Agent Panther smiled to himself. "Finish him off with another night shade Gastly." This would be a lot easier, he thought to himself. after this, swoop and go.

The Shuppet took the Night Shade attack, but it didn't quite finish it off as Panther had planned. The ghost had started out with more energy than the grunt's own Gastly.

"Hmm... you seem to be a bit inexperienced, son." The old man observing this with a keen eye.

"How about a Will-O-Wisp, Shuppet?"

The ghost then produced a swirling stream of flames that would serve to burn the over confident Gastly.

..and there went any desire to impress, right there. Good thing Hayes wasn't going to take this one out in any way involving dinner and a movie. Hopefully.

Hayes winced in apparent sympathy for his Pokemon, but also at the laugh. "You know what to do," he called.

'I'll bite her on the ankle' was Switch's last thought before the Confusion sent his thoughts spinning. The Pikachu growled and Discharged a large portion of electricity. It was focused on the Chingling, but if it frizzed the blonde's hair, that would be a bonus.

POOF! There went the blonde's hair as the massive amount of electricity was released into the air. "Oh my!" she wailed, trying to smooth down her golden locks.

However, the Chingling was in a more dire situation as it was struck by the brunt of the attack. "Chiiiing!" It dealt quite a bit of damage, but also managed to paralyze the little Pokemon.

"Chingling attack that stupid rat with another confusion!" But the little bell Pokemon was unable to move.

Oh jeez, a Raichu? Leonard wasn't expecting anything powerful like this Pokemon... but he can't back down now. Hiding his sudden nervousness, he tried to keep his composure and unclipped his own Pokeball from his belt.

"Yup, that's an Electric Pokemon all right!" He said while flinging the ball into the air. "Now let me show you my Seance!"

The unusually dark colored Shuppet appeared in front of her trainer in a flash of red light. It took her a moment to figure out what's going on... Was he going to make her battle with this Raichu? She had been sent out for something so juvenile?

No, there was no battle starting yet. That's a relief. Though she didn't show it, and instead stared at the other trainer blankly with her glowing red eyes.

"Hey... now that we have our Pokemon up in running, are you in a mood for a quick battle?" Leonard smiled with all of his teeth showing. It was a risky proposition, since he could easily lose this fight, but that's only when he plays by the rules.

Oh, so now there was going to be a battle. Without asking her, as expected. One day this Shuppet was going to...

"Hey... nice Shuppet man. Pretty sweet." The ghost was an unusual color for sure, but the dude didn't know anything about dark Pokemon.

But he also grinned at the suggestion of a battle. "Sure thing, man! I'm always up for a battle! Ain't that right, Raichu?" "Rai!" the Pokemon agreed.

"All right, lets show 'em what you're made of!"

The Raichu jumped forward, its cheeks sparking in eager anticipation.

"Lets start with a Thunderbolt!"

"CHU!" The orange and yellow rodent then released a powerful surge of electricity.

As Bonnie came in with the captured Absol and Misdreavus, Seth blinked once, a little bit surprised. Seems that Clyde hadn't been exaggerating after all.

"So I see..." he told the scoffing Clyde, and made a little note next to their names on his clipboard as well as which Pokemon they had come back with.

"I would think its safe to assume that you are keeping these Pokemon?"

Despite the Absol being a shiny, neither Seth or the Boss had any real use for it. Fodder was left for the grunts.

The female Rocket grunt nodded, the scarf on her head slipping down a bit as she did so. Pushing it back up, Bonnie peered over at Seth with a serious expression. With their mission completed, and considering how hard the both of them had worked, there was no way they'd be giving up the pokemon. If they did, then everything would have been a waste of time as far as she was concerned.

"We are," she stated, matter-of-fact. "Clyde gets the Absol, and I'm taking the Misdreavus. Oh, and we want to be partners," Bonnie added after she made claims for the pokemon. "As you can tell, the two of us work well together."

Clyde nodded along with what Bonnie was saying. The grunt did his best to contain his excitement over getting his new pokemon, and keep a serious expression like his soon-to-be-partner. Like he said, they worked great together. Hopefully Seth saw it this way, too, and would officially pair them up.

Oh jeez. His own hair in disarray, Hayes covered his mouth with one hand to keep from laughing, not unkindly, at the woman's predicament. He reached out and placed his palm against a nearby lightpost to ground some of the static.

"G'job," he half-chuckled, unable to suppress his amusement entirely.

"Chu." Switch leapt away from the Chingling in anticipation. When no attack came, he smirked, and rounded on the little Pokemon again with a little wince. That 'hug' was still hurting, but not enough to distract him.

The Pikachu's cheeks crackled again, but with frost. It took a little more concentration to use this Hidden Power of his and felt rather unnatural, but it was a nice backup. Ice rapidly sublimated around his paws and spiked toward the Chingling, adding a chill to the air.

Seth just nodded as he jotted things down on his clipboard. "Its already been noted." For the Elite had already planned to put them together after their success together in this mission.

"Well done. Now standby. We'll be leaving shortly."

The icy chill caused the little Chingling to chatter its teeth, but it didn't seem to do as much damage as the 'chu's electric attacks.

"Tell that Pikachu what you think, darling. Make an Uproar!"

"CHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!" The babymon's voice turning into an ear piercing shriek. Switch wasn't the only annoying Pokemon on the field!

Leonard actually winced a bit as the powerful surge of electricity struck his Pokemon. He wasn't wrong. That Raichu was more powerful than his Shuppet, and he wasn't going to win by taking him head on. In fact, would he be able to win at all?

"Uh..." He was a little unnerved by how Seance took the attack. She didn't scream or shriek or anything. That could either mean it didn't hurt as much as he thought or there was something wrong here.

"Use a Confuse Ray!" Leonard called out, remembering the moves that the Shuppet knew.

And this was why Seance disliked battling. She just got electrocuted by a powerful Thunderbolt for little reason at all! She turned to the Raichu, eyes glowing in fury, and dazzled the electric mouse with a bright light. Normally she would just ignore her trainer but she wanted payback for what it did to her!

Dazzled by the Confuse Ray, the Raichu stumbled around for a bit, but then shook its head and tried to focus.

"C'mon Raichu! Two can play at this game, use Thunderwave!"

The Raichu managed to overcome its confusion for this round, and discharged a wave of energy that was meant to paralyze.

"Well done. Now standby. We'll be leaving shortly."

Bonnie said nothing to Seth's compliment, even though other grunts would have been elated at such praise. Instead, she focused on taking care of her pokemon. Riptide went back in his pokeball. With the battle over, there wasn't much use in having him out anymore. Sparx was already safely in his, and the girl made a note to have him taken care of once they got back to Headquarters. The Pikachu was probably exhausted from the long, trying fight with the Misdreavus, so being treated for that wouldn't just be needed, but welcomed. Cyclone was the only pokemon that Bonnie kept out, and when Seth told them to stand by, she walked over to him and ran her hand over the feathers on his head. "You did good, Cyclone; I'm proud of you."

Misdreavus beads still in hand, the female grunt then turned abruptly on her heel. She didn't say anything more after that, and instead reached out to grab Clyde by the arm in order to pull him away. While she didn't know about her partner, she was sick of being around Seth. One could only take so much of the Elite Rocket, and she wanted some time where the two of them could just chat by themselves as they milled around with the other agents. Their mission had been a success, most definitely, but there was no way Bonnie would allow herself any happiness or bragging rights over that. This was just one mission, after all. Success today could be failure tomorrow.

"Don't get too excited, Clyde," she said cooly, "we have to keep our heads in the game."

[OOC Note: I was just quoting BP's post for clarification as to what I was responding to. Seth doesn't need to respond to anything after this. It'll just be Bonnie and Clyde, and perhaps any other Rocket who decides to pipe in.]

Well, it looked like that strategy didn't work for this turn. Leonard hoped that the Confuse Ray didn't end up to be a waste of time... Especially now that Seance was paralyzed in retaliation.

What else did she learn that would be helpful? Oh, well he could try a Screech.

"Screech attack now!" He shouted at the Shuppet.

Seance found it harder to float in the air because of the Thunder Wave. She dipped down periodically, trying to keep herself up. It made her all the more angrier, all the more desire to kick this stupid Raichu's butt!

She made her way closer to her opponent, and let out an earsplitting scream that was sure to lower its defense.

"Woah man... I think I'm deaf" the dude said as he covered his ears. The Raichu also flattening his ears back and wincing at the Screech.

"C'mon buddy, give it another shock!"

But the Raichu was still dazed, and in its attempt to attack, ended up smacking itself in the face with its own tail. The added Screech making the hit more painful.

Gastly was hit full force by the blast. With a little squeal he fainted and panther forwned, returning the poor guy. "You did good today later I'll treat you." Panther frowned and then sighed at the old guy's coment. "Inexperianced is right. that's what most say." he shoved his hands in his pockets watching they guy for any opening, but he knew he was done. there was little else he coud do that day, in the tine left.

Leonard also had to cover his ears from the loud Screech. It figures that the first kind of sound that his Shuppet made was going to be something like this.

But he had an advantage now! Kinda. Now to go in and attack!

"Use an Astonish!"

Gladly. Seance dashed at the Raichu and a startling high speed...

... Then paralysis came over her and she fell down, right in front of it. She was starting to loathe electricity right now.

Clyde grinned like a maniac at the praise, so much for keeping a serious attitude. With Pandora in her pokeball Clyde would have to wait until they got back to Headquarters. The Absol was out of his hands right now, since he was being loaded into a van, so Clyde didn't have to tend to his pokemon as much as Bonnie. He thought about talking to Pandora's pokeball, like he had seen trainers do after a battle, but it always seemed stupid to him. The pokemon couldn't hear them could they? Pandora was out like a light anyways. The Grunt looked at the pokeball on his belt anyways, and silently thanked her. As much as he disliked her sheepish nature, she did very well on their mission. Then he thought about how creepy it would be if she could hear everything...
He was snapped out of his musings as Bonnie grabbed him by the arm and pulled him off to the side. Clyde had no problem with Seth, he was okay, and as far as he knew the Elite was neutral with him as well. It would be nice to just chat with Bonnie though. Not that he would brag to the others though...

"Why not? We just had an awesome and successful mission! Why not celebrate for a little?" He grinned. "Pandora could use some training, and I'll need to get used to battling with Absol...He needs a name, by the way. I was thinking Hades, or maybe Cereberus. Something fierce that'll fit 'im, and probably from Greek mythology. You know how much I love those stories."
