It seemed that not crying at all was too much to ask...
"you have nothing to apologise for, it was my own... incompetence... I truly should have realised Dimentio would try to strike my weakest spot, like to coward he is.." he said, apparently not noticing the fact that several other people were in the room, including Dimentio.
He held Timpani tighter, like he could hold her like that forever, and that could stop Dimentio from ever taking her again- it was wishful thinking, really...

"But still.....I was the one who got kidnapped..." Timpani pulled her arms back and to her face to wipe her tears away, hoping that Blumiere would still hold on to her-while she wasn't.

Merlon and Mario stood there, happily watching the scene and fighting the urge to burst out crying. Merlon was just silently glad Timpani was happy and free. He hoped that his marriage would be this close.
A sniff came from Mario's direction. He had just given into the urge.

"And I was the one that was sworn to protect you- the fault is entirely mine, my love, don't ruin your perfection with false accusations. I-" he was still holding her close, when a sniff from Mario's direction snapped him out of his intoxication.
Ah yes- saving the world- he'd forgotten...
"just, please, stop blaming yourself for my own faults.." he finished, releasing her, and holding her hands in his own.
He snapped out of this.. again at O'Chunks yelling.
He, with quite a lot of hesitation, let go of Timpani, turned around, and adjusted his monocle. "Yes, but of course, thankyou O'Chunks."
It seemed saving the world wouldn't wait for a happy reunion any time soon...

Timpani, with one last sniff said, "Alright, my love..." She was a little upset that Blumiere let go of her-but yes...there was the worlds to save.

argh- now he wanted to hold Timpani again... not to mention the fact that if he wasn't as close, he might find himself incapable of protecting her... again...
Finally, he took in his surroundings... what?!? no- it wasn't.. Nastasia!?!
"N-Nastasia..?" he asked, his voice the perfect blend of sadness, horror and injury- had she been working for Dimentio all along? had that act of self sacrifice really just been.. to gain his trust..?
"has she been.. all along..?" he asked no-one in particular, sadly.

Oh, Blumiere.... Timpani wasn't too sure on how to reply to Blumiere's shock. "...I..think she was jealous of us, and looked out Dimentio in revenge..." She was able to say.

"..." every word hurt- he'd figured it out a while ago, but- hearing Timpani say it only made it that much worse.
"Nastasia..?" he asked, then turned his head away- no- it hurt too much- argh- why was this happening to him?!?
"I am an ignorant fool.." he said, sadly, despair seeping into his tone- a kind that not even the presence of his beloved could banish.

Timpani put a hand on Blumiere's back and rubbed it make and forth-trying to comfort him. "...I'm....sorry Blumiere, but it wasn't your fault." Timpani said.

Blumiere winced "don't lie.." he said, softly, to Timpani- he was shattered, and, being the cowardly person he was, when it came to feelings, was out the door with a sweep of his cape, hoping Timpani wouldn't follow his- he didn't want her to see him in such a state. A broken heart... he'd done something awful- and for once, he didn't care about what others thought- however would he be able to forgive himself?
((*is really bored* bleh.. >.< *gets out ds* *waits, whilst trying to find something good on bored.com* *decides to make massive overreaction* bwahaha...))

Timpani winced, "What I mean is that, how where you suppose to know that she'd look out Dimentio.....It was impossible to know..." Timpani hated Blumiere-her happiness in life, feeling so sad.

"Impossible is nothing to do with it.." said Blumiere, sadly- from what he'd learned- nothing was impossible- what had once been an uplifting fact, killing him with depression.

Timpani sighed. Blumiere wasn't letting it be easy for her to help him. She took her hand off of Blumiere's back, giving up wasn't the best option but it was the only one. "........"
