Ethan got up and stopped her pacing. "Some people don't want fame. I know many demigods who were really famous but then there is some that want to live normal lives. And some of us have powers here that aren't normal."

She still wouldn't look at him. "then why can't we tell anyone about who we really are? Like about are godly parents."

"If I told my friends that I was a demigod do you really think I would seem sane? Most people wouldn't believe us especially because of the mist. I know you don't understand why we have to keep it a secret but there is a reason." Ethan told her, softly.

She tried to get away from in frustration. "then what is it!? What's the reason!?" she asked.

"Do you really think that if we went somewhere and told someone that we were a demigod that they would believe us? We'd probably be thrown into an insane asylum or something. We don't stay at camp to hide from the rest of the world but to be protected from monsters and to learn about who we are and to train to be able to protect ourselves. If you really think that camp is a hiding place then you can leave because it's not. You can go out and tell anyone you want that you are a demigod nut no one will believe you." Ethan said to her, frustrated.

"fine! Maybe I will leave!"she yelled in his face. "Forget this place and forget you!" she yelled still trying to get away.

Emily's eyes began to tear up as she sank to her knees with arms wrapped around her. "I-I'm sorry! I-I didn't m-mean it!" she stammered.

Ethan sat down, in front of Emily, and looked at her. "I know you didn't, Emily. You were just mad." He said to her. Ethan didn't know if she wanted space or not so he just sat there just in case she did.

Emily threw herself at him, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I'm so sorry can you ever forgive me?" she asked crying into his chest.

Emily pulled back a Lilly and kissed his cheek. "thank you, Ethan," she said tears still running down her face.

Ethan took his hand and wiped away her tears. "You're welcome." He replied and kissed her softly on the lips.
