virgil laughed and slaped his knee. " Oh please i can do as i please. After all i do own this entire continent and every one in it. although heroes like you make it easy. A city is attacked and taken over while you enjoy relaxing and snoozing. Man i got lucky or something with the heros this time around. Oh well dead heroes need no worries or so they say. " laughed virgil again as he flexed his claws.

Xairan's body was stiff as he crouched close to the ground. He snarled, he had his mate and unborn pups to protect as well as Ayden.

Virgil smirked again as he pointed at the 3 opponets before him. " Il make it quick." said virgil as energy quickly built up in his finger. He then smirked again as he fired the concentrated energy into a powerful blast that would take out all 3 of them if they didnt get out of the way. They were fighting the demon lord the strongest demon there is.

Xairan summoned a portal around all three of them, quickly making them disappear before they were hit. The portal would take them to a very far away place. Doing this was taxing on a spirit wolf's energy but he had lives that he needed to protect.

Ayden awoke in just enough time to see Virgil and everything around them disappear. Another glade appeared around them. She looked around her and opened her mind widely to see if anything was with in the area that might want to harm them. She dug her nails deep into the ground helping her look even farther. She took and exhaled a deep breath and looked at Himalaya. "This one doesn't feel anything bad around here." She looked at Xairan. "This one wants to thank you for doing that to save this one and Himalaya." She put her hands on Xairans shoulders and let her energy course out of her into Xairan.
Nane appeared beside Virgil, his aura was schooled to be demonic. "Damn..." He muttered quietly. "Seems you scared my aunt and those damned wolves away." He smiled in wardly. He wanted the wolves dead but not Ayden. Her, he wanted to torture, she had chosen the wrong side, she should have joined her brother that way both of them could have lived instead of her killing her brother, his father.

Xairan was breathing heavily but he could feel the energy coursing through his body. His strength was now returning to its full level, "I must protect my mate and unborn pups as well as you Ayden. You have been with Himalaya's family for three generations, sadly they were all killed very early in life" he said. Himalaya was weary as she sat close to Xairan and Ayden. She hated those demons with her very being and she wanted to see them dead.

virgil laughed. " Yes it seems i did. so such cowards first they flee from phantom then they flee from me. I feel sorry for the heroes. IF you would Nane take a force of demons and pursue them. Once you find them your free to do whatever you please with them i dont care. I m sure you can find them easily as teleportation leaves a trail to follow if your quick enough. " asked virgil. As he said this a force of demons appeared around them ranging from human sized to tree size as they all gathered around waiting for orders.

Ayden sighed and removed her hands. "Yes. This ones friends and family have all been taken from her early." She looked at himalaya before putting her hands on her stomach. She closed her eyes and let her presance and healing gifts flow into Himalaya. She sensed 3 healthy pups and one still smaller. She smiled at Himalaya. "You have four pups." She said happily.
Nane cracked his knuckles happily. "I have no need of others. But if you want have them follow me if they are able." He grinned evily and disappeared into the Nether worlds. He could see the spirit wolves through the veil between the two worlds. He schooled his Aura back to his normal and jumped back into Aydens world. "I don't mean to be here but You are in trouble. Virgil wants you dead and he wants me to do it, But I;m not. Just get out of here soon." He jumped back into the other world Making it look like he was searching his aura returning to pure demonic.

Himalaya wagged her tail happily at the news, "four puppies, can you believe it Xairan" she said. Xairan nuzzled her, "I am thrilled" he said. They were startled when Nane appeared and the news he had just given them. "We must keep traveling" he said.

Ayden looked at Himalaya then to xairan. "Can this one ride with you? This one doesn't want to hurt Himalaya's pups." Her silver eyes glimmered in concern for Himalaya and the pups.

Himalaya was touched by the concern in Ayden's eyes for her and her pups. She licked Ayden's nose then nuzzled her. Xairan nodded his head then crouched down, "yes you can ride on my back" he said.

Ayden smiled at Himalaya's display of affection then turned to Xairan. "Thank you." She said softly before lightly getting on Xairans back.

After Ayden was situated on Xairan's back, the two spirit wolves took off. They would not stop running until they found a safe place for all of them to go.

Ayden clutched Xairans fur to keep herself From falling off. She kept her mind streached out to search for threats. She hadn't senced anything to make her want to flee but because of Nanes threat they needed to get as far away as they could. "This one can't feel anything that would harm us."

Xairan nodded, "Good, let's keep it that way" he replied. The journey was little more taxing on Himalaya's energy than it was on Xairan. She grew tired faster and needed more rest stops. She could have gone all day without needing any rest but it was necessary because of the four little lives she was carrying.
