Laz painfully fought the controls, the ships engines on full as he tried to get them away from the rip in space-time. The Chiropteras engines were glowing red hot as he funneled all availible energy into them, yet it still wasn't enough.

- Hey a*****e, try a gravity boost, you know- a slingshot manuever

- SHUT UP Kest'ak'ain!-

The AI was still in his cage, but he could still communicate with his host, who was not in the mood to listen. Kest'ak'ain subsided with a sigh, and laz fluffed his fur out as he tried everything he could. Reluctantly, he admited Ket'ak'ains idea might be the only thing that would work. He hauled around the stick, and the ship, shivering in the gravity waves from the tear, pointed her blunt prow towards the rippling, colorful, deadly tear. Laz watched as the ships speed increased insanely fast, until they were going nearly a thousand kilometers a hour- in atmosphere.

The shields screamed a alert out, and he knew that the hull was begining to glow from friction. He saw plates sheding droplets of molten alloy, and he franticly tilted the ships nose up. instantly, the hull integrity warnings from the prow armor vanished, to be replaced by damage alert warnings from the wings- with a bigger surface area, the wings were getting more friction, and he snapped a glance out at the port wing, seeing 'feathers' of metal shedding off the wings. He returned his attention to the rip.

waited....waited....waited....Now!

He jerked the stick up, and the ship roared over the tear, her immense inertia sufficiant to get them clear. He blew out a breath, and lay off the engines when the gravitational fields of the tear suddenly intesified. Laz hit the cocpit canopy as the ship went form nearly nine hundred kilometers a hour to around two hundred- in reverse. the inertial dampeners couldn't componsate for such a dratic change in velocity, and everyone inside- including him- got thrown forward. He pulled himself off the deck and struggled back into the pilots seat as the ship was dragged, tail first, into the tear. Laz roared in anger as nothing he did made a difference.

then they went through.

Dimitris's body began stirring several minutes after being returned, dazed he rose to his feet and looked about getting his senses. "Uhnn... my head hurts. And from the looks of it everyone else does too." He went over and propped Rocky up into a seat fastening his seat belt. "Owe you two when you wake up."

The golden kitsune immediately braced herself on her chair with the others as things began to heat up, as mayhem roared she arched her head up against the violent jerks and swirves of the Chiroptera to focus on what was in motion outside.
She beheld a bright flare of lights as the outside frame of the ship was being 'dissolved' under their speed, hurling out of control as they were swallowed into the revolving portal of the unkown.
Renamon closed her eyes tightly moments before they had entered inside, a warped tunnel of blue mosiac wrapped around them, penetrating through it's vast space and debree it had swallowed up along with them.

It was a very scary ride, being occasionally knocked off course against the remains of the fierce leviathans and their scraps of steel, she turned her face away from the window, having enough panic fuel for the moment and kept her eyes shut.
But something had gotten her attention with an unfitting sound amoung the alarms, strange digits began to flood on the ship's control screen; flickering as if it had a mind of it's own.

While she tried to make sense of what was going on inside the ship, an active figure slowly slithered towards them on it's side from the rubble. A battle damaged leviathan had set on colliding itself towards the ship, speeding towards them alarmingly.

Laz coughed, blood bubbling at the corner of his beak as he sunk talons into the chair to reach the controls. The 'tunnel' through which they traveled had tossed them all about, and he'd been thrown into a portruding equipment rack. He held a hand to his belly as he tapped commands into the controls, and the much-abused Chiroptera rolled onto her back( at least, it would have been if there was a 'up or 'down here, at any rate) and the bay doors blew open. Within, the sleek shapes of several missiles could be seen, their nose cones glowing. one of the missiles suddenly went active, its nose cone brightening, just as a hydraulic ram thrust it out of its cradel and into the distorted space of the portals tunnel.The missile immediatly locked on, its engine fired, and it streaked towards its target.


Laz hit the panel as a shockwave struck them, heeling the ship completly over. Behind them, a massive cloud of excited molecules and materials expanded, glowing a riot of reds and oranges, before slowly dissapating. He clung on, leaving gouges in the metal, and collapsed into the pilots chair as the Chiroptera compensated and stabilized. The sensors pinged as they detected the end point of the portal, and Laz coughed more blood up as he fellinto unconciousness.

The suicide Leviathan shreiked and wriggled in pain as flames flurried its body intensley, red hot explosions blossomed over it's body and face, tossing it aside like a rag-doll against the digital wall of the tunnel; obliterated into a compisition of steel and smoke.

The explosion was so massive in force it had propelled the Chiroptera's speed by it's wings alarmingly fast like a bullet, shifting down the binary coded pathway as they jostled through debree in quick turns and close collosions against the walls. As they were darting towards the concave exit Renamon managed to spot an image of Hoboken on the wall, glittered in digits, as the exit too sprawled out line of binary code to wrap around the ship. Everything inside was covered in these streams of data as they finally pierced through the exit, a thick white mist greeting their depature into another environment.

"Ngh...we have made it through..thank goodness." She lowered her guard after everything had fallen silent...for once, releived that everybody had made it through in one piece, and released her grip of the side of her chair to observed what has come of their ship, and 'where' they were by the window.

"I can't see anything..." She said with her eyes watching carefully out from the windowpane, as faint dark shapes passed them from underneath. "Are those what I think they are?..." The kitsune observed more closley with a light smile, for she discovered that they weren't in some strange space or dimension...but clouds, they had escaped from the assault of the Trine without harm.

Yet their peace was short lived, as they travled low into a pocket of air beneath the clouds they began to decend, plummeting down towards the direction of nearby land, dominated by a thick lush of forests.

"Ugh...My head hurts...Woah, where's the gravity?! Guys...? What's going o- oh my god!" Rocky quickly took off his harness and hauled tail to the cockpit. "What happened to Laz?...Nevermind! We don't have time!" Rocky placed a paw on Laz's forehead andclosed his eyes, reading his mind and getting all of the knowledge he needed to save them. Standing behind the seat, he reached over and swiftly keyed in a few commands and a red button emerged from the arm of the driver's seat. Rocky swiftly punched the button and the plane jerked and slowed drasticly. "Emergency parachutes...I guess." With a sight chuckle, Rocky plopped onto the floor, clutching his head. "Uh, I don't suppose anyone would hahve some Ibuprofen, would you? Hehe..."

Unknown to most on the ship, the crackle that could be heard through the hull was not the crackle of branches breaking against the ship; it was, instead, the sound of the ships guns firing into the trees below in order to carve out a landing site. The ships AI would have used a 'Daisy Cutter' bomb to do this in one blast, but unfortunatly, it had not had any loaded when Laz had jacked it. It could use one of the remaining missiles in its belly bay, but it had gotten too low to use one with any degree of safety; If it fired one, the blast would consume them as well as any landing zone.

Beneath the ship, as little boosters built into the backside of its wings fired steadily to bring their speed down, the forest burned from the steady bombardment of shells and energy. Detecting it was at a optimum altitude, it dropped a concussion warhead, and easily componsated for the shockwave of the exploding bomb. the bomb was not intended to clear their landing zone, but it did a okay job of blowing away most debris, in addition to snuffing out the burning fires.

The ship popped landing gear, a alarm sounding as the aft port set failed to deploy, but it continued anyway as the temperature in its engines, which had been hovering in the amber 'warning' area abruptly spiked into red, warning of impending overload. The ship settled onto her gear, the non-functional set making her tilt at a ten degree angle, then her smoking engines coughed and died. The computer shut down everything that could cause a problem, then popped the hatch.
