XATM-2.0 crawls down to path but slides down crater in side of path and falls down the cliff
XATM-3.0 slides down to path upside down and can't move

RoboVite 001- Side legs step off edge of cliff and causes it to break off and him to fall off the edge.
RoboSharp 002- Slides down the side of cliff upside down.

When you talk to the G-Soldier, he calls:

For just completing the quest, your reward is a Phoenix Pinion.
If you go to Fisherman's Horizon and obtain the Moomba Doll and give it to the artisan, the Elder rewards you with a Status Guard. ninja

My apologies for last night. The answer to the last question is indeed Phoenix Pinion and Status Guard. I guess I never went back and got the Status Guard. I had been looking for: the Elder shows you his hands as a reward, and you get the Phoenix Pinion for humoring him. Full points for double error on my part.
This next question can be worth 400 points.
