I have destoryed all the weapons, but they were no cup of tea and I had to wait until I had all my materia 100% and I needed the huge materia. I also wanted to have Night of The Round too.

Before i beat sepheroth (which was easy! it just took a while) i saved and decided to fight emerald wepeon. Mistake. He killed my best team in 5 moves

I beat them both, I can actually say without contest that Emerald is harder.
Ruby may have more HP and will be invulnerable until he sucks away 2 of your allies and drills both huiis tendrills into the Ground, but he has no way to regain HP.
Emerald weapons Aire Tam Storm does 9999 poinyts of diect non elemental damage to all your party members absorbs the HP for itself.
Add that to the fact that if the shoulder beacons get a lock on you you can kiss your MP goodbye. And have to waste a turn on using a Megalixr, which will probably be countered by Aire Tam Storm, at which point all your hopes wil rest on Phoenix/final Attack hoping the player with the materia-combo is still in it.
I can beat Ruby without even Usin Pheonix, and that is why I'll set up the battle menu and leave the controller on autofire and leave the room.
Confident as always.
With Emerald I actually have to concerntrate.

I beat emrald but im havin trouble beating Ruby. The first time, i summoned the stongest of the Bahamuts (I forget its name) two times (thanx double summon materia! biggrin ) and knew i was dead after the first one did nothing to it...how do i beat it if my attacks do nothing??? gonk

I beat Ruby in just... half an hour, and had to touch the controller only twice. I also defeated Emerald Weapon, but I use the Lucky Sevens trick to do so. And Sephiroth... ugh, don't get me started on him (can anyone say 58 game overs in a row?)

Vincent. V Ex-~ Chris Silverwind Hes easy if your a low level Aishiko. Like under 90. I prefer fighting emerald weapon over ruby... x x Sephiroth is pretty easy at all levels. He only becomes difficult when you try fighting him with Cloud at level 99. His HP is tripled apparently, which means it'll be one b***h of a fight. xp just use kotr w-summon combo and then have all chars mimic for fast win

Best way i found to beat ruby is start off with two members fainted then wait till he puts his claws in the sand use hades to slow him and then phoniex summon to revive your guys then use wsummon neo-bahamut paired with quadra magic then have everyone mimic one after another. If all done at the proper time you'll come out with an almost infinite chain of 8 in arow neo-bahamut blasts which will make a big diffrence in his hp no matter what level he is .

I defeated both Ruby then emerald Weapons. Let me put it this way... The Materia combo I used made me basically invincible. If you want I could tell you what it was, but going against them is basically suicide unless you are above level 85, and you have the three Master Materia. Its also best to go after Ruby first because he is much easier. (By easier I mean Less HP) You see, Emerald Weapon has Air Tam Storm, a move that is 100% accurate and fatal. If you need help with them, PM me I'll tell u what i did.

I can beat Emerald Weapon easily, but Ruby Weapon on the other hand...I HATE IT! I've never been able to beat it without some kind of cheating.

I beat Emerald and that was hard enough. Took me forever and a day to do it too (not to mention "X" amount of GAME OVER's). Ruby on the other hand... scream Can't do it! I've tried everything. Even cheating doesn't help....maybe someone can give me a few pointers? wink

I beat them both. It was pretty easy. Took me like 8 minutes to beat emerald.
