B o m b s.
It was the w i c k e d and w i l d wind
Blew down the doors to let me in
S h a t t e r e d windows and the s o u n d of drums
People couldn't believe what I'd become
R e v o l u t i o n a r i e s wait
For my H E A D on a silver plate
Just a puppet on a L O N E LY string
Oh who would ever want to be king?
I hear Jerusalem b e l l s a ringing
Roman Cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My m i s s i o n a r i e s in a f o r e i g n field
For some reason I can't explain
I know Saint Peter won't call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world ♥

Just a fragment.
Liliya forced a laugh. Just a soft one which quickly ran off into a silence.
There was a slight hope within Liliya that she could even replace Kārlis with Žanete but these hopes were quickly fading and being extinguished by each word the girl before her uttered. Liliya ran her fingers through the girl's soft blonde hair - she was choking inside but she kept up the plastic smile flawlessly.
"But of course I knew that already. Now Latvia - Kārlis - " The real Latvia. "Because he's left me, does not mean I won't still do my best to protect him and all he loved."
Liliya rose and pulled her lead pipe up with her, raising her voice as she spoke more directly to the rest of the group.
"We leave in an hour. I have some matters I need to sort out first. Check on the others in the infirmary and see if they are fit enough to join us. We're all going and they shall have to cope, somehow."
Liliya's imperfect smile grew as she titled her head in a coy manner and waved before skipping off insied the building until she found a darkened and quiet room - further from the others. A place in secret where she could continue her plans.
