Jakiel stared up at the ceiling of the greenhouse, thinking about what just happened. So that's what it's like... Strike that off my list. He raised a hand to Alex's head and pet it gently. "... ...You okay?" Though, I should really be asking my self that. I just stole Alex away from someone. Oh well...it won't matter once I've become a zombie anyway... Ah, wait. I did tell Alex I'd give up if he found a way to convince me to stay...I wonder, was this it? Or do I need something more?
Zeke leaned back and stretched from studying. Looking up at his clock, he noticed that it was really late. "Ugh...I better sleep or I'll be too tired in class tomorrow." He closed his notebook and stood. I wonder...is Alex getting along fine over there? Perhaps...I should go visit him when break comes around? Yes! I'll surprise him! He smiled at the thought as he got ready for bed.

"I'm fine..that was just amazing." Alex said softly smiling. "We should go to own houses. that way we don't get in trouble." alex said with a light yawn.

Jakiel looked over at Alex. "That's good." Then he sat up and retrieved their clothes. "Yeah. That would be for the best." He got dressed and handed Alex his clothes. "I'll walk you back halfway. Freaks walk the streets this time of night alot. I'm okay since I'm a freak myself, but you're too fresh." He helped Alex up.

Alex blushed lightly and got dressed. "thank you Jakiel. For everything." Alex said smiling. Alex smiled and walked out the dor. He shivered lightly as a wind blew.

Jakiel grabbed one of his lab coats and walked outside. He put the coat around Alex's shoulders, before locking the greenhouse doors. "I know now...what'll convince me to not become a zombie, Alex-san..." He whispered into the other's ear when he finished.

Jakiel looked down at the arm that was suddenly around him, before accepting it. "I want to perform an impossible experiment. I...want to create a plant that's born of a human. And then, takes on the form of that human. Once grown to a certain age, it's in perfect health, and thus can be used to cure the human of anything. Whether it's a genetic problem or limb-loss. But...I can't perform such a thing on myself. I need a subject..." He fell silent, wondering if Alex was catching on.

Jakiel nodded silently. "Though, I would have prefered a female, but if it works with a male, then it'll be two breakthroughs. Also...if you want...the plant can be your stand-in. That is...if you ever wanted to escape..." He fell silent again, continuing to walk. This is stupid. No one would agree to something so crazy...and possible impossible after all...

Jakiel went over his notes mentally and then nodded his head in understanding. "Just the extraction phase. However, that can be bypassed with morphine. So...most likely, just a sting. After all, I'll have to cut you open." He looked at Alex. "Again, I re-state that I have no desire to hurt others, thus, I'l make thigns as painless as possible. If it appears that your life may be in danger, I'll stop the experiment immediately." He then looked back forward. As if he'll actually agree. The idea is crazy to even me. But...if I can safely create a plant that can mimic another human using their DNA... Just imagine the number of lives that can be saved. And that could've been saved... His eyes took on a dark hue. Mitsuki...I'll make you proud...
