i just had the bestest day ever, my three brothers and i all went to "Wet'n'Wild" today, it's one of the four major australian theme parks, we had soooooo much fun, i've even got the sunburn to prove it, we were there for the better part of about 10 hours

Are you saying that YOU don't live in Australia normally?

i've never been outside australia, i live in the northern tablelands, i'm visiting my mum's house at the moment and we went to "Wet'n'Wild" for my brothers birthday. My city is much higher in altitude and we are inland, meaning we have colder weather, my mum's house is on the coast, hot and humid weather all year round

So do you see a lot of platypodes in Aulstralia? I think I read that they're native there.

do you mean platypus/platypi? they are endangered and protected now, so you mostly see them in wildlife preserves, which we have a lot of. it's very rare to see them wild now...unlike kangaroos, they are annoying and yes they are both native solely to Australia

Platipodes is actually the correct plural form. I knew my rampant nerdery would pay off! I too have always wanted to see one in person. Not so much kangaroos, they're not as funny.
