this time
Yeah, you know I'm right here

Selene
Selene couldn't help but yawn then, and she blushed brightly.
"I'm sleepy too..." she whispered, then nuzzled closer to Miron. She already seemed to be nodding off, but she struggled to stay awake, not wanting to fall asleep just yet. But it wasn't working, and she slowly fell asleep in his arms, sitting there in the floor. "I love you..." she murmured as sleep finally overtook her. A small smile was on her face as she slumbbered peacefully in his arms.

Sheridan  Sheridan smiled slightly as she slowly woke, she was warm and safe, she was happy. She turned over and smiled as she placed a soft kiss to Athrius' lips as she wrapped her arms around his waits and cuddled close to him. "H-How long have I been asleep A-Athrius? Have you heard anything about my father?"

  MinaMina walked the halls, her energy flowing to those in the group. She felt the bond that was being formed between Selene and Miron, she was happy for Selene. She closed her eyes for a second and lost her footing but quickly before anyone could notice gathered herself and continued walking the hall. She paused by the door that lead into the room where Selene and Miron were and placed her hand lightly on the door and sent a larger wave of energy to the two inside. She knew they would need all the energy and strength they could muster to complete the bond and keep each other safe. As she sent the energy to the two in the room she sent a strong sense of love to Selene on an invisible weave of magic. Slowly Mina turned away from the door and walked down the hall once more, passing the room that was supposed to be Riku's. As she passed the next room which housed Meiun she placed her hand lightly on the door and sent her energy to the two that were talking inside the room. She was sure they would both notice the sudden increase in the energy but she didn't care. She just wanted everyone to be ready for what was to come, she could feel a lingering sense of evil, as if the inn was being stalked by something evil. She knew there was going to be some trouble, and knew everyone needed to be ready for it. As she turned away from the door she took a deep breath and walked down the hall to the door that lead to her room. Just as she was about to turn and walk back to the end room her feet didn't comply with what she wanted them to do, and started to tumble backwards down the stairs. 'Nei, this can't be! I can't die now, I need to protect her! Help please, anyone!' Mina didn't scream out loud, she had long ago stopped asking for help aloud. It just caused more pain if she did so, so all she did was mentally call for help. She never expected anyone to hear her, no one had ever heard her mental calls for help, but somehow, without her knowledge her mental call was sent to someone in the inn with her. That someone was Meiun, she didn't know this, just expected her call to go unnoticed like always as she tried to grab for anything to stop her from falling down the stairs and getting seriously injured or killed.

Meiun smacked his head, and said aloud "Sorry... I can read your thoughts... but I put a sincere attempt at not doing so, it's in-courteous..." As the fireball joke was made, Meiun found himself laughing, and said "No! Not like that! Though it would be amusing... She makes him more powerful because he has someone to protect, a reason to fight... He makes her more powerful because she now has control over him... He will almost always answer to her beck and ca-" That's when he heard Mina's thought wave. Swiftly, he suddenly jolted out of the room, nearly breaking the door off it's hinges as he ran to the other end of the hall. There wasn't much time, he ran so fast it caused the rug to bunch up as his feet ran it across the floor, making a stead "SHFF"-ing noise with each step. Plowing over a table, he reached her before she went too far down the stairs... too far for him to be able to heal it. She hadn't hit her head yet, so she wasn't unconscious... He would have to fix that... Grasping her, her head having been just about to hit the stairs, he jumped, leaping to land at the base of the stairs, and turned her to face him. Reaching his hand to her face, he focused his energies... sleep... he had to make her sleep. When she did sleep, he slowly picked her up... At that rate, he would expect a fractured arm... broken ankle... He began to heal her as he made his way back to the room. He was limping... The landing having damaged his leg a little... He placed her on the bed, and continued healing her, saying "This is why I didn't want her to stay out there siphoning energy... We can't have our primary healer die on us... If we're going to let her siphon energy as she is... I'm going to have to take precautionary measures..." Slowly, he focused, creating a link, it would force the flow of energy she sent to him from him to her... and force some energy to her from him. Of course, he kept a reserve for himself. ((You know the drill... The way you're playing the character... I think it's still the only way Meiun could possibly react to the situation)) "...Life is a waterfall, you drink from the river then you turn around and put up your walls"  Never gonna save me

And now it's over cause I'm stepping out, again Athrius smiled, and shook his head, and said "Nothing of your father, yet... I heard him shouting earlier... I think it was at some guard or another... but... It's over now... How long you were asleep? A couple hours... two? Three? I don't know the exact... but you looked so peaceful..." Smiling, he slowly kissed her back, holding her close. Never gonna break me

SheridanSheridan rested her head on Athrius' shoulder at the news of her father yelling about something and closed her eyes. "I wish I could go to him. But I'm afraid he will reject me if I try. I really hurt him, and that might take a while to heal, that is one wound I sadly cannot heal for him." She looked up then, her eyes meeting his as she spoke, her voice trembling slightly as she did so. "What have I done Athrius? I have healed one person but have caused another to ache. I am so lost, I cannot stand to see you or my father harmed, yet I have caused both of you to be harmed." Sheridan hugged him close, her head resting where his neck met his shoulder and cried. She cuddled closer to him, her body feeling cold, almost as if ice had settled over her.

MinaMina flinched as the pain started to breach the small barrier she had created in her mind. The pain of all her injuries weakening her allowing Meiun to put her to sleep easier then he would have if she had not be overwhelmed with pain. Even in her sleep she flinched as her body began to heal, but soon her pain was gone, but she was still hurting, flinching with every down step Meiun made, as if she felt his pain as well. Soon she wasn't flinching and cringing, her body relaxed slowly as the full force of sleep overwhelmed her and she rested until morning.((Thats fine Draco, I was hoping for something a little different but that is totally fine, maybe have him yell at her a little, but I think either way he will end up yelling at her lol. *rubs at temples* I SEE it so in her near future lol))

I'm guessing it's for Mina, fits the story better.)) Meiun sighed, continuing to heal her wounds... Sighing, he shook his head, and said "Stupid girl should've known when to call it quits and sleep..." He continued to heal her, and said "Riku... i'm going to have to ask you to go on watch, I have to keep an eye on her for any injuries I might miss." Shaking his head, he continued to focus on healing her, looking at every inch of her body in a medical pursuit... But for decency, he only swiftly and briefly scanned over certain areas... and even then he had to struggle not to blush, and made sure to be as brief as medically possible for the examination of wounds. He kept her dress on her, of course... It would be easier to scan for wounds without it, but he wanted to let her retain as much decency as possible. She was covered in bumps and bruises... Nothing too major to be healed on the spot... One broken arm, better than he had expected... but... He had to make sure she would be okay, regardless. So far away and so alone (()*EDITED*) Riku was a bit shocked when he heard laughter. After being with his partner for so long, he thought he didn't have to ability to make people laugh anymore. However, it seemed that Riku still got it. That brought a small smile to his face. He listened to Meiun as he explained what would happen to the two of them. What he said made sense, though he felt sorry for Miron, considering a woman was going to have power over him. Riku had some bad experiences with that.
Then Meiun ran out the room and Riku tilted his head at that. What just happened? He walked out the door and heard some thrumping and crashing noises coming from below. Upon hearing them, his body had become rigid and his hand was prepared to extend the hidden blades. Riku walked slowly towards the stairway. However, Meiun soon came up with Mina in his arms, giving him an impression of what had just occured. He just shook his head and followed Meiun.
After entering the room, Meiun made the comment to him and he noded in agreement. "I can do that." Riku didn't feel the urges for sleep anyway. His mind was too restless and he had rested before he encountered the group. Thus, sleep was far from his mind. Soon after replying to Meiun, he exited the room and began first shift. There's no way I'm giving up this time

When he was convinced that he had covered everything, and healed every bit he could possibly heal, he slowly limped over to a chair, taking his seat, and sighed. He had used a lot of energy, but he stayed awake a while... watching to see if anything happened to her... And now it's over cause I'm stepping out, again Athrius slowly wrapped himself around her, acting as a source of comfort. Sighing, he said "Sheridan... I don't want to come between you and your father... But I also want to be a part of your life... I can see how you need someone to love..." Slowly, he sighed, and said "Sometimes, we can't help everyone... We have to do what we can to help the few that we can help. Your father... I am sure that, if he loves you at all, which he seems to, he will be simply happy that you are happy... it's something he would have had to come to terms with eventually..." He found himself connecting, strangely... You can't help everyone... Perhaps his brother had learned this the hard way himself? Perhaps he had wanted to help them... but had been forced to look out for himself... Slowly he sighed, feeling a tear roll down his face... He would have to confront his brother one day... and when he did... perhaps he would learn why he had never helped them... Perhaps he would learn why he had never been there... But he still wasn't quite convinced that his brother was a good person... He had to have more proof... But... It helped him slightly... Never gonna break me

Selene
Selene slowly woke the next morning, cuddling closer to the source of warmth beside her, not exactly wanting to give up the wonderful dream she had had the night before. Miron had said that he had loved her! She smiled softly to herself, wishing that the dream had been true, but when she opened her eyes and saw him laying beside her, she gasped, her face flushing. It had been true! Selene was overcome with happiness, and almost kissed him, but then stopped herself. He looked so peaceful sleeping. Slowly, she reached out and gently traced the lines of his face, his lips and eyes, his cheeks and chin, his soft fox ears. Her touch was feather-light and she sincerely hoped that she didn't wake him. She wanted to watch him sleep. She smiled and hummed a soft tune happily, snuggling closer to him, wishing for this moment to last forever.

  King Darian
Darian sat on his bed in his room, and sighed. He wondered how Sheridan was faring, and considered going to her room to apologize to her.
"Now I know how she feels," he murmured to himself, looking at his hand unsseingly. "I want to do the same for Sienna that Sheridan did for Arthurius." He sighed again, and then looked at the wall, not really seeing that either.
"I should apologize to them both, and then ask Sheridan for help." He winced and then shook his head. He didnt know how his daughter would take it if he asked her for love advice. Suddenly, the door opened and a shaking gaurd entered his room, having not found him in the throne room.
"My king... The female is not anywhere in the castle. We estimate that she has been missing for a few hours now..." the shaking gaurd said, wondering what wrath his king would pour upon him for this serious misdemeanor. Instead, as he hesitantly looked up at Darian, he saw, through his own confusion, that Darian seemed intensely and deeply hurt. Darian stood, and the gaurd quickly looked down again.
"Go out and search everywhere. Find her! And if you bring her back with so much as a scratch upon her..." Darian added threateningly. The gaurd nodded and bowed, hastily leaving the room to go carry out his king's orders.
