Lou noted that yet again, something was wrong after Mina stepped away, as Lou had to gently ask Mike,"Is there anything wrong with what you are recalling?It might help if you mention it, here," Lou had to suggest, as already she had to make plans once the letter arrives.

"Exactly as planned, now when the guys come in, i'll let my own cousin know what to expect, while the 'paler cousin' of ours tries to hold out until he can't take it any more with the guys going nuts on you, this plan will work!!!" Mina continues to giggle like a school-girl, about to please her mother on a major source of fun to watch, for all.

Already imagining a lot of guys and girls alike going nuts on Mina, alone, she then goes to wink at Joey for when the fun begins, as she then said,"I see my cousin is apparently far behind in racing, isn't he?When he finds out about this, i wonder if he'll be loading on the pie guns or saying something about facepalm when it comes to some kind of summoner encouraging me to encourage that idea," as Mina goes to await her cousin Cross's arrival, at last.



"Sorry i'm late, and Mina, don't tell me you're plotting some kind of mischief, yet again, as ever," as Cross was staring at his cousin in regards like this, as he then admits,"Sometimes i wish i wasn't so abusive on my meds, to be honest," as he then goes to say hello to the newcomers, as he then said,"You can call me Commander Cross, Miss Alvizu's my cousin but i am not to tell you my first name, if you have any questions, feel free to ask them until Rachel's letter arrives, Do i make myself clear?" as Cross was trying to recall the military speeches needed to explain himself, except the medical intoxications were fogging up his memories, as well, on the little things.




Cabin Head Leo Valdez Of the Hephaestus cabin goes to the Fireworks beach, intending on letting Lou and Mina know that the letter could be arriving at any moment, and the prototype armor being requested for the campers to use in the operations by Commander Cross was already nearly completed, as Leo then goes to ask,"Did i miss anything?" as the lad of Hispanic roots goes to look at everyone else, here, and when he noted that Commander Cross was here, he then said,"So i see you're a cousin to Mina, here, great to see you, what can i do for you?" as Leo goes to look at the Commander and noted the fact he seems irritated, for some reason or another, most likely because of something Mina might be planning to pass the time, but what it is, he doesn't know, yet.

"So how's camp coming out for you, so far?" as Leo goes to shake Joey's hand, while Mina notes that one of the previous cabin-heads after Charles told Leo about Joey's deeds in warfare, as it should be an honor to befriend someone like Joey regardless of whether or not Leo knew, as Leo was still working to orchestrate the projected battle armor, as Leo then goes to Erythia and then gently kiss Errie's left hand in a reasonable gesture, almost as if Leo meant to pull Mina's leg after Mina dared Leo to dress up like a cowboy for almost no real reason, whatsoever.




'Mina, i don't know what you are planning with a lot of the guys here, regarding Joey, but it doesn't sound like a good idea, believe me, gut hunch is telling me this is already awkward enough as it is, unless you are trying to reassure your mother that nothing bad is happening on boot campus,' as Cross recalled basic protocol to not raise hell upon your buddies in boot camp and all that jazz if it can be helped, which it can, while Mina was just wide-eyed on the fact that Leo just kissed Errie's left hand for next to no real reason other than to yank her leg after daring him to dress up as a Cowboy just so Mina could be sure he feels 'epicy,' or something like that.





'Leo, what in the name of mother are you doing?' as Mina was just too startled that this is happening before any guys went nuts over Joey, as Mina was hoping someone might save the idea of girls going nuts on Erythia for later on, when everyone's not preparing for a massive military operation back on the 1st 13 states, at the rate things are going.
"Come on, guys, appear already and go nuts on Joey so i can win this bet and kill many birds with just an Abalone stone, by now," as Mina was just anxious to hear of guys other than Leo running to Joey, except to go nuts all over Joey in the process.

"Other than the regards that the ladies-in-waiting to Beauty Queen Piper, meaning Mina and your newfound half-sister Errie, here, are talking about the past, i came here to let you know that the armor designs are almost ready, and the 1st prototypes will be sent when they are," Leo said, with the good news that Mina didn't recall many others hearing since Festus(Happy the Dragon, the same dragon who saved Charles' life from the giant Ants/Myrmekes, once!) has died in defense of all sentient life on this very planet.

"So tell me more about this apparent wagering i hear Beauty Princess Mina asked you to do, i'm ready to learn," as Leo then adds,"So far, we haven't found Percy yet, and also Nico's back from another few weeks of the search, he seems anxious regarding the news, then again, who isn't?" as Leo tries not to think upon all that was going on from Jason's home camp, itself, and the idea it existed.



"Sorry, Joey, its just that...i'm not only mad at myself for how physically unstable i was in that race, back there, but most of my rage is coming from the fact that my own late uncle, who was once another of my superior officers whom i answered to, would have hidden such secrets from me, as now i think Mina's hiding things from me, as well, even though her thought pulses are telling me she wasn't aware of it until now, either, when she met Jason sometime after he arrived," Cross admits that in some way or another, he really blames his late uncle Pedro Luis for hiding such secrets like that, as now he feels he has to take it out on his cousin Mina or else they will worsen and swell up inside his emotions, in which case nothing short of outright free-will-frakking on the part of Aphrodite herself can deal with this, in reason.

"My bad on that...i almost forgot that Mina might not have known about that matter, either, regarding Camp Radical," the Codename that Pedro Luis's will insisted that Jason's camp be called until its true name is finally known to everyone, was finally uttered out by Commander Cross, right at that moment.
"The reason why he urged that we call Jason's camp by its codename is to help ensure its overall secrecy, because its bad enough that its existence had to be exposed, best not to make it worse by revealing its true name, either, and also My un...i mean Officer Alvizu suggested this to the Highest rankings in the military aware of it, and the highest ranked in our group left a long will to Officer Siegfried about regards like these," as Cross had to point out what he recalled in regards to what was going on, without worsening the fact he didn't realize that Pedro Luis, the guy who was there to train Mina with her psychic powers from time to time, in addition to teaching him how to fight in life-or-death matters along with the deceased father of Diomedes Dienikes(a close friend to Mina's father's family!), was his uncle until it was finally too late to know him, properly.

"Also Joey, is it just me, or were you able to read my thoughts when i was talking with Mina with my own mind?" Cross had to ask, because unless Joey was more powerful than Cross gave her credit for, he only expected Lou Ellen to do this, and he definitely would not expect Erythia to know how to pull this off, either, as Cross forgot to get the mental defenses prepared, at the time.



"Haven't i already told you that if Officer Pedro Luis told me about the camp, i'd have been permitted to let you know about it as soon as i could, actually?" as Mina was already frowning on the idea, as they were neither getting anywhere near the arrival of Rachel Dare's letter nor were they going to see whether or not any guys from the crowd are going nuts on Joey's looks, yet, until Mina noticed someone was arriving,'Here they come,' Mina thought to herself, as she goes to giggle on the arrival of a guy, in 5...4...3..2..1, start!



Mina had a gut hunch that the 1st guy coming in was an Athenian Brain-baby, except for some reason or another beyond Mina's fathoming his brain got shut off when staring at Joey, which somewhat worries Mina as Cousin Athena would have a cow about the brain's shutdown, later on these days, if the lockdown on Olympus ever ends.
Still it isn't stopping the guy from coming to Joey, and then said,"Hi there, hot witch, mind going with me to check out the cabins and stuff?" as Mina already knows that the guy is trying to hit on Joey, very hard, except she senses a presence of something tranquilly dreadful in store about to appear, as after a crowd of guys came to the Athenian brain-baby hitting on Joey, Mina noted that a guy in a Tuxedo was here.



And as far as Mina knew, he appeared tranquilly troubled even outside the search for Percy.

Were it not for the regards that Mina was already bi, to begin with, i'd need not point out that she's giggling like some kind of schoolkid bisexual who was rather restrained in terms of her orientation, despite the manners and tones in the giggling.
As it is, forgive me for breaking the 4th wall, as you then note that Mina goes to think to herself on the thoughts as she takes care to block out the exact words,'Exactly as i planned it, mother, the plan will come to fruition, after all, so by the time Rachel's letter of Prophecy finally arrives, we'll all gather around,' as Mina goes to giggle in regards to the thoughts on what to do to ease up some of the tensions.

Mina then goes to recall that someone might be looking up the Odyssey, next, but since there's still the threat of the hurricanes amuck, that can be contended with, later.
"So am i winning in this matter, Joey?Also how did you manage to read my dear cousin's mind when he usually tries to keep it so guarded, like that?Or at the very least the individual thoughts?" Mina had to ask aloud to Joey, lest her own thoughts get exposed so quickly.

Mina goes to look at Nico, still with the tranquil rage in the eyes aimed at a lot of the guys who weren't Mina's and Joey's immediate friends gathering around Joey, either in defensiveness or in jealousy or(Aphy may giggle in gallows humor on it!) even both, as Mina then thought to herself,'I wonder what might happen now,' as she goes to look at her cousin Cross, for the response.



"It looks like Beauty Princess #1 is winning out in that wager, then, i wonder if #2 is going to respond, yet," as Leo meant Joey's half-sister Erythia, whom if Leo didn't know any better could have been one of Mina's half-sisters instead and he wouldn't be able to have known the difference before the claiming was done, as Leo suspects that someone might violate this '4th wall stuff' that Mina keeps talking about and think that would be a plot-point Mina didn't pay all that much attention to, except he then asks,"So who's paying once this bet is done?" as he goes to look at a lot of the guys around Joey, who were apparently hitting on her for next to no real rhyme or reason in doing so, which the guys were still making Nico tranquilly furious, which makes Leo inclined to ready defenses of fire-absorption in case a fight breaks loose.




Cross frowned on this regard, as his eyes were now displayed as if they belonged to that of a rather young lad who didn't get emotionally smashed too many times to count.
Most likely its one of the only few times you'd get to see traces of humanity Cross had, left, after what happened when it started with Cross' 1st few superior officers being slain and Cross was powerless to do anything about that.
"I still know its my fault my uncle got killed, because of me, no matter what Officer Jenkins would tell me, otherwise!" as Cross felt that grief was going to overtake him, cue the extreme gravity in his power levels being shown, all of a sudden, in the form of an intense aura.

"Sorry, its none of my beeswax, isn't it?" you notice that the Inkblot mask was frowning on that idea, as Lou goes to note that Mina apparently made some sort of wager with Joey in regards to a lot of guys coming in to stare at Joey, right away.
