"Thats horrible," Jinx replied, the truth was she actually touchered her victims before killing them, she found pleasure in watching and listening to them scream in pain.

"What makes you say that?" Jinx asked

Meanwhile, beneath Bryce's ship, a creature detached itself from the hull. It was humanoid, but there most of the similarities with an actual human being ended. Its limbs were long and elongated; its clawed hands and feet webbed; its teeth sharp and jagged beyond even the worst dwarf's gnashers. Its eyes gleamed with an otherworldly malevolence as it withdrew a blood-red crystal from the sack it swam with at its side, made, it would seem, from keipos, a tough, waterproof substance crafted by the Merfolk.

"Mistress," the creature hissed in its own strange and inhuman tongue. "I have located him... the one you seek, who escaped your Blecks in the past..."

The crystal pulsed; a sound emerged which suggested the ruffling of feathers. "You are certain it is him?" The voice was but a whisper, but it still conveyed power and menace far beyond that of the servant's. "Where is he, Jared?"

"A ship travelling to Silmar, mistress," the creature, Jared, proverbially bowed and scraped. "To the Gaians' capital. Shall I intercept him, mistress?"

A dark, triumphant hiss emanated from the crystal. "Yes," the voice crowed, though still restrained in its volume. "At once!"

"As you wish, mistress," Jared answered, grinning broadly as he stowed the crystal back in its pouch. Beneath him, meanwhile, a million tiny eyes lit up in the murky depths of the ocean...

"Oh, really?" Bryce raised an eyebrow and smiled cheekily, bringing his face right up to Jinx's. "And why, I wonder, might that be?"

But sadly, before Jinx could finally lose her virginity, a mighty crash rocked the ship as strange and disturbing gurgling noises started coming up from down the sides. Moments later, a grotesque creature hauled itself over the side right in front of Bryce and Jinx. It had four, gleaming yellow eyes, ripped muscles all over its body and a wide array of deadly claws and teeth. Water dripped in torrents from its scaly blue skin and the fins running down its spine and at its elbows. A long, powerful tongue slicked out around its fish-like lips as it eyed its prey hungrily. Then it fell upon them, aiming for Jinx first it seemed, claws elongating even further as it slashed with bestial speed at her throat.

"Oh dearie me," Alcharius whimpered in fright at the sight.

Jinx looked up at the creature in fight. She wasn't sure if she wanted to run or stay and fight. If she ran then she would have no where to run to, so she decided to stick it out and fight the best she could.

The barbarian, being a very large man, floored the beast aimed for his gut with ease and aimed to stamp on his head and crush it under his brute strength. Luckily the creature attacking him from another direction was shot at by an arrow aimed for the head from an elf posted at the helm of the ship.

Bryce continued running and skidded under the legs of the creature. He quickly put his helmet on and equipped his sword and shield. He held his blade high in the air as it glinted in the sunlight. He used the famed Champion's Battle Cry. "Kill them all! We shall not lose a single soldier to these abominations!" this cry was meant to raise the morale of his crew, who yelled with inspiration, and intimidate his enemies. Bryce took up a battle stance, his shield held in front of him and sword in right hand ready to strike, and ran forward into battle.

As Bryce rushed the creature in front of him, it crouched into a fighting pose, hissing, then, as he got close, suddenly whipped its tail out, trying to trip Bryce up and leave him at the creature's mercy.

The one Jinx struck fell with a gurgle, but just as it went down it suddenly spat up a green, bile-like substance which landed only just short of Jinx's feet and began to hiss away at the deck acidicly. Fortunately, the creature didn't make any more such eruptions before its death.
