Cypress had been completely passed out on a cot in the corner since the incident with Amber, but she woke up when Will left.
"Mnn... nnn... neh..?" She slowly sat up and rubbed at her eyes. Damn, that was a good nap. She crossed her legs and looked about in an attempt to process what Will had said to her. She noticed the red soul wobbling in the air next to her. Oooh.
She waved over to Seven and Rydel from her bed. "What 'bout the soul..?" She asked, voice still thick with sleep, "D'you want it, or should I?"
She hesitantly grabbed it out of the air. It was... squishy; sort of like a warm cream puff, which made it less disgusting to think about eating.

Seven and Rydel both looked up from their conversation at the word ‘soul’. Oh, the soul! The prize! Seven grinned, running toward Cypress.
“OOOH! Yeah, totally! We want—“ She began. Oddly enough, Rydel cut her off. He put out and arm to stop her from pile-driving Cypress and snatching the soul from her, which he was sure she would have done otherwise.
He looked at Cypress.
“It’s yours, Cypress. You and Will did better on this mission than we did. Seven and I would prefer if you took the soul.” He said plainly.
Seven frowned, but nodded after a moment.
“…I guess he’s right.”
“I usually am.”
“True. But I have pink hair. It makes your argument invalid.”

Me name's Will Grady.....Wilhelmina Grady Will just stood there, listening but not hearing anything.
She was waiting on Cypress. She was still fuzzy-headed and would probably need help finding their appartment.
If her confusion wasn't throwing her off enough, there was the fatigue and the thoughts those nightmares always brought. Will had the hand that wasn't on the doorknob in her pocket, gripping her lighter..... her late brother's old lighter.
.....can ye point me to a pub?

 Cypress's head finally cleared up. She'd always been an early riser, so waking up, even after all of that wasn't too hard. ...Though she still would've liked to have slept a little longer.
"Uh, th-thank you!" She looked from Seven to Rydel and back again and smiled genuinely, but with a slight, anxious edge. "Um... so I just... eat it?" She squished the small orb in her hands a couple times. It was about the size of an apple and, well, soft. Would it be like eating a big marshmallow? She made the mistake of remembering that horrible kishin the soul once belonged too. Ugh. She'd be eating that??
With a grimace, she looked down at the soul and shoved it into her face. May as well get it over with.
To her surprise, Cypress somehow managed to eat the whole thing in one bite, without even chewing. It kind of just... did its own thing; naturally. It didn't even taste like anything. If there was any doubt she was a demon weapon, it was immediately dispelled.
There was a strong pulse that shook Cypress to her core. Her eyes widened at the bolt that went through her. She looked up, wondering why no one else felt that split-second earthquake. All of a sudden, she wasn't tired at all anymore. In fact, she could run a marathon! No--a triathlon! NO! WORLD TOUR! LET'S GO--
and the rush left. That was crazy... Cypress blinked. She could get used to this.
She would've started giggling, but looked up and saw Will looking a little out of sorts. Now that she was wide awake and fully-lucid, she leaped out of bed and trotted over to her partner's side.
"Th-Thank you!" she called back to Rydel and Seven, though this time she stuttered out of distraction rather than hesitation as she motioned to Will that they'd be leaving. She seemed disoriented, either physically or mentally and Cypress wanted to make sure they'd get back home alright.
"We're going back to the house, alright?" she murmured to Will. She knew her partner wouldn't want her to make a big deal worrying over her.

 Sousuka SakaiSousuka Nodded. "Yeah And I take it that Death's way won't have a side effect..." She smiled and noted the injection into amber. "so you drug her in case of being reported or something?" She laughed and moved her hair out of her face with her hand. "so aperantly I have amnesia?" Her expression grew serious. "I don't think any magic was related to that...I think it might have been brutality"

Me name's Will Grady.....Wilhelmina Grady Will nodded when her partner spoke. Summoning the little bit of Will Grady that could surface she turned to Seven and Rydel and said with a pretty weak and obviously forced grin, "Naice faightin' wit' ye.... A'll.... see ye 'roond."
But as soon as she turned back to the door and exited, she immediately reverted to the Will Grady that blamed herself and suffered from insomnia.
.....can ye point me to a pub?

Once outside with Will, Cypress followed beside her, uncertain how to help. She was tense with both the tangible melancholy and she wanted to be able to catch her partner in case the head wounds started acting up again. She just looked so sad!
Cypress raised a hand, as if to place it on Will's shoulder, but hesitated and eventually lowered it. Every person she'd met since arriving in Death City had been a character at the most basic description and Will was by no means an exception. Cypress just wasn't sure how to deal with this. She sighed herself. By being "normal", she was really an outsider, wasn't she? She couldn't even help her partner. Hell, they wouldn't have even won that fight if it hadn't been for Will.
Now Cypress was feeling terrible. She missed her siblings. Tiercel could help. He was great with people. Meanwhile, Cypress Borden followed silently beside Will Grady.
((Go ahead and travel wherever you'd like.))

"I never said anything about being reported," said Toppan as she began taking something from her cabinet, "That's the least of my concerns here. I'm just trying to do my job. Make a good honest living..."
"Oh! And Cypress! Will!" she called, handing something to Cypress before she left, "Make sure you give these to Will when she comes to. These are doxylamine succinate pills. They help with insomnia. Tell her to take at least 1 every night, and make sure to drink it with lots of alcohol. Works better that way."
It was an orange, plastic basin, filled with multicolored pills of all sorts, and labeled with Will's name and Toppan's name on the front.
"Take care, dears. Have a nice day. And please, look after her, will you?"

 Amber Daigun"Hey, if something looks too good to be true...""...You should shoot it in the head, just to be sure..."As the shot Amber was given began to take effect, Amber looked around, confused as to why she had the shot in the first place. She couldn't quite remember, but she guessed it didn't matter, the nurse was nice enough to fix her up! Now all that was on her mind was helping her new partner return to her original form. "Thanks...nurse...Toppan..."Amber didn't understand it, but for some reason her throat felt kind of tight, and she had a hard time talking. Also, she felt really thirsty. "Sousuka...we should...get going...to...see this...death...guy...right away..."Amber did want to help her partner out, but she also wanted to do it for another reason. The quicker she was heald, the sooner Amber got a usable weapon! She had already met two people she would have fought if she had the means to, and once Sousuka was normal, she'd be able to! Plus, there was the whole fighting kishin thing too...

Sousuka SakaiSousuka scratched her head. "Yeah I guess we should...this is gonna be interesting..." She took note of amber's reaction to the shot and smiled. "Wonder what else will be in store for me." Sousuka looked at toppan. "Your medical procedures are questionable but there is no doubt they work... somehow...." She shrugged and turned to her partner. "shall we leave?"

Amber Daigun"Hey, if something looks too good to be true...""...You should shoot it in the head, just to be sure..."Maybe it was because she was spoiled and usually got what she wanted quickly, or maybe it was just because she wanted to have her weapon so she could teach people like the irish girl and those two boys in that movie theater classroom a lesson. But she was eager to get going. She grabbed Sousuka's hand and started heading to the door. She gave the girl a look, saying 'lets get to this already!'. She would have just said it, but talking was still something that seemed difficult to do for the moment. She didn't understand how, but she blamed the Irish girl for it. Trying to put it out of her mind, she headed with Sousuka out of the nurse's office and towards this death guy...hopefully. She still didn't really grasp the layout of this place, and she still hadn't been given a guided tour...

We're back!"It was clear to see that Amber was overjoyed in the fact that she now had a weapon. She had a bright smile plastered on her face as she lead Sousuke around by the arm. "We went to see Death, and he fixed Sousuke, see? So now he can turn into his weapon form! Well, sorry to bother you again, but before you said something about a mission, right? Well Sousuke and I want to take it so we can get used to working together and stuff! Plus...I'll finally get to shoot stuff!"Amber obviously didn't remember what happened the last time she burst into Toppan's office being loud and annoying, but it was Toppan that had made her forget

"Ahh, Amber," smiled Toppan as she turned her chair around and smiled, "There you are. Nice to see that you're back. Can I help you dear?"
She was in a much better mood now that there weren't as many people for her to help let alone injured and sick ones at that, so she was pretty confident that she'd be able to help Sousuke (err... Was that 'Sally'?) and Amber find a mission.
"A mission you say? Oh, well... Let's see here..." she said, getting out a clipboard as she flipped through the papers and kicked her feet against her desk.
"... There's the Harps Brothers. Though, in all honesty, their not really brothers. Research and records tell me their cousins. They like to travel out on the road alot, and that's where they like to kill their latest victims. They start by emptying out the thoracic or abdominal cavity of all organs, eating them before eating the victim's soul, and replacing them with heavy stones for the corpse to sink down in a river or lake nearby. This mission hardly calls for anything serious, though. We've already marked their location; they seem to be hiding out near Dixon and Pond River in western Muhlenberg County, Kentucky."
She then looked up from her papers and bit down on her lollipop as she uncrossed her legs and stared back at her two patie--I mean, students before letting go of the lollipop and smiling,
"Do you want this mission? Or do you want something a bit more... 'Challanged' than this one?"

No help or anything?"Amber was silent for a few seconds, her face seeming completely blank. It was hard to tell exactly what she was thinking. Maybe she was afraid. But that theory was quickly thrown out the window when she spoke again. "Wohoo! We get to go on a mission all by ourselves! Nurse Toppan, you're the greatest! Don't worrym we won't let you down! We'll find these Harps non-brothers and put a bullet in each of their heads!"She was definitely looking forward to this; her first mission, a chance to fight to her heart's content. She didn't seem to be grasping the idea that she herself coul get hurt doing this, though...
