Kadra sighed. "I really don't know what to do, if I married the man my dad wants then maybe I could have some rule and say about what goes on, but I can't count on that. I don't want to be queen, but I don't want more people to suffer for me." She folded her hands in her lap and slumped over slightly. She didn't want to deal with any of this. ~ ~ ~ ~
Paha sighed "Don't be given the guy a big head now monk." His focus was slipping when he heard Eversor's voice echo through his head. "Leave him to suffer. Come back safe."
Xeema glared at the man, "Yeah what ever. It's not like I was the one who went around killing the lions." She folded her arms.
Leonardo sat a huge awkward grin plastered across the lion face. He liked the man for putting the tigress in her place. ~ ~ ~ ~
Kurag stepped back and took off, one weapon had been too big to store in the weapons house, and was safe from the fires. The dragon killing spear. It was a massive weapon with a special launcher designed to hit them out of the sky. The tip, was forged of metal and dead dragon's teeth, to pierce their thick hides. He gave orders for it to be aimed at the dragon on the ground.
Telmina spotted the weapon, she didn't want another run in with it. She had almost lost her life the first time. But she couldn't let it be fired at Eversor, he didn't know. She only had a few seconds, but as Kurag dropped his hand to have it fired she made a dive to intercept it's path. The spear point sliced right through her side and went in at an angel to come out the top of her back to pierce one wing. She flew up with out thought, the weight attached to the spear ripped her from the sky and sent her crashing to the ground with a horrified screech. She landed with a thud, and laid unmoving.

Eversor Sunda'skular, Dragon of Black Fire
Eversor laughed as Kurag took off toward a large adjustable crossbow looking machine with a rather big spear on it. Eversor flexed his enormous muscles, preparing for the weapon to fire at him. His weight and scales would stop it cold, right? These thoughts were put aside when the spear fired and Telmina dove to block the enormous bolt that shot from the machine. The spear hit and pierced the dragoness's scales, ripping her from the air an onto the ground, much to Eversor's horror. When Telmina hit the ground and remained unmoving, an unbearable rage started to swell from within the black dragon. He reaered his head back and roared loudly before shifting his gaze to the machine that had brought Telmina to the ground. Before he could go to aid Telmina, he had to first destroy the machine... And Kurag. With small invisible mental tendrils, he located heated places on the machine. He used his abilities over his element to amplify the heat at an extreme pace, to the point where the machine seemed to explode to pieces for no reason at all. It was a technique Paha had taught him. Then the dragon started forward at menacingly slow walk, his eyes fixed on Kurag. "Kurag! I will make you suffer dearly! My fires' heat will burn you so badly that they'll dwarf even the flames of Hell!!"
Eversor hadn't recieved Paha's mental message. His rage had blocked any link to him any other thought other than Kurag. Liquid fire dripped from between the black dragon's bared teeth, hungery to burn up the fuel that was revenge it's caster would recieve from the suffering of the Murderer-Kurag. Oooh, he was PISSED!Nexus's smile disappeared. "And who are yo to assume that the holy peasants are more mighty than the power that ends the life that they bring?", he asked both the nameless man and Uru through an obviously peeved tone of voice.

"It's alright," Attorra sighed, "It's not your fault as long as you're hidden away like this. Besides, there's a rightful king. Eventually he'll take the throne," he paused for a moment, "if he feels like it."
---
"Sure." The nameless one really had not heard what Xeema said, but he did hear the cloaked one, "I don't have time to hear the nonsense of one of Karn's lapdogs, Nexus. Besides life ends without Karn, I've said it before, I'll say it again, he's no more than a babysitter. And Death is no better." He stood, pushing himself off of the wall and shrugging, "Sorry to lower your credentials so much."
"I hate to add fuel to the argument but the man is right. The holy mother and father have given everything to the people and the creatures of this land. Yes. Death and Karn may be essential, but one cannot argue that the holiest cannot be dethroned by Karn's ego, or yours."
Afsana laughed, "Damn, you got the monk to fight you. That's funny."
---
From outside of Kurag's palace, and at the outskirts of the town nearest by, a woman watched from the window of an inn the happenings around the palace. "There will be fire, there will be smoke but only vengeance will see Kurag choke. Nihl's son and son of Millin, a wise man's daughter and Kurag's kin. Blades of steel but more of hate, start a coup, seal Kurag's fate." She said the words rather lifelessly, like reciting an old story. Her gray eyes were locked on the scene though, even if she seemed to look past it. Her long blonde curls fell out of the messy bun they were kept in and she sighed a heavy sigh, "Your final prophecy will be fulfilled my love, and you will be avenged." She smiled, "Even if I have to see to it personally." She remained in her window however, watching, waiting.

Kadra sighed twisting a piece of her skirt in her hands. A nervous habit. "I guess." She didn't sound too sure. "But until then the people will continue to suffer." She sighed "Truthfully I was beginning to wonder if I should just turn myself in and give up." ~ ~ ~ ~
Paha rolled his eyes. "If you guys want to stand around and fight over who is better, be my guest. As for me I am going to bed." He turned on his heels and began walking back into the palace.
Leonardo stood, shook himself off, then went to follow after his lord. Only to pause and snarl at Xeema, then with a quick burst of speed was off and behind Paha.
Xeema hissed back, not impressed by his threat.
A headach made him hesitate at the door way. Some thing was wrong. He could feel some thing horribly wrong, focusing in on the feeling he felt Telmina, she was weak, an getting weaker. He focused in on Eversor and slammed into the mental wall of rage. Struggling he tried to pass into his mind. "Don't" he shouted at the dragon, "save Telmina, get her home before she dies, wast no time on the man!" He was trying to take command and cool the dragon's rage. ~ ~ ~ ~
Telmina felt hot, he body ached. Her eyes were open, but she could hardly see. Lifting her head a lance of pain made her screech again. Slowly she lifted herself from the ground, he legs wobbled, she tried to take flight, but one wing was pinned, and hurt. She was so confused, what had happened? Her legs buckled and she flopped lifelessly to the ground, her mental link reaching out to Eversor for help, she didn't want to die, let alone die with no one there to ease her passing. "help. Please don't let me die alone!"

Eversor Sunda'skular, Dragon of Black Fire
Eversor continued to creep closer to Kurag until both Telmina's and Paha's mental messages came to him. He gave Kurag a deathly growl, then bolted to Telmina's side. "I'm here, Telmina, just hold on.",. he said comfortingly to the dragoness before snapping off the end of the dragon-killing spear with his teeth and gripping the rest that was protruding from her to pull it out of her. The black dragon threw the large crossbow bolt aside, then layed on Telmina so his belly was against her back. He brought his arms and legs under hers so as to carry her, then beat his large and powerful wings to take to the air.Nexus only shook his head. "Ignorance is bliss, no?", he said plainly, more of a statement than a question. "I suppose you will realize Karn and Death's power soon enough.", he threatened lightly, putting his staff into the confines of his cloak. Nexus' face was void of any experession whilst he was getting somewhat bored of these people...

"You tell me." The man said with a shrug, "But if one fears death, they cannot live life to the fullest. Isn't that right?"
Uru nodded, "I must agree."
Afsana laughed, "And living life to the fullest means doing everything you're meant to do, no matter how challenging. Because what's a goal if you don't have to fight for it?"
"A steal," Patilla walked out of the front door laughing, "What's with the party out here?"
----
"It won't matter," Attorra said with a shrug, "After all your father won't be on the throne for another year. That's almost guaranteed."

"You think the people will really go agenst him so soon?" She asked not sure how just to feel about that. On one hand scared for him, he was still her father. On the other hand, relived she would be free of him. ~ ~ ~ ~
Xeema was the only one who seemed to notice Paha's absents. "Where did Paha slip off to?" She asked Uru, since she was closest to him.
Paha paced around in a small medical ward. The doctor watched him, he and his staff were ready for when the dragons arrived. They had no way of knowing how bad off she was going to be. But they would do all they could to save her. Though they could do nothing to help put Paha's anger at rest. ~ ~ ~ ~
Telmina hung limply from his arms, she could feel herself moving, but her lids felt to heavy to open. She felt the wind rushing past them. Her first instinct was to beat her wings, but it caused nothing but pain, in return bringing a groan from her lips. "What's going on, am I already dead?"

Eversor Sunda'skular, Dragon of Black Fire
Eversor beat his wings hard and fast, getting every ounce of haste he could muster. His muscles strained to race against time as he knew Telmina didn't have time to waste. "Just hang on, Telmina! We aren't far!", he reassured her, afraid to look down and find her already limp. He was somewhat glad to hear Telmina groan, a sign that she was still alive. They were now speeding over the stretch of water that seperated G'reth from Karmae, which was starting to appear in the distance quickly.Nexus looked to Uru and looked him over. "Tell me, monk. Have you ever killed?", he asked with a blank expression.

"Of course not." Uru was almost shocked that the man would ask something like that, "No."
"Why? Are we about to have a competition?" Patilla gave a famous wicked smile, "Because the Monk is a little woman, of course he hasn't. But he can't speak for the group now, can he?"
---
"Maybe. if not him, then Nihl and Millin's children." Attorra shrugged, "Assuming, of course, that they're still alive."

Kadra shivered. She didn't want to think of her dad ending up dead. "I only hope I wont be there to see it." The skirt edge of her skirt tightened in her grip yet again. ~ ~ ~ ~
Leonardo paced the palace walls, near the entrance made of larger creatures. Much like the dragons he waited on. He had liked Telmina, and was as worried as Paha over her. ~ ~ ~ ~
Telmina continued to drift in her mist filled world. She was at a lose. She was confused, and distantly aware of pain. She inhaled deeply trying to smell her surroundings. Again, pain. she coughed frosty air spilling from her lungs.

Eversor Sunda'skular, Dragon of Black Fire
Eversor heard Telmina's weak coughing and, just when you thought a dragon couldn't fly any faster, he kicked himself into a whole other gear. He climbed slightly, then dove down toward the island of Karmae. He locked his wings against his sides, pointed the length of his body straight as an arrow, and brough Telmina as close to him as possible. Soon enough, he came shooting down toward the palace. Eversor veered off to one side to go to the side of the palace to the nearest enterance to the medical ward. He flared his wings to their full size, slowing quickly and landing softly. He laid Telmina down apon touching the ground. The black dragon's wings drooped and dragged against the ground with obvious fatigue and exhaustion. My Lord, we're here., he mentally informed Paha, followed by a mental picture of their surroundings and where they were. Eversor was standing over Telmina, pressing his paws to her sides where her wounds were greatest to slow the bleeding. He tried his very best to keep his dignified composure and keep a level head on the situation..."Hmm, pathetic.", he said simply a the monk and looked to Patilla and smiled in reply. "A competition of kills? I'm afraid it would be difficult to top my kill count, boy.", he said before hearing a great WHOOSH over him as Eversor, carrying Telmina, shot passed the palace and landed out of sight around one side of the structure. This was followed by a light shower of cool blood that fell only a little bit on Nexus's cloak, who didn't seem to mind. He watched the two until they were out of sight. "You know them?", he asked the small group of people around him. "One of them is wounded."

Patilla shrugged, "s**t happens."
"I should see if they're alright I suppose," Uru turned to head inside and found a servant to direct him to the medical ward. He spotted Leo and gave him a confused look, "What's happened?"
---
Attorra shrugged, "I'm not sure if they'll kill him. He deserves death after killing all of their loved ones, but I'm not sure what kind of people they are now."

Leonardo stopped pacing like a caged beast, and moved out of the way of the medical team so they could rush outside. "Telmina is severely injured. They are worried she will die." He said as calmly he could. "If you want to come, I am going out to see her and lend a hand. It's not easy treating a dragon's wounds." With that Leonardo began his walk out to the spot the dragons had landed. ~ ~ ~ ~
The medical team rushed out, the doctor took charge ordering the others what to do. He moved up next to Eversor with out any fear, and gently removed the dragons clawed hand from the wound. "I need to see how bad off she is." He said knowing that Eversor was probably as upset as Paha was. Standing on tip toe he looked at the wounds. It went straight through, he could see the ground with the way she was laying. Stepping back he nodded to the team and they began to quickly construct a circle around the fallen dragoness. Each person knew their job some added old ruins wile others traced out animals no longer seen on the planet. Doctor Abarden closed his hands together a small flare of blue fire jumped from between his clasped hands and spread up to his arms, stopping at his elbows. Slowly he raised his hands to the air and spread them wide. "Sanctus matris. Matris of totus vita , matris of pietas! Commodo audite meus placitum iuvo mihi servo is dragoness ex mortifer vulnus is has sino! Commodo mihi vestri vox , tribuo mihi vires , servo nos utriusque. Vestri creations." He called loudly to the sky, before slamming his hands down on the circle drawn on the ground. The power leaked from his hands and followed the lines of the circle. Once closed the glowing fires lept up onto Telmina's still body. Her body pulsed and moved with out her moving it, a low scream built up in her throat and leaked out into the night air. Finally the fires died and Telmina laid panting on the ground. The wound was mostly closed, scabbed and no longer bleeding. Slowly she got to her feet and sat down on her haunches. She was tired, a little dazed and sore. She remembered the spear and looked over to Eversor, she bowed her head in thanks.
Abarden smiled "Ok team lets wrap up the rest of her, we're gonna need to put a splint on the wing, so some one get on that." He sat down a little tired himself. Like most healing magic it was a double edged sword, you could wield it, make it do what you wanted. But you also had to deal with the back lash, and such a large being like Telmina had all but drained him of energy. If he ate, and took it easy he would be fine in a couple of hours. So he would let his crew take care of her from here. He glanced down at his hands and arms, his shirt's sleeves had burned off, his skin was a angry red. He poked an arm lightly, and it hurt just like he knew it would. Yeah he was done for the day. ~ ~ ~ ~
"Maybe I should go back." Kadra said with a sigh. "That would get him off the thrown, then he wouldn't be so easily found. He is my father, I still love him. I know I really shouldn't thou." ~ ~ ~ ~
Naida stirred awake. Some one was calling on her. She could feel it. Her shields came crashing down with the call. s**t, s**t, and double s**t. She could sense HIM, she could tell he was close by. That meant if she could sense him, he could sense her. She panicked and slammed down her mental shields. It happened so quick she knew he wouldn't be able to track them from it, but he would know they were close. Some times she hated being on this plane, the peoples' calles were so much stronger, and hard to ignore if the person calling was strong of gift, and who ever had just called her was strong with their abilities.

Eversor Sunda'skular, Dragon of Black Fire
Eversor stepped back to allow space to the healers. He sat on his haunches and twitched his tail nervously as they worked to bring Telmina back to health. When they had finished their healing ritual, Eversor's head perked up as Telmina rose to her feet. He was washed over with relief to see that the dragoness was alright and nodded in reply when she did. "How are you feeling?", he asked, still bearing his dignified and honorific composure. Then it came to him that he had heard a small voice through the business of the healing and turned to see Uru. "Why don't ask the defiant of death herself?", he asked him, looking back to Telmina.Nexus only shrugged. Dragons. Pah. What's so special about them? They're never any fun with their honor and stupid morales. "s**t does happen.", he said rather plainly.

"I noticed that-" The man who had yet to be named stopped and his head shot up, "I'll be going." He vanished, without another word.
---
Patilla just nodded,"Yeah. So, what exactly happened with the dragons."
---
"She'll be alright, won't she?" Uru decided to walk alongside him, "Paha should have quite a team of healers."
