The noise startled her but when she looked up, her eyes were fixed on what it said. SHe started to tear up, but shook and wiped it away. She didn't look away from it, and smiled.

 Kanta was alone in the archery range, just how she liked it at times like this. She wasn't mad, but she wasn't happy either. She didn't care about it either way, she just found peace of mind as she heard the arrow hit its mark again and again. The target was covered in arrows, with only a small amount of space to actually shoot, but she didn't want a new target. She liked that one just fine, so she just kept shooting.

Suki came in, her own bow and arrows in hand and watched Kanta for a second. 'Yeah, she sure ain't in a good mood.' Suki went up to the target next to hers and glanced at her, then started shooting herself. After a few minutes and a few shots, Suki broke the silence. "How ya feelin, Nee-chan?" she asked casually, just the way to not piss her off.

"Drop it Suki." Was all she said. She kept shooting and her arrows started to fly faster.

"Serious? OK fine, then." She said, somewhat dropping the subject. They kept shooting, Suki was worse off than her sister but she didn't care or try to compete. Once her last arrow was gone on the target, she sighed and looked at Kanta. "Y'know I'm here if ya need to talk about it. And Hagi-sempai, I guess. But its not important to me if it ain't to you." She took her arrows off the target packed up her things and left her in the peace and quiet she knew she needed.

Kanta stopped for a bit after she left, wondering if she was gonna cry. She didn't, good. So she kept shooting until she finally needed a new target and more arrows.
