Kaede couldn't see what had happened, but Takeshi reacted a bit harshly. Kaede laughed loudly, just twice. "All work and no play makes Takeshi a dull guy! Good work Manami! Let us continue!" She pulled out a weapon and placed it on the ground before her. "Kaede personally love this technique. It is called the Exploding Kunai Technique. Whenever your target touches a weapon, it seemingly explodes! Please pick Kaede this time!" Kaede spun on her heels and turned back to Takeshi. "Try putting more effort into your training, that was hardly enough to pass. The next technique is known as the Lightning Clone. It is incredibly simple. You use your chakra to make a a clone of lightning!" Kaede showed him the simple set of seals, and turned once more to Daichi. "Now for the last technique you wanted to learn; Chakra Light Technique." As Kaede spoke, she showed Daichi the hand seals. "This technique produces a ball of chakra light. It casts a glow for about 30 feet, and lasts around 5 minutes or so." Kaede finished, and turned back to Manami so that he may attempt his technique on her.
Bakuretsu Kunai (Exploding Kunai)
Type: Pain Distraction
Whenever the target touches a weapon it seemingly explodes, even if it’s there own. This however will not actually injure the person it's being used on, because this is a genjutsu.
Raikou Bunshin no Jutsu (Lightning Clone Technique)
Description: This technique makes a simple clone of the shinobi however unlike the standard bunshin, which is a genjutsu, this bunshin takes an actual physical form through the use of electrically charged chakra. One can easily touch and hold this clone like it was in fact an actual person, however when it is attacked it quickly disperses into smoky, hot air. It is also able to attack using taijutsu, however it's ability to attack is around 1/10 in perspective to the user, in return for this weakness it's attacks deliver shocks of electricity to the opponent's body.
Chakra Hikari no Jutsu (Chakra Light Technique)
This jutsu allows the user to make a ball of chakra that produces light. Although it can’t harm anyone it’s useful for when going in dark areas and good for letting your comrades know where you are if you get lost in a foggy place. The light cast by the chakra ball illuminates an area up to 30 feet in all directions around you. Once created, the light will automatically follow you wherever you go and can be moved around you to illuminate different areas. However, the light cannot be moved more then 5 feet away from the user, or it will disappear. The light lasts for 5 posts at which point the chakra condensed into the ball of light fades out.

Mikomi politely observed her student as she attempted the technique. There were times when Setsuna appeared to be repeating things just for repetition's sake, but she decided not to address it since people all have their own little ways of learning. It didn't take long however for Setsuna to surprise Mikomi: she performed the technique dozens of times! Surely she shouldn't be able to keep going, and yet she isn't fatigued at all! Her chakra reserves must be out of this world! It took Mikomi a moment both to recover from this shock, and the fact that Setsuna had begun doodling on the ground. With a slight flush of aggrivation that soon went away, an "eh-hem," escaped her lips as she tried to draw Setsuna's attention. "Alright, great job Setsuna! Now onto the next technique. She drew a kunai from her pouch, put her pinky finger through the hole, and performed a handsign. The kunai was soon coated in chakra, and she took a shuriken from her pouch. She turned and tossed the kunai at a spot on the ground 20 feet away, but as she did so she ground the tip of the shuriken along the kunai. The resulting sparks ignited the chakra and caused the kunai to burn for a few seconds as it sat on the ground before the chakra was completely consumed. "That's the fire release shuriken technique. It's pretty simple in terms of handsigns and chakra manipulation, but you have to make sure to light it before you toss it. As you can see, you can us it kunai in addition to shuriken."

Katon: Shuriken no Jutsu (Fire Release: Shuriken Technique)
Using chakra, the user will coat the outer layer of a projectile, such as a kunai or shuriken with fire. This is performed by coating the item with chakra, then throwing the projectile, and quickly setting it ablaze via a small fire form the user's mouth. Since the projectile is coated with chakra, so it catches quite easily. This technique is not only capable of cutting the opponent, and also burning them. Only one projectile at a time!Daichi Mayu
| Leaf Genin | Weapon Master Class | Mayu Bloodline | Daichi performed like clockwork, and sure enough it wasn't long before the technique was mastered. He formed the handsigns for the jutsu and projected his chakra to a space in front of him. The chakra soon condensed and illuminated itself like a small moon, and he manipulated his chakra to cause the ball to go flying toward Kaede. It looked like it was going to run into her, but it dissipated when it got too far form him. Thank goodness that's all over with. I guess I need to go pick up those extra tools I requested of Lady Hokage yesterday. So Daichi picked up the shuriken he had left around, and bowed to Kaede in thanks for all her help. There wasn't much more he could learn through further observation of those around him, except that Setsuna over at the other end of the training grounds was using one jutsu a remarkable number of times. It was curious, but there were more pressing things to be done other than observing the behavior of those around him. He waved to Kaede and the rest of his small training group before turning and walking back toward the entrance of the building and walking down the semi-crowded streets toward the tool warehouse. At the small cough from Mikomi, Setsuna looked up but stayed crouched on the ground. After observing the skill, the girl began practicing it. First came the hand sign. Although, after about five times, the girl felt fairly confident that she had gotten the hang of it. As the Hyuuga had explained, the hand signs were simple. Next, was the chakra manipulation. It probably was simple, but the problem was Setsuna didn't know how she was supposed to manipulate her chakra. What was she supposed to do with it? The teacher had quite forgotten to explain that important portion. [1/3] After some figuring and imagined mental observations (mainly involving gasoline), Setsuna decided that the chakra must be used to spread the fire. The spark of kunai clashing with shuriken ignited the chakra, which being spread all over the kunai caused the spark to grow into a full-blown flame. As Mikomi had said, the chakra manipulation was easy. In no time, Setsuna had covered the entire kunai in a layer of flammable chakra. To test it out, the girl created a spark in the same way Mikomi had. [2/3] Now, all that was left to do was to repeat the technique so that it became second-nature. Oh, and to also figure out different ways to use it. After sending about five kunais/shurikens with the initial method, the girl switched to more creative ideas. Some of them were simple enough, such as using a rock in the environment to create the spark rather than creating the spark with another weapon. Others were so complex that while the theory behind them seemed sound enough, Setsuna never really managed to pull off the technique. The most notable was when she threw both shuriken and kunai at the same time and attempted to get them to hit with each other. She could never get the two to hit each other hard enough to make a spark. [3/3] After giving up on the shuriken-kunai dual throw, Setsuna walked off. She collected all of the weapons she had thrown, and then returned back to her teacher.

Takeshi looked at Kaede as she made the clone, and yelled at him. He was grinning by then, "I'm not dull, I'm just not in the mood to have genjutsu casted on me." He was listening to everything Kaede was saying, and had realized that it was a genjutsu that was cast on him because of that.
Going back to his own training, Takeshi thought for a moment trying to remember the hand seals. It took him a second to remember them, but once he did he went to work. Casting the hand seals in rapid procession he started to channel his chakra. When Takeshi finished, there was a clone of himself standing right next to him.

[Genin] [Ranmaru] [Konoha] A look of disappointment was Manami's only reaction to Takeshi. He made a mental note to antagonize the man in the future, knowing full well what kind of trouble that it could get him into. But he didn't care, the other ruined a potentially funny moment by actually being on his guard, and not reacting in any way besides a warning that even a child would brush off as stupid. He shrugged, and turned his attention to the kunai laid on the ground before him. The technique seemed simple enough, and all he did was renew his gaze upon Kaede, re-familiarizing himself with the genjutsu casting method. He could feel his chakra mold and subtly invade the little girl before him, placing the mine that was the genjutsu. Afterward, he nodded as a signal for her to try it out.

Nexus sat in meditation for a long time. He was preparing himself for his training that was soon to come. He had decided to invent his own type of ninjutsu and he had finally decided how he would make them. He started by lighting a cigarette and placing it between his lips. He would focus his chakra on the flame that burned the paper and caused it to grow and release a lot more ash and smoke. He would then take a long toke and hold the smoke and ash in his lungs for a while. He would concentrate his chakra on the smoke for a while.

Nexus would then take a much longer toke on the cigarette and the paper would burn all the way down to the filter. He then would open his mouth and let the filter and ash fall into his mouth. He would then swallow the whole thing and let it sit in his throat while he focused his chakra into the ash and smoke. With one vulgar gesture, Nexus would seem to scream as he projected the chakra-enhanced ash and smoke into the air in front of him. The smoke and ash would form what seemed to be a cloud that was all around him. Anyone that were to breathe in the poisonous cloud or get trapped in it would have issues breathing and seeing. It would probably lower the stamina of people, too, after they had prolonged exposure to it.
[2/2] Ash Spray Learned!
Now, Nexus needed to develop this technique to become more than just a close-range shot. He knew that the jutsu would work well if he could launch it at a target. However, the jutsu created a cloud and a cloud cannot be launched a very far distance without putting wind into the mixture in order to push it. If he made to be solid or a compact ball of ash, however, then it could be launched a certain distance before it would break apart and spray the bits of ash or smoke. Nexus spent a long time thinking of this before he decided on the process he would take for this jutsu.

Nexus sat down and began to meditate once again. He sat like this for a few minutes, gathering up his chakra to prepare for this new technique. He placed the cigarette between his lips like he did before and lit it. He would breathe in the entire thing and amplify the flames to create more ash and smoke than would normally be produced. He would then swallow the cigarette and hold it in his throat, using his chakra to create more flames that would create even more smoke and ash. However, Nexus would use his chakra to create a solid ball of ash in his throat rather than keep it as a bunch of loose ash. Again, in one vulgar gesture, Nexus would propel the ash forward. Since it was in a solid ball, it shot out straight and smacked it a tree. The ball of ash would explode and caused a large amount of smoke and ash to spray everywhere.
[2/2] Ash Bullet Learned!
It was now time for Nexus to further his training in these techniques. He had already began to develop a simple spray of ash and smoke into what was almost like a large bullet of solid ash and smoke. Maybe he could possibly evolve this technique to become even more powerful. Nexus leaned up against the tree that he had hit with the ash and began to breathe in the smokey air that was around it. He would need to begin to get used to having ash and smoke in his lungs if he were to begin to develop this jutsu further. Getting used to this most smoke would be a difficult task.

Nexus sat on the ground amidst all the ash. There was a lot of it now after he had just performed those two jutsus. He lit another cigarette to help him think for a bit and then he felt a breeze pick up. It blew ash into his face and his eyes. He let it happen so that he would get used it better. Some of his ash that was lit fell from the cigarette and hit the dead ash on the ground and Nexus noticed the flame flick up and then die out. "Did a flame just come out of the ashes when my cinders hit them? Maybe I could use that to my advantage," he thought, silently. He had finished training himself to withstand the intense ash and smoke and also discovered how to create a new ninjutsu.

Nexus sat amongst the ashes and let the smoke fumes fill his nose. He lit a fresh cig and placed it between his lips and then took a long toke and swallowed the whole thing, ash and all, and let it sit in his throat. He would then concentrate on burning it to create more ash and smoke. Nexus would continue to burn it like this for a little while to build up resistance to it.

Nexus finally finished. And instead of solidifying it and expelling it out with a monstrous yell, Nexus sent it out like he would with a fireball jutsu. He spit the ash ball straight toward a bare patch of dirt and made sure that his flames were still part of the ash. When the ball of ash collided with the ground, it would explode and create a small inferno before Nexus. As it exploded, a mixture of ash, flames, and smoke would be sent into the air. Luckily, nothing was set on fire and Nexus sat down in his large mess of ash, smoke, and cinders. It was everywhere and probably would now bother everyone at the training grounds.

The ash can be set aflame once it is in the air by a C-Rank of higher Fire Jutsu and covers an area of 5 meters around the user. If a D-Rank or higher Water Jutsu is used or a D-Rank Wind Jutsu is used, the cloud can get wetted or blow away.

A C-Rank of higher Wind Jutsu will be able to blow this technique away and continue on through. A D-Rank Water of Fire Jutsu will nullify or ignite this Jutsu. This has a range of 10 meters and causes a ash cloud of 5 meters around upon impact.

Jutsu Description: Nexus inhales on his cigarette until it is mostly ash and he swallows it. By focusing chakra on the flames, Nexus makes them grow and it creates large amount of smoke and soot in his lungs. Nexus then releases it and send flames, ash, and smoke at a target. The blast is sent in a small orb of all the contents, but it has a violent combustion upon impact. This is best aimed at the ground. If it misses and does not make contact, the contents just fall to the ground and the flames die out.
This technique can travel 10 meters in a straight line, but can be wetted down and rendered useless by a C-Rank or higher Water Jutsu. The explosion is about 5 meters wide and causes second degree burns. There's also a small concussion blast that will either disorient the target or push them back a bit after getting burned.

Most people had already left but his cousin was still here and he did not really know that much about him so he smiled and walked over to him. Nexus turned to look at his cousin who had just interrupted his training time. Nexus sighed. Maybe it was time to take a small break from learning ninjutsu and spend some time getting to know his cousin. "Heya, Mifune," Nexus responded with a fake smile. Nexus wasn't too fond of other Uchiha because knew that it would be hard one day to kill one of his fellow Uchiha if they were too close to him. After all, that was the only way to obtain true power as an Uchiha. "I'm just practicing some of my own jutsu. Did you need something?"

Nexus lit a cigarette as he listened to his cousin speak. He needed to learn genjutsu, eh? "Well, I'm known for my ability to teach anything to anyone. I can help you out." Nexus walked over to Kaede, the teacher. "Excuse me, miss, but can you supply me with a training scroll for my buddy. I'm helping him learn genjutsu," Nexus then turned back to his cousin. "Now, do you have any idea what it is that you wanted to learn? Anything specific?"

I want to learn EVERY genjutsu I can after all you never know when something will come in handy ya know. Why not start at E-Rank and go from there." That was one of his goals in life to become an absolute master of genjutsu.

Without any clear signs of hesitation, Kaede reached forward and wrapped her small hands around the kunai. Her body visibly flinched as an explosion went off in her head. Rather than a scream, Kaede let out a high peal of laughter. Again and again she set off the blast, only to crack up afterward. Soon Kaede grew bored, and canceled out the genjutsu. She wiped a tear from her face before continuing on with her lesson. Before she even could, some hot head looking male approached her. Kaede gave him an odd look, and then handed him the paper. "Were you the boy who had gotten caught on the tree?" She asked, not actually expecting an answer. She turned back to Manami, and explained the next technique to him. "Demonic Illusion: Vision of Hell Technique. It is a truly beautiful technique. By letting sand, leaves, or something small slip through your fingers to the ground, you can trigger the technique. The victim obviously has to see this action. They will be forced to imagine a very horrid scene. Please, try it on Kaede! I bet I won't pass out~" She said in a sing song voice, turning to Takeshi. Kaede tossed out the kunai she was holding, destroying the clone. Small bursts of electricity could be seen coming from it. "Static Strings allow you to set up a perimeter. If someone happens to pass through these fairly undetectable strings, you will receive notice via a little shock. On their end, they'll hardly feel anything." She flashed him the seals, and turned to Manami again.
Magen: Narakumi No Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Vision of Hell Technique)
Type: Painful Reality Change
Trigger: Hands
Description: A low level illusion skill, which makes the opponent envision a very traumatic scene. The genjutsu is created when the target watches the caster let sand, leaves, or other small things slip through his or her fingers onto the ground. The jutsu forces the target to think about the worst event possible for them because falling is considered to be a bad omen, and then capitalizes on that by making the target see it happen.

Nexus took the paper and grumbled a little bit. He wasn't fond of people knowing about that old incident where he hung by his underwear from a tree when he failed to impress a girl. Nexus took the paper back to Mifune and held it out. "Well, I guess we can start with the Double Vision Jutsu. It looks like you need to start distracting your opponent and then projects the genjutsu onto the opponent with the distraction. Maybe a flash or spark could draw the eyes to your illusion. Once you do so, you use your chakra to alter their visual perception and cause them to see double. This is like a stepping stone into genjutsu."

Description: This is a simple genjutsu that causes the opponent to see doubles of everything.

Mifune smiled happily it was finally time to get to work learning some jutsu. He first needed to get his cousin's attention since it would be his cousin that would be the one Mifune would be practicing them on. He said a spark or a flash. Well flaming kunai would do the trick. He pulled a kunai from his holster on his right hip and spun it in on his pointer finger before catching it. He formed a single handsign and then ignited the Kunai. He chuckled as he spun if rapidly directly in his cousins line of sight. He had to see it weather he wanted to or not human eyes were attracted to motion. He then let go of the kunai as it flew upward. Hopefully his cousin would follow the kunai as he formed yet another handsign as he maneuvered his chakra into his cousin's brain and attempted to alter his vision to make it appear as if two flaming kunai were now falling to the ground. Once it landed he released the jutsu and said," Well did it work cousin?"

Nexus' abilities of perception were enough to see Mifune's intentions. And, as the sensei in this scenario, Nexus would allow himself to be the target for the genjutsu. Nexus watched as Mifune began to spin around. It then that Mifune tossed a flaming kunai into the air and then felt the chakra being pressed into his head from Mifune's trick. Everything in Nexus' field of vision seemed to have a copy of it that split from the original form. He watched the two, duplicate kunai fall to the ground and looked up at his two, duplicate cousins. "Very good. I'm not much of a genjutsu user, but I can vouch that you did it right." As Nexus was released from the illusion, he pulled out his paper of genjutsu. "The next one that you will be learning is the Fake Blood Technique. You use your chakra to create an illusion of a wound on the opponent's body. Now, my advice to you is to use this genjutsu while striking an opponent with some sort of weapon or jutsu and then use the illusion to create the same type of wound they would receive if they were hit by your attack. An example would be a sword strike. If you cut at the opponent and they dodge, this technique will make them think that they took the hit and didn't even realize it. Again, this is merely a stepping stone and will hard to master."

I'm not telling you how exactly I want you to train, but I'm giving you examples of how to use these in a real fight with someone else. You can always use my ways of using this genjutsu for your training, but you can further your own skill development with genjutsu by getting creative with how you use it. It always helps to get creative when you do mind tricks, so do your best in this training.]
Ikamono Chishio (Fake blood)
Type: Distraction
Description: This genjutsu can create fake blood and wounds on the user’s body to fool the enemy that he/she is wounded. The illusion is only visual; it cannot trick the sense of smell. Can only create one wound per rank.
