KasaChan did anyone get a chance to watch that show I recomended last night via annoucment. I was suprised how nicely they described witchcraft. I thought they were going to say we were a bunch naked crazy people humping trees. Mmm, tree humping. That takes me back to my youth (and sadly, I'm not joking lol).

It was a friend of mine, who screamed, "I'll save you tree!" as he ran over and humped the s**t out of the tree. That's what started it, hehe. (and yes, I am a freak xd )

Rizu-Sensei i didn;t watch it, but tulak hord said they pronounced samhain incredibly wrong. Apparently it's pronounced like "sowwen". I still need to finish my gaelic lessons.. Did you know that Samhain is actually a month in the Irish calendar? Same with Bealtaine and Lughnasadh. @_@ It'd be so much more simple to just find my own holidays that I know I'll be able to pronounce.

Pronunciation is weird among Pagans. I am always leery to tell people how I think something is pronounced. I actually know a woman who continually say a-thame instead of ah-thom-ay, or even ath-a-may (the way that Charmed taught tons of people)
I have always said Sow-win, but I have even heard it pronounced sa-veen
I say ge-es-ol the way I was taught, but I think de-o-sil is a lot more common
It never bothers me they way people say things, if it doesn't bother them I say it differently.
On a personal and totally non pagan note. I have been wanting a pet for my Avi, almost of any kind, something I like would have been nice, but please take a look, I have a mouse and yes i am telling people, because its too small to notice, but I am just so happy I wanted to share. Its cute and it hangs with me where ever I go woo hoo!!

I am an investment banker (or something offical). grrrrr There is an Australian group called Spiral Dance. In one of their songs they say Sam ane, Which is just like Sam Hane, but with an accent. I think its perfectly fine to threaten fiances with your tools. I thought that was their secondary use. I think its even written in my book of shadows. Actually I believe all kinds of things about your tools. How mysterious it is to keep your tools locked away and only used for Ritual. But how Charming and natural to do it the way the Kitchen Witches do it, by pulling a knife out of the drawer. There is a wonderful kind of magic in that too. I kind of split the difference. I have a wine glass that sits in the cupboard. My Athame is pretty much saved for ritual. I do believe in ritual play though and chasing a fiance, just adds that kind of energy to your tools. Speaking of Spiral Dance, Does anybody listen to much Pagan music? I know I've seen somebody- KasaChan? listens to Inkkubus Sukkubus. How many of their cds do you have and what else Magickal and Spiritual are people listening to?

Oh, trees....
I remember this one time at camp, and the counselor's like "Ok, every time you run you have to hug a tree!" Someone ended up getting poison ivy, but it was incredibly funny....

How many of their cds do you have and what else Magickal and Spiritual are people listening to? I listen to bits and pieces of all of their albums. I prefer Wythes for Inkubus Sukkubus.
I try to listen to other pagan bands, but none that I am heard seem appealing. I dress Gothic, and since Inkubus Sukkubus is a Goth band too, it fits for me.
Any suggestions??
BTW I made my wand myself, so Im always grabing it and just holding it, charging my energy into it. So it's no big suprize i'd run around like a monkey with it. All my tools live on my altar all the time, which is next to my head when I sleep so I am near them. I feel if they are near, the better I bond with them.
