"I see you are a very knowledgeable young lady," Mrs. Yayoi said, smiling sadly now that she knew that her son did indeed try to hurt himself. "It's nice to know that Rosuto now has a friend like you. I just hope he recovers with your help." She looked at Rosuto once, and then she looked back at Tanya. "Just so you know, my son is a very forgiving boy, but he tends to blame himself for a lot of things. It's a miracle that he's lived up to this point." Somehow, she couldn't help but wonder what had happened to Rosuto during those two years he had vanished.
"By the way, have you seen my husband? He's suddenly disappeared from this room and hasn't returned yet," Mrs. Yayoi spoke once more, hoping to change the topic even for a moment. Talking about Rosuto's life alone was very hard on her heart, and she didn't want to ask any more about it until perhaps a little later.

Tanya nodded slightly as she listened to her, "I hope so, because right now some one dear is blaming himself for everything and it's making it harsh on him and right now he needs forgiveness. I hope Rosuto will be able to forgive him, though it looks as though Rosuto doesn't beleave that what the other says is true and it breaks my heart to see the both suffering and to think that I had been a part of their suffering as well." She sighed and looked out the room, "I beleave your husband went to the waiting room by himself. I'm not sure if he's still there though." She stated softly.

"I was hoping that he'd stay. Most other fathers would be as guilty as I am for ignoring their child for two years, don't you agree?" Mrs. Yayoi asked, now feeling a little more upset. She should have known. Her husband had only been reluctant to come to the hospital to visit Rosuto. Only threatening the man with death is the way to make him stay in this room and apologize.
Then again, two years ago wasn't the only time her husband had been cruel. It had always been that way. Those who see the family at first glance would see a loving family, but inside the father always hated his son, who would do everything to please him. All attempts had been in vain and only annoyed Mr. Yayoi even more. In fact, by the time Rosuto had vanished, his father could never have been happier to be rid of him.

Tanya sighed, "He's a vile man....he doesn't miss him and I can tell. I have a good jusgement of people's personalities," She grimaced, "But I have been cruel even when kindness is all in their heart. That's why I want to change that and If I can't make this right then Hatomi will suffer in more ways then one. I'm afraid Hatomi's own father will kill him. THey don't know what happened to his mother and she's been missing for several days. People have visited, but always had a door slammed in their faces by his supposed father." She shivered slightly and looked out a nearby window. "I don't know where Hatomi lives and I can't help him If I can't even find him."

"Perhaps Rosuto knows, but we'll have to wait until he recovers," said Mrs. Yayoi, once again looking at her son. "He's very much in shock. The changes must have happened so quickly that he has a hard time adjusting to it." For some reason, she knew that her son seemed to be more accepting of the bad things.
Then again, Rosuto had a reason to accept the bad things. It was because he was in love with another boy that made him feel as if he deserved what happened to him. But why did everything suddenly turn better now? That must be the question that troubled Rosuto.

"Hatomi blames himself for his condistion," She sighed, "I hope he recovers, because who knows what may happen if he never does." Tanaly looked over at him as he slept.
Hatomi was at hom curled up on his side in his bed and coughed slightly. Hatomi could take care of hiomself, or so he thought. Though he would rather be alone to be with his abusive father, but who knew when he would figure out where he lived.

Rosuto listened to the conversation, slightly wishing that he could be left alone. Sure, he was glad that his mom was willing to accept him again, but he didn't know why. Was it because of the attempted suicide? Was it only because of that small incident that she had to pity him? Or perhaps, and hopefully, it was that true mother's love that she was supposed to have for him?
So, what happens if everything just goes back to the way things were before? What if everything went back to what Rosuto was so familiar with? Then he would know that everything was just some kind of pity act. If that happened, life would just be plain unbearable to live.

Tanya sighed, "I have to go now and find him. If I don't then his abusive father will and who knows what may happen from there. I've known Hatomi for a while now....I can tell when he's serious and when he's not. If Hatomi dies then I'll never be able to forgive myself." She started to walk away as she looked back at Rosuto's mother, "I should have stopped him the first day Rosuto showed up, then this wouldn't be happening and they would both be happy for once in their god damn lives." Tanya was getting upset now and she ran out of the hospital, in search of her friend who could possiblely lose his life to his spyco father.
Hatomi coughed again and cursed under his breath. He hated being sick and that ment he was weak if anything were to happen. He climbed out of bed. His kitten hot on his heels meowing as Hatomi staggered around the house locking doors and windows. A rough cough hit him when he got to the front door and he leaned his head against the cool feeling the door was giving off and sighed, trying to cool his head against the door.

Rosuto knew there was nothing he could do except try to recover. Maybe he can sort everything out later. After all, trying to figure out what the heck was going on was what made the people around him miserable. There was no point in searching for some kind of answer if everyone around him was going to get hurt. Wouldn't it be easier and better to just accept that everyone has changed? That was what he asked himself, and that was what he would like to answer right now.

Hatomi at some point had slid down the door his head feeling hot and heavy. A shiver racing down his spine, and he had yet to notice that kitten had climbed up into his lap. He leaned his head back and his mind wandered a bit. Was it right of him to change like that? Did he truly love Rosuto like he said he did? As soon as that question popped up into his head he found himself answering his own question. Yes, Yes he did truly love Rosuto and now he felt horrid for making Rosuto feel terrible. He cursed himself under his breath as he placed a hand over his face. He'd told himself he'd never be like his father and he had done just that. He'd hurt people and they'd died. It was as though all those missing people from school had come back to haunt him. Hatomi stared at the ceiling as something wet trailed down his face. He reached up and ran his fingers over the wet droplets as he looked down. Was he crying? He swiped his hand over his face as he looked at it. Yes, yes he was crying, but he was glad this time it was away from others. He was free to beat himself up and hurt alone with no one to see him.
His kitten pawed at him and Hatomi looked down at the fragile being sitting in his lap. He picked it up and hugged it gently as he sobbed into his fur. When was the last time he'd felt so helpless and alone? No.....he'd always felt alone. Even when he was around people who, cared about him he'd always felt alone. But his seemed different. He couldn't even place the chasm that seemed to linger in his heart now. "I should have died instead of them......Rosuto didn't deserve my cruelty and neither did anyone else, but......I didn't know how to handle things....and I made them worse as time went by. I'm a horrid person....I don't deserve to live let alone have someone I can love...." The kitten mewled pathetically as it licked at his face. He let got of the kitten whom left his lap and watched him as he got up. He coughed heavily as he started his way back to his room, but never made it for he passed out, hitting the floor with a loud thud.
Tanya ran all over yelling Hatomi's name, though she never got an answer in return. She knew it would be fruitless, for Hatomi always found a way to just simply disappear. It was how he always was, never being found, and appearing when he pleased. No one knew why or how he did it, but he just did. It was at this point that Tanya started to feel helpless, how would she find one person, whom didn't seem to want to be found ever again.

Rosuto tried to sleep peacefully, but he couldn't help worrying about Hatomi. The hospital room was now practically empty, since Mom had gone home. He might get out of the hospital tomorrow, and hopefully he would see Hatomi at school and apologize to him for freaking out for no reason.

Tanya was walking past a man when he heard the words that left her mouth, "Excuse me, but are you looking for a young man named Hatomi?"
She turned to look at him her face relieved when she noted it wasn't Hatomi's father, "Yes, He hasn't come to school in a while and I got worried something happened to him." She lied a bit, just trying to find Hatomi.
The older male looked around to be sure that something or someone imparticular wasn't around. It was then Tanya figured out this guy knew of Hatomi's situation, "He lives in a small home on the outskirts of town." He handed her a key discreetly placing his hands over hers so no one saw the key he gave her. "I trust he is your friend and you will no cause him harm, and if you are this urgent to find him then it is better I have stumbled upon you and not that man."
She nodded and he let her go, she sprinted in the direction indicated by the man after thanking him. She came to the house and tried the door knob and found it locked. Good that meant he was weary in his small home. She unlocked the door with the key she got from the man and opened the door. She looked around and found no sign of him till she walked passed the living room towards his bed room and almost lept in surprise when she found him laying face down on the floor his kitten pawing at his shoulder with pathetic mewls to try and wake the unconscious boy. "Hatomi?!" She rushed to his side and rolled him over, "Good he's still breathing." She rested the back of her hand on his forehead, "He's burning up.....Damn it Hatomi...." She struggled to get him up, by wrapping his arm over her shoulder and practically dragging him into his room to place him in bed. "Looks like I'll be taking care of you then," She sighed. She new Hatomi, when he got sick he got really sick and it would be a couple days before he recovered from it.

Rosuto stared out the window. He wanted to leave this hospital right away. Hatomi was most likely depressed again and who knows how he's doing?! If Tanya had found him already, then there's nothing to worry about. Thing is, Rosuto didn't know what was going on for he was stuck in the hospital. Was Hatomi okay? Was he safe at his home?

Tanya took care of Hatomi as good as she could. She looked at her watch and cursed under her breath. "Damn I have to go and I can't tell my parents I'm staying at Hatomi's place they would flip," She looked down at Hatomi's sleeping face. He seemed out cold and would be for a while. She hoped he would stay asleep all night, but just in case she filled a few cups of water and placed them by his bedside, along with a wash basin that had some cloths in it in case he needed something to cool his head with. She also place a bucket and some crackers near by to tide him over till she got back the next day. She had already decided she wouldn't go to school tomorrow and would call the others later in the morning about what was going on and have them decide if they wanted to help out too.
She looked around one last time before looking at him, "take care Hatomi, I'll be back in the morning. I promise," She said softly before going to the front door and locking it behind her once she left. She walked home from there and made it to her house a little later then she'd planned. She got chewed out for it of course, but it was minor and she shrugged it off cleanly. She planned out the next day and hoped one of the others would be able to watch over him at night after this night.

Knowing that he couldn't do anything, Rosuto just closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep. His mother had left a regular-sized box next to the bed, and she had told him to open it before going to sleep. Not wanting to disappoint her, the boy did open it, finding a rather new-looking, but actually very old, teddy bear inside. So Mom had kept it all this time.
