VitoIt was then that Vito noticed the hole in his shoulder. Oh dear, that wasn't very good. He looked up at Lloyd as he was pushed back down onto the bed, and he noticed the other Weavile was crying... His claw snapped out and grabbed Lloyd's claw. "If you can't do it, then get someone else to do it... But don't leave..." He said softly. A jolt of pain then went through his arm, and he clenched Lloyd's claw even tighter.

Lloyd "Okay-Okay-Okay, NURSE!" The orange Weavile shouted and seconds later that Blissey appeared. She rolled her eyes at the two. Lloyd looked more in pain than Vito did, the whiny little bugger, and he could stitch someones arm back in place but he couldnt do this shoulder wound? Bah. She moved to gently pry the needle from the smaller Weavile's claws before stitching up Vito's shoulder. Lloyd cluthed Vito's hand like a teddybear with wide eyes.

VitoVito wined every time the needle went in his arm. Damn b***h nurse forgot to numb his arm. "Lloyd... what's wrong? I've never seen you like this before," He asked the other Weavile as he lit up a cigarette. Yes, he even smoked in bed.

Lloyd "'Cause its you Vito! Not some Pokemon I dont even know!" He had no problem slicing off a leg or sewing something up if he didnt know the Pokemon personally, he was even so much as a jerk to make a few jokes about it. "I dont want to hurt you." Lloyd whined, ear feathers flattening down. He may be an old smoking b*****d but as far as Lloyd was concerned he was HIS old smoking b*****d.

VitoThe older Weavile hesitated for a moment. "If you're thinking physical pain is that much of a problem for me, then you don't know me that well, kid," He spoke. He didn't even know how to feel the other kinds of pain anymore. He'd seen too much to be bothered by sorrow and inner hurt.

Lloyd Lloyd bristled. "FIRST OF ALL, dont call me kid. SECONDLY, maybe it wasnt you I was worried about d**k." At this point it would have made sense for him to stomp off in a rage, but Lloyd remained where he was sitting, still gripping Vito's hand.

VitoVito cocked an eyebrow and gave a toothy grin. "What, so you were worried about something else?" He asked. The Weavile then sighed. "Damn, I was planning on giving you some time off, but if I have a hole in my arm, I'm going to need you here..." He said.

the Good Doctor
A Sableye rushed into the Hospital, carrying in his arms the unconscious body of a beautiful Froslass. He was still wearing the tuxedo from the ball, which had a permanent bloodstain on the front. Ignoring the Blissey at the desk, he took her directly to the nearest hospital room and set her down carefully on the bed. He continued by slipping an anesthetic IV needle into her arm, taping it down and pulling out a few pieces of equipment for surgery - he needed to stop the bleeding and sew back together anything that was cut. This would be perhaps the most important task of his life.
And he wasn't even a real doctor.
-timeskip-
He was standing in front of the room's small sink, carefully washing his hand and scythe clean of blood, his tuxedo laying crumpled in the corner. The surgery had gone well, or so he thought - but that attack was not a light one and he hoped for Rune's safety. Were she dead, he would probably kill every Gallade he met from that point on.

RunouraFor a short time after the procedure had finished, the Froslass' vital signs had been unsteady. However, as an hour passed they evened out and became consistent. A sure sign that she had managed to fight her way out of the danger point. It hadn't been too long in terms of recovery but Rune began to stir, if perhaps weakly. She shifted ever so slightly and her eyelids twitched as if weighted down by steel. Eventually twin crystal irisis could be seen, staring blankly up at the white ceiling. For a moment, she wondered if she was dead. Then the sharp throb of the recently cared for wound made itself known and she knew she still drew breath in the world of the living. Even better, she had broken that blasted curse that had stolen her voice and pushed her to breaking point. Closing her eyes again, she tried to remember the last thing she could. Seconds passed and all she got were flashes of a pleasant ball and a widely grinning Sableye dressed all in black. Here her eyes snapped open with alarming speed. She remembered! Remembered speaking and revealing that which she had most desired to be let known. After that though, everything was black. Weakly, Rune attempted to prop herself up and called softly, "D...Doc...tor?" She desperately hoped he was alright; Knew indeed that her heart would be shattered if he wasn't.

the Good Doctor Now lying down drowsily on a chair beside Rune's bed, the Doctor's face broke into a wide grin as he heard her voice for just the second time since her evolution. It had changed somewhat, but it was still undeniably hers. "Rune!" he said, standing up and taking her hand in his. "Rune, are you okay? Do you feel any pain?" the Sableye asked, worried. Although seeing that she was awake and not paralyzed - not to mention the fact that she could speak again - reassured him greatly, he could not help but be anxious.

RunouraHearing his voice, she turned her head a touch too fast and had to blink away the dizziness before she could focus on the gleaming, gemstone eye. Looking over him quickly, she was relieved to find him without injury and sunk back down onto the bed with a greatful sigh. Managing a faint smile she murmured, "Pain? Yes... but it just means... I'm alive and... I will live." Gently she squeezed the hand in her own as reassurance that her word would hold true. For a time, she was quiet, simply thinking about everything that had happened. Then, for the first time that she could remember, she thoughtlessly asked something that had been bothering her. "Doctor...? May I ask... your real name?" she questioned, turning her eyes to looked up into his.

the Good Doctor The Good Doctor smiled. "Yes, zat is true," he conceded. After all, pain was not something that should hold anyone back, least of all Rune. Then he heard her question. "My name?" he asked slowly. He really hadn't thought about it lately. "It's...Viktor Rasmussen." Oh, how awkward the name was to say after such time being called the Doctor or GD (for the record he was not fond of the abbreviation). "I have not used it in a long time," he explained.

As the two Ghost Pokemon spoke, a thin purple gas began to pour into the room from under the door. It was very difficult to notice the gas because of its thinness, but anyone with knowledge of ectoplasmic activity could tell it was there.

RunouraWith a blessed patience the wounded Froslass waited for the Sableye to either decline her question or reveal the truth. In the end, it slipped from his lips and she couldn't help the bright smile that came up. "Viktor Rasmussen..." she whispered softly under her breath. "It's a very handsome and... fitting title. I quite enjoy it." she said shyly, turning her gaze aside in embaressment. Something, however, was bothering her and she was just about to open her mouth to ask when a new presence made itself known. Freezing in fear, Rune stared at the rapidly reforming gas with wordless horror. What if it was coming back to recast the curse!? She would fight to the death before that happened. That much she knew.

the Good Doctor "Zank you," he said, not quite sure what to make of the compliment but enjoying it nonetheless. He opened his mouth to say something else when Rune's attention was quickly captured by something else. Following her gaze, only then did he sense the ghostly presence that had entered the room. Blinking rapidly, his gem eye was unable to detect visual confirmation but it wasn't too necessary. Instead, he moved to be diagonally in front of Rune, a hand in hers and the scythe ready to avert attacks.
