Tokemaru's face went red and he scratched the back of his head. It was true that he had been doing his best to keep things as stable as possible ever since Meaura was founded by Dakota.
"Heheheh, thanks Kilala, I really appreciate that." Tokemaru smiled happily at Kilala, things like that were all it took to make his day. For some reason, it felt even better coming from Kilala. Still, she was right, there was only so much Tokemaru could do. Even with the speed he had acquired while training, he couldn't be everywhere at once.
Suddenly, he herd a voice that still stirred up mixed emotions in him. He looked over his shoulder and saw Dakota, his biological father, standing behind him. Even though it had been two years, Tokemaru still had great difficulty accepting the fack that they were fleash and blood, thus their relationship was shaky at times.
"Hi...Dakota, I just finished stopping another fight from starting."

"Ah, oh well, racial tensions will eventually calm down. Most of the shinigami and Hollow accept eachother, but, as you know, there will always be some who can't. Now it's okay to think that way, but violence is not." He ruffled Tokemaru's hair and kept walking putting his seconf hand on the ciggar taking it out as if he needed to take a breath of air. It was a lot of stress running a country, that's why Dakota smoked Ciggars. It was amazing how his stress turned to charisma though. He then put it back in his mouth and took a puff, as that smoke left his mouth, he shunpoed right infront of the trouble causing shinigami. "You," he said speaking to the group, "you can think whatever the hell you want, just don't go acting on some stupid urge to make your race seem better. Now, I want all of you to work in the mines for one day, that, or get out."
The group knew that outside the town was basically a death sentence so they grudgingly walked to the mine reclamation center where they got equipment. Mines usually dangerous but Dakota has gotten it so that there has only been three casualties and that was only during it's contruction. It was very safe and the boys would probaly learn a lesson.
After that, he kept walking as if nothing, he had to be serious in times now. It's fun to be the nice guy, but when dealing with problems, a joke won't cut it if it doesn't only affect you. He kept walking and stopped puffing a huge puff of smoke that seemed to be endless for a moment, it was quickly followed with a sigh. But his frustration was quickly followed by that same grin.

Kilala smiled at tokemaru "im only telling the truth. If we had more dedicated shinigami as you we would better off..." She then saw what Captain Dakota was doing and turned slightly placing her hand on her hip and said with concern "i wish he wouldnt smoke those..there very bad for him..." She then sighed and turned back to tokemaru "so what are your plans today master Tokemaru.."

Tokemaru looked over at his father and frowned, Kilala was right about that. But there wasn't much they could do about it. It was a lost cause and a waste of time. Tokemaru looked back at Kilala and shrugged helplessly.
"Yeah, but there's nothing anyone can do about that. And no I don't have much planned for today, I was just taking a stroll."

Kage yawned as usal, the day for her had just started and she walked into the sunlight for the first time that day. She was wearing a purple kimono, with pink flowers on it. Kage took a pack of cigarettes out of her pocket, and took out a match. She cupped her hands around the tip of it, to light it. She left the front porch of her house and walked towards Tokemaru and Kilala. She pulled out the cigarette and puffed out a puff of smoke towards the two and said "Godmorning Toke, and Kilala. How has the morning gone on for you two?" She put the cigarette back in her mouth and continued to smoke it.

Kilala smiled and bowed "hello mistress Kage..Ive been doing fine i just saw a disburence so i followed master Tokemaru here to where we are now." she said with a smile and then she contuined "what about you mistress kage?? how was your moarning?"

Tokemaru waved at Kage as she approached.
"Hi Kage, I gust stopped another fight," He tilted his head to the side when he noticed the cigarette in Kage's mouth, "I didn't know you smoked."

Dakota began to walk back after dealing with the trouble and approuched the group again. With him and Kage's smoke together, they would probaly start coughing since Dakota tended not to smoke around Tokemaru. So, he dropped it and stepped on it.
He looked over at Kilala and gentally smacked the back of her head. "Stop saying master to everyone, I'll put you in chains and sell you if you keep acting like a slave girl." he said quickly looking back up, then at his son. "Damn... how could I have missed it...?" He pondered to himself as he scratched his head.

Kilala felt the smack and just stared at the ground "I'm sorry m-m-m- i mean kota...." she said as she just stood there waiting for her captain answer Tokemaru's question that was directed towards her.

Kage looked at Tokemaru and took the cigarette out of her mouth and blew it behind her, so that she wouldn't be rude. Then she put it out on the ground like Dakota had and said "I don't smoke often, but i am the one that got Dakota into smoking." Then she looked at Dakota and said, "Missed what?"

Chaos walks over to Kage and the others while holding his zanpakuto across both shoulders and each arm hanging on both ends of the his zanpakuto then he sees Tokemaru "Hi Tokemaru, how you been?" he ask with his calm and friendly tone of voice.

Chaos gave Tokemaru a small but friendly smile while walking closer to them, once he got to them Chaos was shirtless reveling battle scars all over his body but the scars that stand out the most are the two scars on his chest that is diagonal and intersects each other to form a "X" and the other scar that goes diagonal across his face also some tattoos going down both of his arms "I am fine as well thanks for asking Tokemaru, but you can just call me Ace ok Tokemaru" he said with a friendly tone of voice.

Tokemaru nodded his head, his smile unchanged. Tokemaru did his best to avoid looking at Chaos's scars but the young captain had always been curious about how he got them.
"Alright Ace, I'll do that."

Altera walks into the village and looks around. Seems peaceful. for now she thinks as she walks around in her kimono with her sword at her side.
