Brooklyn shied away from Bryan's hand again and backed away from the other team. "J-just." He searched for the words he wanted to use on Bryan and couldn't find them. "Just- ******** off." He said as tears began to fall from his eyes in long running droplets, he threw himself at Bryan, contradicting his words and actions and clinging on to the teen like he would never let go. "Why can't you just leave me alone?"

And who would that eyewitness be? If it's who I think it is, he has a malicious streak in him and has a grudge against me for whatever reason I don't know. I thought he was my friend but-" Kai shrugged. "I guess I was wrong. How can we repent for something we haven't done?" Believe me, Believe me, Believe me he urged silently.

The teachers mouth twisted as she was trying to think of something to say. "How do i know that you aren't the on who is lying?"

Bryan smiled a pulled the other teen against him, moving so that he was leaning up against the wall.
"Because you wouldn't want that."
He rubbed the others back soothingly and sighed. "Stop crying, please."

Brooklyn shook his head. "It's all my fault." He murmured against Bryan's chest, shutting his eyes and letting the sobs clawing to get out of his throat free reign to take over his body, making him shake like a leaf.

Kai smirked, knowing that he had the upper hand. "You don't know. You just have to trust that if Tala and I were doing that you would have picked up on out unholy aura or whatever it is that hangs around people like that."

The teacher walked over and squinted at them.
"Ok, you're safe this time, but don't think im not watching you."
Tala smiled at her. "Pleasure chattin with you miss."

Bryan hugged the other closure. "Whats all your fualt Brooklyn?"
When he recieved no answer, just sobbing, he sighed.
"Please Brooklyn, tell me whats wrong."

Brooklyn shook his head, "No, you'll hate me." He told Bryan. "Even more than you hate me now." He added miserably. He sighed and continued to cling to Bryan's clothing.

Kai mock saluted at her before slumping on the desk. That had been close. He knew there was a reason he didn't like English.

Tala sighed. "Well, that was interesting..."
And close...
He looked at Kai and smiled before resuming his ritual doodling in his book.

Bryan shook his head. "Brooklyn, if i hated you, i wouldn't be holding you like this and somehow i don't think anything you could tell me would make me hate you. Please just tell me."
He rested his chin on Brooklyn's head and stared at air in front of him.

"B-but..." Brooklyn trailed off, unable to think of a reason he couldn't tell Bryan- apart from the shame of admitting what he had done to his so called friend. He sighed. "Have you heard about Tala and Kai?" He asked, shutting his eyes so he couldn't see Bryan's reaction.

Kai shut his eyes and slumped on the desk in relief. Maybe things can go back to normal?

Tala looked around and raised an eyebrow. Brooklyn still hadn't come back yet.
He looked over at Kai.

"Well..." Brooklyn bit his lip. Bryan blinked, trying to process the information.
"Um, ok then, i don't exactly know what you saw but, um, have you tried just talking to them?"
He sighed.
"And i don't know why i'm being nice to you. I just am. I guess it's becuase i like you, okay?"

Brooklyn shook his head. "I can't talk to them. They'll probably try to kill me- or at least Kai will. Tala's a bit more unpredictable. I don't know what he wants to do but Kai will definitely have murder on his mind."
Brooklyn blinked when the second part of what Bryan said filtered through to him. "Y-you like me?" He shook his head. "You shouldn't. I'm not someone who should be liked."

Kai sighed. He'd find out whatever Tala was thinking about later.
He ears pricked up when the sound of the bell went. Thank the Lord of the Shiny Green Earth He though feverently as the class began to stand up and collect their books. He glanced at the teacher who was still giving them a poisonous death glare and waved at her. b***h

Woo! No more english...until next time we have this lesson.
Tala stood up and stretched. He looked over at Kai and gave him a small smile. "Well, that wasn't all that, er, painful."

Bryan sighed when he heard the bell, standing up and pulling brooklyn to his feet with him.
"I don't think Tala would kill you, but i couldn't say anything about Kai."
He smiled at Brooklyn. "Sure i should like you."

Brooklyn shook his head. "No you shouldn't" He told Bryan. He jumped when he heard the bell and quickly moved away from Bryan.
"Stop it." He told Bryan before walking away from him. "Just stop it now."
Brooklyn wiped his eyes angrily as he walked away from Bryan. Stupid he thought at himself as he made his way to his locker. Stupidstupidstupid
He hated to think about how much Bryan had managed to comfort him. He knew that he didn't deserve it. Bryan needs someone who wont eventually betray him exactly like I did to Kai. He needs someone the complete opposite to me.
He sighed as he opened his locker and threw his books into it. Doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt

Kai sighed and grinned. "Speak for yourself. I almost had a heart attack." He stood up and smirked. "Still, was worth doing just to see if I could pull it off. I want to start playing poker. I think I could win."

Tala smirked. " Heh, poker. Just don't vs me if you plan to win."
Tala thought for a moment and looked at Kai evily, dropping his voice. "Unless of course, you intend on playing strip poker. Then you can play with me anytime, day or night, rain or hail."
Tala walked passed Kai and out the door. He stopped in his tracks when he saw Bryan just standing there.
"Uh...hi?"
Bryan had been looking off in the direction the Brooklyn had walked of to, confused, yet again. He turned to look at Tala, startled.
"Uh, yer, hi." He look back to where brooklyn went and shook his head, sighing.
never understand that kid.

"What are you looking at?" Kai asked, looking around Bryan to try to see. He smirked as he thought over Tala's strip poker offer. I'm going to take him up on that one

Brooklyn sighed as he made his way to the tree he had been sitting at the other day. My life sucks he decided.
