Nobody'll give me something to stop it until I'm 21, they said. Anyone got a time machine?
...What? Just because I can't bring myself to clarify what I'm talking about doesn't mean it's irrelevant to the thread. >.>;
Use common sense and derive what I might be referring to? XP Cause I'm not gonna say it.

Oh, I thought you were older D= Why do you have to wait until you're 21? That's stupid T___THow old did you think I was? xd If anything, I would swear I seem much younger than I am. *shrugs* Despite what I've been told by friends and acquaintances, which is that it's my right to get this kind of medication if I want it, nobody is willing to give it to me. I'm pretty sure it's something to do with "drastic measures" vs. lesser treatments, but I know what I want, and what I want is them gone. I don't need to reproduce, so if that's what they think will get messed up, well, I've made it very clear that I will never reproduce, so...either all medical professionals are idiots (a statement I'm inclined to agree with after seeing what they've done to countless friends and acquaintances of mine with all manner of problems), or they have something against helping me cancel something out completely when it can be lessened or whatever, even though that's not what I want. Or some other reason. Either way, I know it's not that nothing can be done, and that's all I need to know. This post is longer than I expected it would be. sweatdrop I guess I feel the need to explain all that, so as to avoid yet another round of "oh, have you tried ___?" I know what I want, and if they don't give it to me the day I turn 21, someone's getting a drill to the forehead. Probably me.

I think I thought you were like 20 or 21... I probably just assumed you were my age XD
I'm sorry, and I hope you'll be able to deal with it in the meantime... T___T

I wouldn't use "dealing with it" to describe my experiences. xp Hell, I'm really lucky this time...my parents and brother are away for five days, starting early this morning. This happens once a year. I've been chillaxing in the bathroom all day with a phone (in case they call), my laptop (obviously), a bag of chips (ruffles!), and a glass of water. And I'm still about as comfortable as I would be in a poison ivy bush.
I'm the only person I know who has more issues with the...output...than with normal related problems. By about 5 to 1. >.> And the only reason the ratio is that small is because when I do get cramps, I'm basically immobile for hours unless I take about half a bottle of advil. XP

I'm not entirely sure what you mean but I think I got a good idea. sweatdrop
Something like Depo or Mirena could help. Though considering the side affects you could get with Depo I wouldn't suggest it, plus you can only use it for 2 years. Mirena is possible if you find a doctor who isn't an idiot, though insurance may not cover it. If anyone tells you an IUD is "drastic" they're just being dumb, I have one it was much less drastic than the shot was.

Well I was hoping for a pill or something...I'm so neurotic about bodies that I can't let doctors see me naked or even poke me in inappropriate places, so anything involving insertion is out of the question, as is hysterectomy sweatdrop There is a pill that makes them stop, right? Not just ones that make them further apart and stuff?

Not sure. The reason Depo and Mirena stop it is because of the progesterone. I know there are pills with progesterone, they may lighten it but I don't think they can stop it.

 I thought I remembered seeing a birthcontrol pill commercial where you end up only getting a period once a year or something /I can't remember exactly. But I know that one of my friends in highschool was on some sort of birthcontrol pill because her periods were so bad that she would actually have to stay home from school for a day or two if she didn't take it...and she was definitely was like 17-18 and the time...so I don't know why nobody will let you get anything until you're 21.
On a slightly random note....I'm so glad my period waited until today to start...it so would have sucked if I had gotten it while on vacation XD

Dear Body, Three weeks ago you decided you give me my period. Okay, makes sense, it was at the right time. Then it was unusually short considering the fact that I wasn't on birth control that month. Okay, cool. Two days later my period comes back. What? Um.. whatever, probably the fact that I just got back on birth control after a month of not being on it. Now, two weeks early, I have my period again? I would say it's just spotting.. but then why am I all emotional all of a sudden? In short, STOP BEING DUMB. Love, Me
