Red Rebels
Hokyo smirked a little at the man in front of him. A demon that didn’t rush stupidly into something was a sight to see, even if he had tried to enter the tent it would’ve been a bad decision for the man, even as Hokyo had stood the white aura lined the inside of his tent to hide those inside. “To be honest I could truly care less about the old man, but as he is in my tent, I must ask that you refrain from tearing about the encampment.” He said with a rather dull emotion hanging about him, of course he didn’t care about the man inside his tent, but the demon in front of him interested him. “Your money will be given to you, though what will you do afterwards? Will you continue to seek employment with random people, fighting for no cause but your own?” Hokyo asked his hands cupping themselves into each other.
“We can provide you food, shelter, women if you desire so much. Along with I will pay you out of my personal pocket, so how about we forget the forging alliance with some old man that hired you simply to kill and make a new one with me.” Hokyo tilted his head as though to look at the man, his green eyes starring at him. Though inside he hadn’t felt a single shred of terror, just logic and reasoning.
The Capital
Daton looked at Mayumi in a rather dull moment. Then he laughed at her, it wasn’t for he found it funny, but rather of the lack of knowledge people knew of the undersub system. “My dear you now are in charge of a portion of Dark’s forces, you will carry out training and if any man offer you problem, you simply deal with them as you see fit. It won’t be as long as you think, your not simply going to train, I’d like you to help with development of Dark’s son.” Daton said with a rather dull voice, he hadn’t lied but this battle would not take a single year, it wouldn’t be long before Hokyo attempted something. His letter had made sure of that. Standing he smiled at the Lords of the room. “Continue your celebration, I am tired and would like to take my rest.” He spoke with a noble voice again and turned to leave, without so much as Dark to follow him.

Bandi headed towards Hokyo's tent and was about to bring the news, when he saw a man at the entrance, and heard unfriendly tones. He stood in the shadows eying the man, and could infer that he was an assassin. But by the open nature he was facing Hokyo, he was sure he hadn't come to kill him. If he was, he would have done it in the dark.
He wasn't quite sure what was going on, but decided to watch for new development, before interfering.

Sci shook his head." I was employed by that man to do one thing. and I told him that I needed to know certain things in order to accomplish my goal. He gave me inaccurate information. And it almost led to my death after I had accomplished my goal. I want the last half of my fee doubled and paid by that man alone. That will settle my debt with him and I shall seek no vengeance and leave him be." Sci thought to himself. If he took the offer Hokyo made he could find out information about his father." And I will accept your offer of employment. But I will take three fourths of my normal fee monthly for the other fourth I will take information about a demon.. A demon I am most certain you once knew. His name is Jirigo.." Sci's face turned to utter disgust and said the words like spitting out toxic venom." He is my father."

Kai munched quietly on his apple. The events unfolding before him were quite amusing. He had decided not to interfere because he would have his time with Hokyo, the game had only just begun. He pushed off his tree post and stretched out. He got ready to approach the man as he could see their conversation was soon ending, but as he took his first step, something collided with him. Kai steeped back, a confused look on his face as he examined the person. It was a girl, quite cute, and blond at that, he did like his blonds… come to think about it Blake was blond wasn’t she… but he shook his head of these thoughts. There was a bigger problem here. Why hadn’t he sensed her?
It was all wrong, everything was all wrong but the more he looked at her, the more he understood why he couldn’t sense her. She was only half a person. How could you expect to sense only half of what a person was meant to be? This brought a whole new array of questions but he shoved them aside and reached for the little blond’s hands “forgive me ma’dear. I didn’t see yah standin there.” She looked dazed but not hurt.
Ah yes, it was Yune. She had been dazed, bumped into a stranger and was now, well lost. She had been thinking about those memories, about the red haired man, and even about that priest but now she was faced with an unfamiliar person. She smiled and gave a bit of a bow of her head before glancing around to make sure none had seen her fumble. “No. It’s my fault for day dreaming and walking.” She apologized a few more times and turned to leave but stopped dead in her tracks. There, not to far away the man she had healed, Sci and the red headed man from her visions, were talking?
“now that is curious.”

"I'm sorry, what?" Evan asked as Ray seemed to speak.But when he looked back, it seemed that she was speaking more to herself.
"Any way, these texts seem to be concentrated on the deeds of the Red Rebels in their early days. Most of the documents are spoiled with fungus, and illegible. But from what I've gathered so far, there some really interesting facts that come to attention. Did you know that the Green Healer had a twin brother? Apparently he wasn't born on the same day, but was split from the Green Healer at an early age." He continued, interested.

Ray slowly turned her head up and looked at Evan. She then shook her head and stood. "They are past events, past people, past lives... Yun... Yun would understand this more than me." She placed her fingers on the bridge of her nose and looked at the celestial book again. Without hesitation she pulled it off the shelf and held it to her chest. She would not open it but there was no way she was going to let anyone else have it. She just knew that it belonged to her, belonged to Yune and well she had to know.
Slowly the woman stood, tucking the book into the folds of her traditional Kimono. "Priest, this place is important to those who know it's meaning. I, i think we should fetch my sister."

Evan was mesmerized by some of the spells and magic listed in some of the books, but he heard Ray and was snapped back.
"Is she a historian of some sort?" He asked, but he was already closing the book and replacing them as he spoke.
"Let us go. I trust your confidence. Lead the way please."

Ray shook her head. " No she is not a scholar, but sense we arrived here she had been getting these feelings, visions if you must. Our minds are linked i can see what she has seen. From what i get, she saw twins, kind of like you mentioned, and a red haired man, much like that general you caught." She shivered and began to head out of the hidden chamber, towards the light and towards her Yun.
She placed a hand on her chin "I'd bet anything that these books have something to do with all this.... i'd stake my blood on it." When she reached the outside she closed her eyes, searching out her sister's light before getting a lock and heading in that direction.

"....In that case, this must be an odd place for all of us. Ever since you and the Red Rebels have arrived I've been getting similar feelings..."
He couldn't admit, but he also had an odd connection to this woman as well. It was as if they had known each other in a different life. And with all this different-life experiences, there seemed to be definitely something more going on than meets the eye.
"And you? Have you been getting any such...feelings?"

"when that water wielder came, Bandi was it? I saw something weird. The two of you, over your forms you had the souls of two similar looking people. Even your lights were the same. She placed a hand on her head as she walked. Something was up but she wasn't going to really go into detail till Yun was present. However she could answer his question a bit more.
"and the reason i had her protect this place, i know you, or in her words i knew you. It's all to confusing for me." She remembered, that feeling, the familiar tinge that ate at her spine. She could see her sister's light getting closer.

Evan nodded as if he understood. But truth be told, he was probably equally confused. That Bandi.... So it wasn't just him that was feeling it. In that case it was likely the man felt it too. He'll have to discuss the matter with him later.
"In any case, let's find your sister. As you say, she might some to more answers than us."

Ray stopped and turned to the priest. "when we were young, she use to see things, horrible things. Death, destruction, ghosts..... she could see into the hearts of people. To put her at ease i bound that power, but now i can see people's lights... their auras. But even as a child she mentioned a number of people and that is why i think she will know more." She offered a small smile and turned back around.
She picked up the pace as she grew closer to her sibling. what she found she did not like. A man was too close to Yun, a bad man at that, she could feel it, hell she could see it. But as if sensing he'd been caught the man gave her a small wave and vanished from her sight, 'good enough for me'. She aproached her sister and hugged the blond "you should tell me when you plan to move somewhere.' she muttered to the woman.
Yunari only laughed and glanced over her sister's shoulder "Father, it is nice to see you are well.... how's your brot.... wait, no that's wrong. " She placed a hand on her chin and shook her head. the wrong history? No the wrong spot in time.
Ray shuffled through her robes and found the book. She held this out to Yun who opened it with ease. With the two side by side they could easily open the book and while Ray could not read the words, Yun could. "that makes sense. Ray, this town, we died here once. Only, you were me, or i was you, what ever the case, we were one." Yun believed in this, she believed in the book and she felt that this was her past, so of course she was going to refer to them as the people in the book.

"Are you telling me that she knows of past lives?"
He was slowly coming to a understanding. "Are you saying..."

Yunari closed the book and slid it under her arm. "My mother told me that in a past life i could resurrect the dead" she stated softly
"B-but Yune our mother died before we could know such things."
Yunari shook her head and smiled slightly "I could see ghosts back then remember?" Ray gave a nod and Yun crossed her arms before placing a hand to her head. " I have seen things, which is no physically possible because i don't have that power. This town, these people, we are all linked in a never ending chain of souls. no matter how many times we die, no matter how many times we are reborn, we will come back and still end up together. " She handed the book to Ray, who slid it back in her robes then turned to the priest.
" I can not tell you who you were, but i can guarantee that your fate has been and always will be, with the man who looks like you. Even if your faces change, or your bodies are shaped differently, you're souls are bound eternally." she glanced over at Ray and smiled a little "but our time, is clashing with their time. Which is why we are begining to see images of the past."

Hokyo glanced at Sci for a moment, a half demon looking for a full fledge demon. Sighing he reached into his pocket and threw the coins at Sci. “I will spread the name of that demon among the collection intelligence, we can assume that if he moves sooner or later news will arrive about him.” He spoke calmly enough for a man unarmed, but his eyes glanced towards a nearby tree and a smile spread across his face. “Please do not attack the other red haired man; I assume he will understand my answer.” Hokyo spoke rather strangely, which most likely brought confused looks from others.
Turning he reached towards a rather large box that leaned against his tent, unclipping its seals he removed a rather smooth hand crafted bow and mounted a arrow and fired. Though his aim looked off, though the arrow flew increasingly well powered and collided with Kei’s half eaten apple. Though missed his hand along with any other person around, Hokyo smirked. This wasn’t a attack of warning or even to scare Kei off, but rather to acknowledge his existence. “If you take up your discussion with that man hiding in the shadows, his name is Bandi, I will have the papers signed for that demon looked for while he will gather some more knowledge which will fasten our search.” Hokyo spoke to Sci, it wasn’t that he had no interest in the half demon, but the idea of why Daton had allowed Kei out of his sights brought questions to his mind.
Setting the bow back into the case, he walked up to the tree which Yune , Ray, and even Evan had decided to gather. Hokyo glanced at the others, but ignored them. “Kei! What brings you to my little encampment, decide that Daton couldn’t satisfy your blood lust any longer and you need the thrill of going against him.” Hokyo spoke rather happily, he truly did miss that of the Five, they were his companions and his worst enemies at the same time. “If that is the case, I fear that you must return to Daton and make up, though I do measure your power and accept that you would be a large source of ability in the lines of the rebel forces, I fear that I just don’t have the taste for your type of massacre, I can design my own play without help.” Though he still sounded cheerful, his tone was much fierce this time, leaving no room for misjudgment, he had no desire for Kei to be near Ameena.
That is why he was much happier that Kei had come instead of Dark, Dark would’ve been able to read some of his mind and figure out his reasons, and even about Ameena, but maybe Dark would understand with finding that Soma was his son. He doubted it; he would attempt to destroy Hokyo on the spot. The pleasure between the two were wearing thin, and only those that had no sense of magic or even of tempers, could not tell that Hokyo had his defenses up, even if they weren’t shown, and Kei likely was the same way. In the past Kei and Hokyo were much alike, they were easy going, they didn’t allow much to bother them without hiding it below smiles and jokes, but even with these covers it was hard to imagine even one of the Five Pillars of Daton to be a joking matter. The truth be told Hokyo was just as capable of creating a massacre of a whole city alone as Kei was. Which meant that this meeting wasn’t entirely friendly.
