My class was not karate, exactly, but it was based around the same basic principles.

Well, the martial arts technique I just used on Duce is called Kirin Umbra, which involves bribing with beer and a rapid attack with an ancient weather protection implement.

Thank you. I do have many other unusual techniques, but it does not take years of training to figure out that you can distract a male college student with beer. mrgreen

You can distract them with a keg too, at least around here. The boys were throwing a keg down the stairs last night and trying to jump over it on its way down. hahaha!

Yeah, I know what you mean, Duce. I like hard liquor better myself. But either way, beer or liquor, I'm a relatively cheap date. Haha! It doesn't take me that much to get drunk. But I definitely do better when I have someone watching out for me...

Beer is definitely an acquired taste. It can be very refreshing, though, so if you are thirsty and looking for a nice little buzz, it can do both jobs pretty well. I once knew a guy who loved beer, said the first sip when you were dry always felt like "little fairies dancing on my tongue." OK ...

Excuse me. I forgot to mention. Abusing Duce is verboten. Kinjiru. forbidden, even. We will have to include that in the re-programming sessions. Also, just because I slip away for a day or two, does not mean you all can run amok. That is against the rules too. We need to put security cameras and roving hover-spies in the forums here I can see. In order to restore order. And protect the common people, who love us so much, from the evil hordes of dissidents, hippies, commies and vegetarians. There's probably some Mac users and other anti-establishment renegades out there as well.

FastFresnel Well, the martial arts technique I just used on Duce is called Kirin Umbra, which involves bribing with beer and a rapid attack with an ancient weather protection implement. Kirin Umbra -- An ancient art from Wimpiastan. Its most dangerous moves include the famed 'limp-wristed death strike' and the feared 'wet yourself and cry' defense. Also, the umbrellas are notoriously frail and flimsy. Like the kung fu of their wielders. Everyone knows Shou Lin beats the Southern styles. *nods sagely*

Actually, the Wet-Yourself-and-Cry defense is pretty effective.
If we didn't run amok, you wouldn't have a job. We're just trying to keep things interesting for you. mrgreen
