Christine nodded, listening through the same tiny opening. Since one of her senses was weakened, her hearing was strengthened and she could hear just a bit better than Lilura. Crouching over the girl, she listened closely to the tarot reading, it seemed like. Why would he want a reading...Something's got to be going on.She speculated. Altair Lovett  Altair Had returned to the campsite earlier then he had expected and was about to go to Asmodeous's tent when he saw Christine and Lilura evesdropping outside the tent. He quietly made his way over to them, but made sure they saw him coming and went and knelt next to them. He heard a bit of the reading and understood. He leaned close to them and whispered low enough so only they could hear them. "I can tell you more about whats going on if you want..." He whispered to them. My cold blade shall be the last thing you will feel.. Enjoy it while you still live.

"Pick one. There are more than a few men I've angered beyond reason," Asmodeus said with a little laugh. It was almost like a sport, one that the score-keeper had stopped keeping track of once Asmodeus had clearly won. He ran his fingers through his hair, thinking of all the people who would have a problem with him.

She shook her head. "No, it's not some random guy angry at you because you screwed his wife," she used the terms bluntly as if it was proper for a woman to speak such a way. "It was someone close to you, someone who trusted you." She watched the cards as she spoke, as if they were telling her all of this from one glance.

She couldn't help but frown a bit, knowing then that any signs of him flirting with her were for one purpose and one purpose alone. After that, he'd be done with her. She wondered if he knew that she had never truely felt a man's touch. Shaking her head from that thought, she looked back at the cards. "You should pay more attention to your actions. This says that not only you will suffer, but a group. Our circus." She stood, collecting her cards and settling them back into her bag. "He will come after a big storm that is to delay our patrons. For now, it's unknown what he plans." She turned to go, assuming she was no longer needed.

Asmodeus saw the change in Madlen's face. "Please don't judge my vices too harshly. You are what? Nineteen? Twenty? Not much older if you are. Immortality is a difficult thing to work with sometimes. Lilura lives in chastity. It is easy enough for her, particularly at the age she appears," He began to explain to her. "I can't live that way. Most of the women I have been with were regular ones, not from the circus at all. It's hard to maintain much of a relationship with someone like that. As for the women within the circus, well, not everything works out," he said. He felt bad for all the things he had done or once. Madlen was nice, and he did like her. He wished she did not know quite as much as he had said about his habits.

"So far we know Madlen had a disturbing vision and it's got something to do with someone who used to trust Assy," Lilura said in one of her quietest whispers. "Do you have anything to add to that?" she asked. She was still listening to the tent however. As Asmodeus mentioned her, she blushed deeply. She would have to speak with him at some point. "What did you learn about the guy?" she asked, curious about who Altair had killed. She did not condone it, but there was not much she could do to dissuade Assy from taking those kinds of requests, or from him sending out Altair to complete them. Caught in the spotlight
