Lt. Surge "Use mega punch." As soon as jolteon move connected the electabuzz launch a mega punch right in the stomach of jolteon.

Jolteon felt the hit from the Mega Punch and leaped back. "You ok Jolteon?" Jolteon barked like it didn't phase it at all. "All right. Jolteon, use Shadow Ball." Jolteon shot a powerful shadowy blob of energy at Electabuzz which affected its Special Defense as well.

Lt. Surge Taking the hit electabuzz snarl at jolteon. "Use lightscreen." The electabuuz put its hands facing jolteon and a light purple wall appeared.

After they had enter the gym Tyson went to diglet's cave to try and capture one. Along the way he saw a shadow of someone there. He went to investigate who it was. The shadow turn around and said in a grasp of a voice. "Get out." Taking a pokeball out and throwing it came a haunter. "If you want to battle that much then why didn't you ask." He threw out wartotle pokeball and it came out. The shadow commanded haunter to use dark void. It did as it was told. 'Dark void, haunters don't usually us....' Everything turn pitch black and they both fell into a deep slumber. After awhile he was in a cloud and Tyson saw the whole region of Kanto an Johto. In this dream he saw a captured pokemon in the midst of the two region trapped. After that it was all blank. He woke up and the shadow with the haunter was gone. He went deeper to diglet cave and capture a diglet with ease. 'That was weird.' He thought as he was remembering the whole dream. As he did this he reach the pokecenter and heal his pokemon. After that he went to the door of the gym. He saw that Mina was in a fierce battle with the gym leader. He told both Celic and Felix who was winning.

"Well so far it is a tie. At first it was her growlithe against Lt. Surge magneton. It ended with a tie due to magneton's explosion. Then it was the ampharos versus ivysaur, which ivysaur won barely. After that the gym leader use an electabuzz and use fire punch. That is what you miss. Just wondering, but where were you?"

"Nice shot Jolteon. Let's pick up some speed with Agility." Jolteon started running around again to increase its speed more. Mina looked back to see Tyson come back and watch and she smiled.

"Nice of you to join us Tyson!" he said in a bit of a teasing way but with a friendly smile as he sniffed a slight bit and leaned in closer to Tyson sniffing around him, "He's been in the caves... Diglett's Cave to be exact... you decided to pick one up didn't you buddy? Thas not a bad idea either considering that you'll be facing Lt. Surge next." he said with a bit of a half smile as he focused back on the battle.

Lt. Surge "Electabuzz use charge to regain your special defense, and use charge beam at jolteon." It charged which raised it special defense and shot a beam of powered electricity at jolteon.

She smirks. "Jolteon, take the hit." Jolteon stands its ground and gets hit full on by the Charge Beam and doesn't look phased or hurt. "Now Jolteon, use Quick Attack." Jolteon quickly rushes too fast and hits Electabuzz. "See Lt. Surge sir, I learned a lot about my Jolteon and one thing is its ability, Volt Absorb. When it's hit with Electric attacks, it absorbs that power and uses it to heal itself." Jolteon barks proudly.

Lt. Surge "You think I don't know that. Electabuzz take the hit and use hyper beam!" Jolteon landed a hit to electabuzz and got paralyze. After that the move connected since it was close to him. 'I see now. I know he did that, better watch out when its my turn.' He said as he watched the intense battle.

Jolteon became paralyzed and she saw her Jolteon get hit with Hyper Beam and it skidded across the field on it's feet, still standing. "Jolteon....hang in there...."

Lt. Surge After that the electabuzz did nothing for it had to recharge. 'I know I should not do this but she need help.' Felix stood up and yelled. "Does jolteon knows facade!"

She looks over to Felix when he asked her a question. "Well....we were practicing it....but we haven't perfected it yet..." Jolteon growls feeling the paralysis.
