Alyson walked down to the lake from the climbing wall. Sighing, she kicks off her shoes and dunks her feet into the water while sitting on the edge. The water was colder than she expected. Reaching up for her hair, she pulled it loose from her hair tie, letting it flow down her back. Looking at her hand, she examined a small burn mark from the lava.

Skylar came down to the lake from his cabin. He looked around, but saw only one person there. Walking over, he sat down, but avoided going into the water and asked, "Can I join you?" Staring at the water, he became slightly paler.

"Sure, I'm Alyson and you are?" she asked. "Let me guess, afraid of water?" she added as she watched the boy turn paler at the sight of water.

'I'm Skylar, son of Aeolus," he said in reply, "And it's more that I fear of drowning. I don't like going into the water if I don't have to."

Alyson smiled then said, "Well then Skylar, let's sit under the tree then," as she pulled her feet out of the water and slid her shoes back on. She got up and sat down under the tree.

Skylar walked over to sit next to Alyson. "So, uh, I was wondering do you want to go to the dance with me," he said. Alyson was the only person he has met so far and he hoped he had someone to go with to the dance.

Alyson sighed, "And you just had to ask a girl right after you meet her. But since I haven't been asked yet, I accept your offer." She snapped her fingers, creating a grape vine at her side.
(Yay! She has someone to go with)

"Thanks," Skylar said as he watch a grape vine grow at Alyson's side by her command. "How did you do that?" he asked.

"We all have powers. Just depends who your parent is. I guess I haven't told you that I'm a daughter of Dionysus yet. Since your father is Aeolus, you should able to control wind and perhaps create storms," Alyson says in reply. Looking up to the sky, she says, "I should go back to my cabin, I've been here for a few hours, would you like to come?" She gets up and heads for her cabin.

"That's nice to know," Skylar says, "Sure I would love to see what your cabin is like." He gets up and follows Alyson to Cabin #12, Dionysus' cabin.

Luz looked into the water, she wondered what her family and friends where up too. She wanted to be back home, but she knew better. Luz got up, she wanted to leave the lake it wasn't her. She left and went to find a beach or something more familiar to her.

Alice walked onto the lake and smiled. She went to a tree near by and took off her shirt to reveal a white bikini top but kept her black shorts on. Alice opened up her hair, he liked it better open. "You ready?" ALice asked.

Alexis shivered as she stepped out of a shadow near Alice. "Alright...I don't know how to swim..." She murmured.

Alice took her hand and went to the edge of the lake "It's okay just make sure to stay close, Okay?" Alice asked but didnt rreally wait for a answer. She jumped in and waited for Alexis.

Alexis tried to slowly walk in but tripped on wet, slippery rocks. She fell in the lake.
