Gitano smiled at Ashii's guesture of sympathy and shook away the memories. He nodded at the other's statement. "I have faith in Usagi, but trust is one thing that is hard to earn and easily lost."
He matched Ashii's gaze, "And should the majority say to let Lady Suzuka find out on her own or that we tell her without the help of the letter I will keep my mouth shut."

Korsu's eye's brightened as he grinned and carefully grabbed her hand. "You'll love them!" he said excitedly as he lightly pulled/ led her through the mansion to outside. "They have loads of flowers in them. Lots of different specimens. Very pretty." he said, looking over his shoulder to her.

Arisu nodded. "Of course I'll come. Our future, and possibly our lives, are on the line," she said.
((Hey, if we decide to give Suzuka the letter, the vampires should all come up with how her grandfather met them and PM them to her. And, even if we decide to tell her, we're still going to need to think of our reasons.))

Therin nodded. "It's true. There's a lot riding on the events of the next few days. All we can do is try our best and trust in Usagi's wisdom."
Despite her sudden melancholy, Suzuka couldn't help smiling at Korsu's enthusiasm. She let herself be pulled along behind the boy. "So, who takes care of the garden? Is it anyone in particular, or does everyone chip in?"

"Well it's mostly anyone who happens to be there when they need something extra. I pull weeds when I see them appear and we all chip in to keep them watered and healthy." Korsu said, leading her out a door. Walking down a few steps, he paused and breathed in deeply, taking in the scents of the flowers. "Here we are!" he said, pointing to the garden and flowers.

"Yes, and hope Suzuka understands the situation we're in and is sympathetic towards us," Arisu said. She knew the humans would not hesitate to kill them if they were forced to leave the mansion. Their lives were literally in Suzuka's hands.

Suzuka followed Korsu out the door and down the steps into the garden. As soon as the door was opened, her nose was flooded with the scent of many different types of flowers. She closed her eyes briefly, taking a few deep breaths and smiling.
When she opened her eyes and looked around, it nearly took her breath away. "Oh! It's so beautiful. And this is in the dark. This place must be amazing in the daytime. I'll have to come back out here tomorrow and see it in the sunlight."
Therin lead the way back to the sitting room where Gitano and Ashii were still talking. "Hello, boys. So have you two come to any conclusions yet?"

Korsu grinned as he saw her reaction to the garden. He slipped away and went through the garden, searching for a specific flower. Once he got to it, he grabbed it, avoiding the thorns, and broke it off midway down the stem. He came back to Suzuka and offered her the flower, a white rose. "Thought you might want a souviner," he said, looking up at her.

Gitano smiled as Therin and Arisu walked towards them. "We've come to no conclusion on what to do with the letter..." he answered, smiling fading a bit.
He pulled out the letter and placed it on the piano between the four of them. "We have conflicting ideas as to how soon we should tell Lady Suzuka. But depending how we vote on this matter, neither of us would complain."
He flipped the letter over and sighed, "If Usagi had closed this letter with a wax seal I would be able to open it without Lady Suzuka know...These modern envelopes are trickier."

Arisu shrugged. "Hey, you're younger than I am. Those envelopes are even worse for me. But as for when to give it to her...I think it would be best to wait for all this shock to diminish a little. The poor girl has already had a life full of surprises," she said.

Thorn was in the living room watching Mtv's music videos . She had the volume up slightly to the sounds of rock music flooded out of the living room. So anyone that was close by would hear rock music.

Suzuka watched curiously as Korsu slipped off on his own. When he came back and handed her the rose, she gasped in happy surprise. "Thank you, Korsu. My goodness, you're a charmer. Not many boys your age are so good with girls. I'll maybe have to hang this upside down later to preserve it." Closing her eyes, she took a sniff, then looked up and smiled at Korsu, holding out her arm. "Well, would you care to show me around, young sir?" she asked with a mock-snooty voice.
Therin considered for a moment. "Hmmm, a day or two might not be bad, but we don't want to risk her thinking that we were lieing or hiding something from her. It's a treacherous tightrope we're walking."
She smiled a bit at Arisu and Gitano's grumblings about modern envelopes. Then an idea struck her. "You know, I've never tried it myself, but I've seen on TV people talking about using steam to covertly open sealed letters..." She shrugged. "Not that I'm suggesting doing anything."
(I just figured something out: some of us older vamps very possibly might not have been born in the States. Assuming that this is set right now (2010), Therin was born in 1523. Arisu in 1474. And Ashii? Who knows! Just an interesting observation)

((Considering that Arisu's name is Japanese, she was probably born in Japan. And I just noticed that Arisu may possibly the oldest vampire, considering we don't know Ashii's real age.))

Korsu gave a short laugh and said, "With the people I live with, it's hard not to pick up some good behavior." He grinned at her, he hadn't had much interaction with other people that the ones in the house and he had to say, this was pretty fun. Though he doubted she would still like him if she found the truth. Then noticing her arm and what she said, he carefully took her arm and said, "Well certainly ma'am. I would love to show you around our humble abode." Unsure of where to start, he simply started by showing her around the garden, showing her the large variety of flowers and where they were located. "We have almost every flower that we could get seeds for. If you name it, we probably have it. Unless ofcourse it's out of season."

Suzuka chuckled. "That's true. I bet Gitano, Therin and Arisu keep you in line, don't they?" She smiled as he lead her through the garden. She couldn't believe this place. It was amazing how many flowers there were here. "This is just incredible. I can't believe that I'd even be in a place like this, much less own one." She shook her head in amazement.
