 Kazuki sighed as Akira gave him that look. He didn't think Akira liked Akeru very much. He had noticed a slight glee on his face from Akeru's situation. Kazuki on the other hand wasn't one to let a friend of his look ridiculous like that(unless he knew the person really well which he didn't think he knew Akeru very well yet). He came up behind her and patted down her hair for her so it looked normal again."Sorry. My shock must have given you a lot of static electricity and your hair poofed up." He didn't feel nervous doing this at all. He just did it, not really thinking about the consequences.

Within every illusion, there is reality"  Akeru felt happy that Kazuki told her, she wouldn't want want to walk in with everyone and look like an idiot. However, him fixing her hair was a different story. She didn't really like when guys were really close or prolonged touching. To her, all guys had dirty minds, and she started to think that the static thing could have just been an excuse for getting close and running his hand through her hair. After he had been smoothing her hair out for a few seconds, she grabbed his wrist. Usually, she would have aimed a swift kick to his lower regions, but he did just pay for her food, so she figured she could be more gentle in her approach. "Thanks for the warning, but please don't do that. I can comb my own hair..."Akeru reached into the pouch on her shoulder and took out a yellow comb, one of the few personal items she carried with her. People usually didn't see a girl like her caring much for hair care, but she actually put a lot into her hair.

 Kazuki raised his hands in apology. "Sorry." He hadn't even thought about her personal boundaries at all. He never really did with anyone else either but he'd never done something like this before. He wasn't trying to be perverted or anything. It was just an act of kindness. Although he tried not to show it, he did care about his friends and their well being. On hindsight though, he probably should have just told her about it, not do it himself. He was a little surprised when Akeru took out a comb. He figured a girl like her wouldn't carry something like that around. Ah well whatever. I hope she doesn't think I'm trying to hit on her or something.....Even though she is kind of cute.....in an annoying sort of way.
He shrugged and looked around. No one seemed to be around the house. It was silent. He activated his eye, changing the color from green to yellow again and searched the area for his teammates and friends. He senses them moving toward the gates and turned that way. "Looks like everyone's going somewhere. Their moving toward the gates. Let's head that way."

Can become a great hurricane"  Akira raised an eyebrow as he saw Kazuki's eye color change. He never liked doujutsu much, you could usually tell when somebody was using one, but the effects were always so varied guessing exactly what it did almost never worked. He figured it let him sense people or something, seeing as he was now calling for them to head to the village gates.
"Well, if you're sure that's where everybody is, then sure. You're the leader here, Kazuki, you know the village much better than Akeru and I do, so lead on."Akira glanced at Akeru as she was combing her hair. He didn't really expect that she would carry a comb around with her. He saw her as a more practical person, someone who wouldn't give up an inch of weapon space just for something to pretty herself up. He supposed though that it wasn't strange for her to be feminine from time to time, she was, in fact, a girl...
"You actually carry a comb around with you? I really didn't take you as someone who cared much about your looks. But I guess I understand it, my mother said she used to bring a comb, mirror, and makeup with her on her missions..."

Within every illusion, there is reality" She didn't know the way Akira meant his comment about her not caring for her looks, but she took it as an insult. She cared very much about her looks! Just because she didn't come from a wealthy clan where she could afford fancy clothes and stuff didn't mean she didn't care! And she had always considered herself quite attractive, but did this mean Akira disagreed? Maybe she was blowing things out of proportion because she was tired, but his comment really upset her. She gave him an evil glare, looking him straight in the eyes. "What do you mean, I don't care much about my looks!? I actually care a lot about my looks! Unlike you, though, I don't have a family that can just buy things, so I have to make due with what I can get! So what? You think I could be doing a better job or something!? Well I never asked for your opinion, jerk!"Akeru turned away from Akira, her arms crossed. She didn't just look extremely angry at him, she also looked a bit hurt. However, she wasn't one to take such comments lying down. With her back turned to him, Akeru activated her tenraigan. Akira was still in her chakra network, so it was easy for her to cast her Lullaby technique on him. She grinned as she silently cast her genjutsu; that would teach him to insult her looks!

Can become a great hurricane" "N-no! I-I didn't mean it like that! I just meant...I-I thought that you..."Akira had no idea that she would take what he said so hard. He didn't mean it as an insult, he just saw Akeru as someone who's primary concern was fighting. He didn't think there was anything wrong with how she looked; on the contrary, he found her very attractive. He wanted to apologize, but for some reason, there was something distracting him. It was like...a soft, peaceful music, so low that he could barely hear it. As he continued to try to listen, he didn't even notice as his eyelids began to feel heavy. It was only seconds before he looked much more tired than Akeru did and then crashed to the ground. He was now in a deep sleep, something that would take a lot to wake up from...

Kazuki nodded at Akira and began to lead them toward the gates. He watched and listened to their conversation. He was laughing on the inside. Obviously Akira didn't hang around girls that often. Kazuki knew that they always cared about their appearances. His mother had made sure to beat that into him(with some help from his sister too). He noticed a change in Akeru's chakra though and studied it. He was reminded of their fight earlier and her explanation from earlier. He looked over at Akira in time to see him fall to the ground asleep. Kazuki put two and two together and turned to her."Uh, we kind of need him to stay awake to keep moving. I don't suppose you have a genjutsu to wake him up do you?" He shook his head. Looks like he might have to give up on Akeru. She appeared to already be taken by this guy, though he wondered about their partnership. Doesn't look too stable at the moment.

You should just carry him or something."It was true that waking him would cost a bit of chakra, but it wasn't anything too drastic. But since people from her clan naturally had problems using the genjutsu release technique, Akeru had do devise another method for waking people. She did understand that Akira wasn't trying to upset her, he was just an idiot, so she didn't want to use the technique on him. It was definitely a bit cruel...in fact, much more than cruel. In the technique that she would have to use, she would use her chakra to effect a targets mind and cause them to trap themselves in a genjutsu. They would play their own worst fears in their mind over and over until they couldn't take it anymore and woke up, usually in a cold sweat and short of breath. Since the dream would be made specifically by the target for themselves, it ensured that they would experience every single fear that they had. Even Akeru felt that was a little cruel to use just to wake someone up. "...Trust me, if I use the technique to wake him, I think he'd be too busy shivering in a corner to be helpful anyway. I'm sure he'll wake up eventually, or one of the others will know genjutsu release. For now, just carry him and lets get going...*yawn* If everybody's there, they're probably waiting for us..."

 Kazuki sighed and shook his head. Apparently I have to do everything around here. He knelt down next to Akira and placed his hand on his arm. His father had told him that if he did fight a genjutsu user then you could break genjutsu by pain or by inserting chakra to the affected person and break the illusion. A shock would work then right? He pushed a small shock into Akira's body, about the same power as he had done to Akeru moments ago.

 "There you are," hissed Shiki as she grabbed a hold of Kazuki's collar, "I've been looking all over for you! And as for you!" pointed Shiki to the blond-haired girl and the boy with the meshed shirt, "Regimaru is not in a good mood right now; I'd think twice about the next time wandering o--"
Regimaru had placed a hand on Shiki's shoulder and nodded his head in reassurance as he wrote down something in his note pad before showing it to his two young genin,
'Nevermind her, what matters is that we're all here.
Let's head to the village gate before they take off without us.'

Kazuki gulped so hard when she grabbed his collar that she could have felt it through his shirt. His eye had returned to normal a second ago and he hadn't felt her coming at all. He nodded slowly. Who's Regimaru? he though as he turned to his teacher. Another ninja was behind her. He had a pretty hefty looking sword with him and a pad of paper. As he turned it around Kazuki read it and understood what Akeru had said earlier about if he could shout on paper. Guy must be mute. He thought about the two Sand jounin in front of him. Were all the jounin teachers in the Sand handicapped in some way or was it just his imagination?
He nodded at Regimaru and stood up. "Are we going to do a mission?"

 Regimaru nodded and pointed to the direction of the village gates before walking off with both Akeru and Akira following behind.Shiki only shook her head before looking back at Ichi, Kazuki, and Kyou, who seemed a bit withdrawn.
"... Come on," she muttered, growling something under her breath about Nemutai and about her genin. It was nice to see that they met and got along, though...

Kazuki grinned. "All right! Let's go!" Kazuki was happy that they finally were going to do something. He didn't mind the little matches that they had done yesterday but now they were going to do something serious.

Ichi nodded. "A-alright" He nodded and started to follow Shiki, he wondered what it was that they where going to do after they left the village hidden in the clouds and headed back to the village hidden in the sand. "Shiki, what are we going to do after this?" He asked still following them

 Kyou ran out the door to tr and find someone. She has to stop sleeping in... Her team had to be around here... right? She looked around untiln she finaly found them. "S-sorry! I-I slept in too long, sorry..." she said as she ran over and stopped, then adjusted her glasses.
