 'I...I dunno what to say,' Asphyxia admitted, still gaping at her mother. 'Is D-...my father around here somewhere as well?'  'Ahh...no. He doesn't agree with the resistance,' Kelissa said. She decided to break the awkward silence that had descended over the two by addressing MK. 'So what help do you both hope to bring to the resistance?'

 Hmm...? Oh, well... I've a power of sorts. Knocked out one guardian, and brought an elder to his knees. *he scratched at the back of his head, wondering if this was really the time to try to explain Origin to them*~AMK

'Watching him fight's pretty scary. If you're the enemy, anyway,' Asphyxia added. She looked crestfallen at learning that her birth father cared not for the resistance, though tried her best to hide it. 'Not from around here, but already one-upped two Guardians? Certainly a promising start.' She looked over the pair's shoulders, upon hearing more footsteps drawing closer.

 'Not intruding, we hope...' Two more men, dressed as Guardians entered, glancing around. The one who spoked raised an eyebrow at the defensive MK, before holding his hands up.  'We heard there was a resistance here,' his companion added. 'You don't already have too many people, do you?' 'There is always room for people who want to help change the way things are run here,' Kelissa said, choosing her words carefully. She eyed the newcomers with a faint look of suspicion that she did not give either MK or Asphyxia.

'You too,' one of the Guardians replied, as the other caught sight of Asphyxia. 'A woman in Guardian gear? Surely I'm not the first to comment on what a bold, if not outright crazy move that is,' he said, as Asphyxia simply shrugged her shoulders, looking a little intimidated.

'Good idea,' Asphyxia agreed. 'My friend and I will stay up a little longer; we haven't travelled far enough to be sufficiently tired,' he said, before surreptitiously whispering a few words to his comrade. 'Get the girl.'

*MK looked down the tunnel nearest where Kelissa was seated, and noticed a room full of unused beds*Looks like I'll be going this way, so long as I'm not needed? ~AMK

'Yes, that's right. I think I'll stay up a little longer myself, though,' Kelissa replied, before turning to Asphyxia. She placed a careful hand on the girl's shoulder. 'You should go and get rested too. Go with your friend.' 'Shall do,' she said, and gave Kelissa small smile; she found it a little too difficult to refer to this woman she had only just met as "Mum" yet. Turning away, she went through into the next room, to settle down on a bed.

*Feeling that the elder Akumoni Kelissa had things under control, MK entered in as well, dropping face first onto a nearby mattress, finally then just wondering how he should sleep in this form*~AMK

 Asphyxia carefully placed her helmet down out of the way, before peeling off the rest of her armour. She laid down on her back, staring up at the ceiling. Kelissa kept a steady gaze on the two new Guardians, and sat back down in her seat.
'So,' she began, trying to spark a conversation with the men.
