Kagura, one of the teachers of this academy, walked in the academy building, eventually going past Kotori. At that time, she was able to hear the girl was looking for a teacher and as a good teacher would do, she went towards Kotori to offer her help. "Hello?" she greeted the kunoichi that looked for training. "If you're looking for a teacher, just go to my classroom." she said and pointed to a classroom a few steps ahead in the hall. Kagura was about to walk in the classroom, but she was told by a monitor that there was a student looking for a Katon teacher around. Controling herself to not get mad at the monitor that didn't help the student, she simply told him to tell the boy where the Katon teacher's classroom is. With that problem solved at least for now, she walked in the classroom and waited for the girl she talked to in the hall. The classroom was empty, the academy student classes belong to other teachers, Kagura just helps those who need to learn what's needed to get started as a genin, not the basics. The monitor that saw Seizon looking for a teacher before, went after him and once he would find the shinobi, he would tell the boy where Kyoukan's classroom is.

{ Because Iwagakure now has an active RPC capable of teaching fire jutsu, Kyoukan Gikou will be retiring to spend his life in peace and flammable objects. He may or may not return to do a little teaching or something else, but it won't be as part of the academy. }

(Sry I forgot to post here) The monitor that previously said where the Katon teacher classroom was, came back again. He forgot that the teacher Kyoukan was not there anymore and didn't have a certain date to return so he went back to Seizon to tell him who he should look for, the chuunin Konaga Shinji. Meanwhile, in the classroom, Kagura told a few other students to leave so she could teach Kotori. "Hi, sorry for making you wait." she said. "Get up and come here, you'll be learning some jutsus now." she told the girl who waited untill now.

(Sry to make you wait this long, I had some problems and couldn't post because of them) "Before teaching you, I need to know your chakra element." she said to Kotori and waited for a reply. If Kotori had the elemental chakra that Kagura teaches then she would teach her some jutsus and test her for genin rank without any problem.

As the earthquake started, the teachers guided all the students out of the building and didn't leave untill everyone was safe. Three classrooms were damaged and could collapse at any time. The entrance of the academy was too damaged and didn't resist, part of the call collapsed with the door.

Konaga Riko Iwagakure| Konaga Clan | Genin|| Taijutsu Specialist || Speed || Tectical || Arriving at the Academy, Riko saw that the building was evacuate and that the front door had collapsed along with another part of the wall. Fearing for the safety of the young child, Riko wondered how in the world she had even managed to sneak back in with several of the teachers still hanging around doing their best to comfort the panicing children who are waiting to be taken to their parents. Shaking her head to clear her head of those thoughts, Riko focused on finding the missing child first. Sneaking her way around two supervising instructors, Riko leaped into the building through an open window and procceeded to search the building. After searching the whole bottom level with no success, Riko carefully began making her way up a flight of stairs up to the second level, almost falling once thanks to a weaken tile that broke under the sudden weight. Shaking the mishap off, Riko continued to look around for the child and eventually heard the small meak cry of a child seeking help.
Rushing towards the classroom where she heard the voice originate from, Riko rapidly slid the door open and ran inside. As if knowing that someone has finally come to help her, the young child did her best to raise her voice even louder. "H-hel-help! It hurts...please help me..." Whipping her head around in a franzy, Riko did her best to locate the child but her sight was failing her. Knowing that rushing wasn't getting her anywhere, Riko took in serveral deep breaths as she tried to find the exact location of the voice dispite it echoing almost equally throughout the classroom. Eventually reaching the very back of the room, Riko called out hoping to gather the girl's current hiding place. "Hey, you there? I'm here to help you, where are you right now?" Remaining still for a moment, Riko didn't have to wait long before she recieved a response. "H-he-here...under the desk...my-my foot's stuck..."
Going over to the desk, Riko knelt down and spotted a teary eyed child with one hand clutching onto a wrapped package and the other gripping tightly onto her leg that was currently caught in the floor. Pushing aside several chairs, Riko bent near the hole where the girl's foot was stuck and saw that it was indeed caught between two pillars. Whincing softly at the sight, Riko began tenitively placing her hands around the girl's ankle as she tried to test the waters. Seeing that it was pretty securely stuck, Riko knew that moving the beam was in their best interests. Turning to face the girl who was now trying her best not to cry, Riko flashed her a warm smile which was returned weakly by the child. "Hey, don't worry okay? I'm going to get you out of here and back to your mother alright?" After seeing the girl nod, Riko continued on with her plan. "Alright, now then, I'll need you to pull you leg towards you once you feel the weight lifted off it okay? I'm going to lift up one of the pillars and once you're freed run to the end of the room okay? I don't know what might happen once I let go okay?"
Upon hearing a meek 'okay' from the poor girl, Riko took a deep breath before using all of her strength to try and lift the beam that was currently on top of the girl's leg. After a few seconds of pulling, Riko still felt it not giving way and knew that she would need to tap into her bloodline least waste more time trying to get help. Releasing a dejected sigh, Riko focused her chakra to her arms as she felt them get surrounded in raw chakra which in turn increased her strength. Hearing the cracking sound of wood, Riko knew that she was breaking the beam with her strenght and tugged upward even more. As soon as the weight was lifted from her now bleeding leg, the girl tucked it close to her chest before scramppering off to the side. Hearing the girl rush off, Riko released both the beam and the chakra from her arms and she pushed herself back with her legs. Whincing as a new set of pain filled her arms, Riko could hear the girl gasp as a large hole was made where her foot was was caught. Knowing that the broken beam most likely collided with the beam beneath causing it to also crack, thus causing a hold and debris to fall onto the classroom below, Riko sat upright and turned to the red eyed girl. "Let's get you to your family." Not waiting for the child to respond, Riko forced herself up as she lifted the child up into her arms and began making her way back towards section 9/6. For the first time a new girl steps into the academy. She is quite a bit older than most the students, but having lived a sheltered life outside the world of shinobi in a small village didn't help her. Only recently has she travelled to the main city of Iwa to pursue her goal of becoming a fine Shinobi. "What shall I do, what shall i do." Lana walks down the halls of Iwa academy wondering just where she should go next.

(-___- crap didn't catch that. not sure how my character should learn anything. i guess i will just wander around the village and see what i can find...im not sure what exactly is destroyed though.)
Walking through the halls of the building Lana seemingly mislooked the fact that half the building is turned to rubble. "What happened here?" Lana looks to the debris and destruction. Shaking her head she hopes nobody was hurt. This kind of destruction is terrible. She had grown up in some terrible conditions, some real trying times. Her tiny village has undergone a terrible series of events. Their peaceful times disrupted by madmen. Now a village in shambles in plain view to Lana. Walking through the rubble she listens for anybodies voice that may be stuck under the rocks. She hears nothing but a eerie breeze. Sighing Lana walks off into the distance to find something to do, somewhere non-destroyed where she can learn to become a shinobi that can protect people from any harm.

Kyoukan Gikou ~
The girl who had just entered the academy had been lucky so far. Somehow she had managed to find the one entrance that had not been blocked by debris, but the entire building was just about ready to collapse around her, and she seemed not to even notice. Directly in front of her, a chunk of the ceiling suddenly broke loose, filling the hallway with dust for a few seconds. When it cleared, a figure could be seen lying on his back atop the dust, a trail of blood running up his forehead, as his head was upside down. Slowly, his eyes cracked open, and lighted upon the girl. "Hello pretty lady." The man spoke, smiling slightly giddily, before suddenly blinking and looking around, lurching upwards into a sitting position on the pile of rubble. "Huh?" He scratched his head, before suddenly looking at the girl again, eyes wide as he held his hands up in defense. "I didn't do it!" He insisted, even as another chunk of ceiling broke loose behind her, blocking the hallway. "Or that!"
~ Gikou returns! For a while anyways.

Looking around her Lana is in disbelief that this is all happening. She had reached an open area that would of been so much safer to exit the building than this crowded and cramped hallway. "Who are you?" Lana stands ready and alert trying not to get surprised by all that is around her. Remaining calm is of great use here. "Are you ok?" looking at the mans bloody forehead she is a little scared at this moment, but doesn't let it show.

Kyoukan Gikou ~
"Who am I?" Gikou repeated, cocking his head to the side for a mere instant as he looked back at her, then suddenly grinned widely. "Kyoukan Gikou, certified pyromaniac and demolitionist extraordinaire, at your service!" He introduced himself, taking an exaggerated bow as he completed his introduction. "And what do you mean am I okay? I'm fine!" He frowned slightly, then blinked as he felt something running down his face. Dabbing his face, he brought his fingers before his eyes and blinked at them again, trying to decipher why he had blood on his face. Then, reaching up higher, he poked at his own head for a few seconds, until suddenly flinching. "Ow! That hurts!" He yelped, clutching his forehead tightly as the bleeding seemed to increase slightly, now dripping off of his face rather rapidly and onto the floor.
