They painted up your secrets With the lies they told to youAnd the least they ever gave you Was the most you ever knew
Abby was disoriented. She had been thrown into a cell and it was too dark to see. This was a problem for her. Her transmitter had fallen off in the battle so she could hear no sounds. She lifted herself up and found her way to the bars. It was much lighter outside of her cell. She rattled the bars and yelled. Her side hurt and was still bleeding. With any luck it would probably be infected after her time in this crumbling hole.
Her shouts drew looks from a few guards who ignored her after that. They had probably told her to shut up, but without revealing she was deaf, something she was set on not doing, she was likely to get hit sometime soon.
After several minutes she subsided into crying for her lost pack. She wondered if any of them had survived. Could anyone survive such an explosion? She dearly hoped so.
And I wonder where these dreams go When the world gets in your way What's the point in all this screaming? No one's listening anyway

Shaishuu was huddled in a dusty forgotten broom closet - the first secluded space she could find after she had been dismissed. Curled in a fetal position, behind the buckets and cobwebs, she trembled and shook with irrepressible fear. Memories flooded her - her parents, her friends, her life as a Keeper student, then the calm velvet of death, and a tiny taste of a sweet beyond, a world of happiness and peace. These were replaced with waking, confusion, and the burning desire to slay... She knew that she had been allowed in the place of happiness and peace because when she had died, she had been innocent. But now, she had mercilessly slaughtered living things. She was no longer pure or innocent. She was a killer. Frightened with herself, she squeezed her eyes tight and wept.

Abby gave out loud, long howls of anguish. Any animal, even the Xedods probably, could hear and understand her, not that she knew about them. er cell bars had been rattled several times already, guards shouting at her to stop. As she could not hear them, they were blatantly ignored.
After two hours of this, she finally changed back and clung to her knees.
And I wonder where these dreams go When the world gets in your way What's the point in all this screaming? No one's listening anyway

Felincia stayed upstairs when she heard that the doctors were going down to the werewolf. They would shoot her with tranquilizers through the door, then tend to her injuries. Of course, they planned on giving her a sedative as well. But right now Felincia didn't care. She had something more urgent to worry about. Shaishuu hadn't shown up for dinner last night. She wasn't at breakfast. No one knew where she was. And after searching for an hour by herself, Felincia knew she needed help. "Where are we going?" Jesute asked as Felincia dragged him through the corridors. "Searching every dang Keeper building in town," Felincia said hotly as she marched toward the door. "And I'm grabbing Eva to help us. We've got to find Shaishuu!" "But I have work - we have work -" "There's a starving girl out there who is a danger to herself right now. Shut up and help." When they reached Eva's door, Felincia banged on it with all her might.

In truth that she learned, or the times that he cried Evangeline, after finally changing back, had landed in the middle of her of her house and proceeded to pass out.
She was awoken by the sound of a pounding knock on her door. After her vision cleared three pounds later, Evangeline grabbed onto the rain that had been put into her house, just for her, and hoisted herself upright. "I'm coming," she yelled at the door as she walked towards it.
She opened it so see Felincia who looked worried and like she was ready to send out a search party. "What's wrong she asked?"

Felincia cut straight to the point. "Shaishuu. She hasn't eaten two meals, that I know of. No one knows where she is. She hasn't been seen since she saw the werewolf to her cell. Last evening." Felincia, still holding to Jesute's sleeve, gulped. "I'm worried about her. She was so frightening yesterday, I don't know what... could happen." "I still want to know what I could do," Jesute asked from behind her. "Shut up," she snapped back, close to tears. "There's a twelve-year-old girl out there, cold and probably hungry, with no living family in the world and nowhere to turn..." Felincia realized her fatal empathetic nature had returned. Dang. "Eva, can you help us find her? You know more about the Keeper faculties than I do. I've been looking, but I don't know these buildings very well." Felincia hated to beg of something from someone like Eva, but she was so worried about Shaishuu...

In truth that she learned, or the times that he cried [[Ironically enough, I just kind of got Eva walking and then....I ended up need a wheelchair in real life yesterday >.<]]
"Two meals isn't that bad to skip. For humans at least. Were Xedod dietary patterns studied?" she asked curious if anything else could go wrong with her form. Her bones had already been hollowed and stuck that way, the fake bones had been shoved out of her body and rejected, she had been forced into her bird form and had somehow managed to change back.
Eva thought about what she had seen of Shaishuu through the battle. "Of course she was frightening, she was scared herself! She was finally able to take out her pent-up anger on the wolves. If she were hungry, she could find food. Make no mistake, if we force Shaishuu to conform to life here and now, she might react badly. Perhaps she did not want to live again," Eva suggested although it pained her to say it. There were times where she had wished the darkness had kept her.
"I would check the Deep Coders. They were in use a long time ago, but are rarely used or even heard of now. They lead underground near the training grounds."

[[Really? Aw, I'm sorry... you okay?]] Every word Eva said cut into Felincia's heart. Stupid empathy. "Two meals is a long time for a twelve-year-old, returned from the dead or not!" she snapped, tears threatening to spill over. "And we can't leave her alone. We just can't. We need to do something for her!" She wiped the hand that wasn't gripping Jesute's sleeve angrily across her eyes. "Please hurry," she begged. "Where do we go? I don't know my way around very well, I spend all my time in the labs -" "I still don't understand what any of this has to do with me," Jesute muttered. Felincia turned on him warningly. "You shush!"

In truth that she learned, or the times that he cried [[I'm doing better now. Walking around Disney did a number though (not to mention the couple of dance numbers)]]
"Felincia, I went on a hunger strike when I was first brought to the hospital. Two meals is not too bad. If you want to do something for her, give her options. It's fine if you look for her, but don't drag her back and chain her to a house," Eva advised.
She grabbed her keys off the table and shoved her way out the door. "Let's use the entrance near the prisoner cells. There are some closets down on that end that she might hide in."

They painted up your secrets With the lies they told to youAnd the least they ever gave you Was the most you ever knew
Abby started up a fresh round of howls in the hopes of getting someone to notice that she had not been given any food yet. Her stomach was growling almost as much as she was howling. She changed back into her human form and rattled the bars violently.

Felincia heard the howling while they were still on the stairs. She held out the arm that wasn't dragging Jesute. "Wait a minute. Jesute, don't go anywhere." She quickly transformed into a cat, stood with her ears flicked forward attentively, and transformed back into a human. "Come on," she said, and with a look of pure fury on her face she marched down the stairs. One of the guards held out a hand as she approached. "Halt! This is the werewolf's -" "Why haven't you fed her?!" she demanded. "She's starving! We need her alive, you idiot!" "It's not my duty to feed -" the guard began. "Well, it's somebody's!" she said, poking him in the chest. "Get whoever's responsible and feed her!" The guard looked at the other guard, who shrugged and said, "I'll do it." He ran off down the passage. Felincia turned on her heel and marched back to the door that led to the staircase, where Eva and Jesute were waiting.

In truth that she learned, or the times that he cried "You were awfully forceful for a werewolf. Did someone get affectionate while she was spying?" Eva teased. Felincia had never been highly assertive that Evangeline had seen. To poke a guard was like anyone else yelling at the principal over the intercom of a school.
Evangeline could not help but wonder what had made Felincia so aggressive. Now Eva was curious about the werewolf. Still, if Felincia was attached to it, there could be problems later.

"Affectio- you've got to be freakin' kidding me!" Felincia protested. "I'm just uptight because I can't find Shaishuu. Can we please get on with this?"

In truth that she learned, or the times that he cried "If you say so," Evangeline backed off, but a smirk still found its was on her face. "Let's check the dust bucket they call a basement here," she led the way past the wolf who was still howling, as if unaware anything had happened.
"Probably can't hear anything past its own ruckus," she scoffed as they strolled past.

"She's deaf," Felincia corrected her. "But don't let that fool you. When she's a wolf her other senses usually suffice. In fact, it's really hard to tell that she is deaf. But we could use that weakness to our advantage sometimes." They turned into a dusty corridor, Jesute still grumbling behind them. Felincia looked around at the doors. "Now what?"
