Andrius nodded, "As we are right now, you will not be able to come with me when I sleep...as much as I would like for you to. And I could sleep as you do, but it weakens me, and if I am to protect you and care for you properly, I need to maintain my strength."

"Well that's not too bad. You only need to be away from me in two occasions." She looked at him for a second before looking back to where they were going. "Andrius..... is there anything else that I need to learn about you and your kind? Or will that wait until I..... change?"

Eos nodded. So there were lots of things she'd have to learn but some would only happen after she changes. "Yes I know about the blood drinking. You freaked out on me when I compared you vampires. As for the many gifts... you mentioned you had them but never said what they were."

"I am capable of calling he elements to do my bidding, I possess super strength and speed, many powers of the mind, such as creating illusions for others to see, or reading minds. I am also capable of using my voice as a weapon. I live for a very long time and am very hard to kill, though it can be done. I cast spells on my home to keep it safe from those who want to do me harm, and I am an excellent hunter. I can shift forms to anything I like, be it mist or a dragon. To name all the things that I can do or am capable of would take much longer, but I have given you a fairly complete list of gifts."

Eos paused as she listened, in awe, at what he could do. "Wow! You sure can do a lot!" Her eyes were wide as she stared at him, "Are all Carpathians that gifted?"

She nodded her head thinking. She looked up at him with a curious look. "Am I going to be getting any of those gifts or do only those born a Carpathian have them?"

Andrius blinked. He'd never heard of anyone asking that question. And then he smiled. "You will receive all of the gifts of my people, my light. But it is curious that you should mention them only being given to those born of my species. I am afraid that for you to become like I am is very painful. Your body will have to reforge itself and rid itself of your mortal poisons. So in a sense, you will be born again, though this time like me."

She blinked herself and thought about what he said. So she would end up with all of the gifts that come with being a Carpathian but would have to go through a painful process to be reborn. "That sounds like a.... uh.... um... interesting trade. I'll gain all of those gifts but the cost will be the painful rebirth.... Speaking of that.... It's not going to happen for a while still, right?"

She nodded slowly absorbing the information. She didn't like the idea of exchanging blood but was a little happy that they had a ways to go. "I see...." She trailed off finally at a lose of what to talk about.
