She laughed the best she could in her Were form at the lecture/threat to Guiseppi she spoke the human tongue to him, "We have Wolf manners, only Pack sneak up to play or Enemy to kill." She turned to Uriyu and sneaked carefully up to him, close enough for him to smell her musky wolf scent and whispered in the Were tongue that he apparently knew, "Careful what you say, Elf. A Wolf is known to kill the weak to keep the pack safe and strong."

She padded back to Garbhan and took a calm stance mirroring his show of trust, "Keep an eye on everyone, if they show emotions that would be harmful to you, kill them. I think you just rubbed Guiseppi the wrong way," she nodded to Guiseppi for the sake that Garbhan didn't know names. But she couldn't help but smile, "I think you might be a good addition to the school here. We may want to head off in the direction of the Headmistress's office. There is a line out in to the hall, so we could wonder the grounds for awhile, if you want."

Guiseppi scoffed. "I did not sneak up on anyone. Besides that, this is a human and humanoid establishment--as such, human manners are to be learned and utilized." He stared at this one, and, from how Shadowpaw had said something that sounded to him like his name, he demanded, "You know my name. It is only right that I am told yours."

Garbhan tilted gave a terrifying grin, revealing multiple teeth. All very sharp, all very white, to back up Shadowpaw's statement. And when she returned to him, a part of his mind became enraged. Had he not JUST vowed to not get attached? To not start a family here? Family never does anyone good. Ever. But as he looked at Shadowpaw, a foreign emotion came back to him. Not one of love, no... But one of caring, one of empathy. He had discovered another Lone. One without their family. While this made him ache inside, it also seemed to stop his own ache. He was no longer alone. His mind, and heart, began battling each other. Shaking his furry head, he tossed both sides away. This argument could wait until later.

"Guiseppi? What kind of a name is Guiseppi," he snorted. It wasn't anything wrong with the name, so much as looking for reasons to bicker at the man. Hearing his words, his ears flicked in his direction, before he turned his body to face the man. "Garbhan. Rough in Irish," he barked at the man. He wasn't too fond of him; he gave off that aura of... Snob? Rich boy? Spoiled, and somewhat conceded. Garbhan liked none of these. Turning back to Shadow paw, he nodded. "That would be nice. I have been in this area for many days, but have never truly been in the School grounds. It would be nice to know my way around." His tone softened, to the likes of which he hadn't used since... His pack.

((OOC: 2 things. 1) How tall is Shadowpaw in her Were form? 2) Blue = Were Language. Bolded Blue = English.))

One of Guiseppi's eyebrows raised. "Garbhan," he said slowly, testing the name on his tongue. He shrugged, examining his fingernails. "It suits you." Rough, testy, territorial, and generally animalistic. That was Guiseppi's first impression of Garbhan.

Shadowpaw huffed in quiet laughter at the ruffled feathers of Garbhan and Guiseppi. She stretched out her long arms and back, extending to her full 9' 5". Hearing a few crunches of muscles sliding back into place, she shook her 2 inch long black fur starting with her head and down to the tip of her tail. She looked over at the blue gray were and felt her heart skip a beat. Could this be love? She hadn't ever taken a mate when she was with her pack, never had these feelings before. She tried her best to keep her emotions down and away from her face. That's all she needed was someone thinking she was falling for him. She shook her head again and reached for the small charm around her neck.

She waited for Garbhan to finish his small quarrel with Guiseppi. Her tail swishing quietly behind her, she looked over to the wooded area behind them. She let her mind slowly let her mind drift away from the group of men before her and drift into the dark corners of her mind.

Uriyu smiled listening to the bickering of the other two. As he heard shadow paw scurry up to him and warn him about what he said. "I can handle Myself just fine, My eyes work perfectly without the blindfold... actually they work too well." he whispered back before she scurried off. Stretching his arms and grinning he spoke in elvin with a slight chuckle, "Aren't languages fun?" he said with a smile.

[Damn, I realized I abandoned you all. Is there any way I can get my character back into the mix of things?]

((Go a head and try. I think once people start posting again, me and The Old One will wonder away, leaving Secret and Raigin at the gate. And the only reason why we haven't wondered away yet is because I'm waiting for others to post first.))

((EDIT!!! I TOTALLY forgot to add Guiseppi the first time around. But I fixed it! Yay me! -sweatdrop-))

((....-looks around cautiously- .......Is it safe to come out?... -jumps out from under a cardboard box- Hey all! I just got back from a 2 week trip with my unit. Twas crazy and a half, but now I'm ready to get RIGHT back where I left o-... -looks at the pages- ...jeez, you guys sure got bored while I was gone.

....-ponder- ...hmmm, alright. Guess I don't have any other choice. Sorry Asmusei, but we're gonna have to cut our meeting short. I'm just gonna go ahead and assume the meeting is over and it ended favorably.

-cracks knuckles- Allright, here we go!))

Perivia smiled slightly to herself as Asmusei left her office. It seemed that he had already explored some of the school's dungeons and found the alchemy wing. He might very well become the next Picasso of Poisons here at the school if he kept up his 'hobby'. He'd make a fine addition to the school.

As it was though the small line of people seemed to dissipate from Perivia's door during the length of her meeting with Asmusei. Perivia had known this, as she had been keeping an 'eye' on the gathering outside her office, along with many other eyes around the school. But that was an entirely different matter. Right now the point was that she had a dilemma and there weren't many options to fix it. The school had literally received at least 5 new students in the same day, and they had yet to be tested by even the other students. Perivia began to wonder if her students needed to be tested harder, just to remind them of their 'traditional duties' if nothing else. At the moment, though, she needed to see if these new students were worth keeping around. And since classes were nearly over for the day, there was only one way of accomplishing that.

Perivia pulled some parchment out of her desk drawer and stacked five pieces neatly on top of each other in front of her. On the top one she began to write out a message. The ink that message began to ooze through the paper, leaking into the other pages beneath it, creating a perfect copy of the first note on each successive sheet. As soon as they were completed, Perivia waved her hand over them for a moment. Instantly they vanished away into a small cloud of smoke that quickly dissipated. The next minute they'd find themselves either in the pockets or directly in front of the individuals that needed to see them.

The message read as thus:

The following students are to report to the main foyer at 22:00 for a team meeting.

Shadowpaw
Garbhan
Uriyu Yukoto
Raven Nightsong
Guiseppi

These students are hereby ordered on an assignment for the school. Your instructor will be Hsaaith Grayscale. You will be given further instruction once muster has been taken. Failure to appear on time will result in 'Disciplinary Action".

Best of luck,

-Perivia Umbrnox, Headmistress
"Never seen, never heard, never known"

Meanwhile, up in the warmer recesses of the school, a certain lizard was resting in the sun. Suddenly a black puff of smoke popped a piece of parchment in his face. He deftly snatched the piece of paper with his tail, not even bothering to open his eyes. Hsaaith groggily opened his eyes and skimmed the note over once. He smiled slightly, glad to have a fun assignment after such a long hiatus. Last years exams were brutal on him. Over half of the students had nearly failed their stealth tests, causing untold aggravation to his sense of peace. Hsaaith needed a break after that, and the Headmistress was kind enough to grant it. But now he was done sitting on his arse, soaking in the rays and was ready to get back in the game. Breaking in some new students seemed perfect.

So, with a new mission set before him, Hsaaith slowly picked himself off the floor and stretched out his limbs. As he did so, his skin and clothes began to change colors, seeming fade away into nothing. Soon there was only Hsaaith's head floating in midair, with the note floating next to him. With one last smile Hsaaith's head disappeared, leaving the note floating in midair for one moment before it fell lazily to the ground.

((Alright, your guy's first mission! I'll try and stay as active in this one as I can. Good luck guys! You should be fine.))

Uriyu felt a chill run down his spine. Meaing someone had cast a spell in his vecinity. After a moment he found a piece of paper in his pocket. Pulling it out he ran his hand over the groove made by the writing. Easily figuring out what it said. It was encouraging to know he wasnt "unwelcome."

((Glad to see you active, Kami. smile I'm sure if Asmusei was here the meeting would have been... fine. Don't know if you got the message I sent you about the Faceless Hunter, but for those of you in the guild wondering, he is off playing army for a few weeks and will be coming back home on the 21st.

Glad to see the school being active, was starting to wonder if I had to cause a scene... wink ))

Shadowpaw startled a little by the sudden appearance of the pieces of parchment fluttering in front of herself, Garbhan, and Uriyu. She quickly steeled herself before anyone saw her small moment of weakness and grabbed the piece of heavy parchment. She read it quickly and carefully, nodding to herself she looked to the others. "Well looks like we get to work together for our fist mission, eh, Garbhan, Uriyu? See you in the Foyer!" She wolf grinned at Guiseppi as she ran past.

She quickly patted Garbhan on the shoulder with a large paw before running on two legs up to her room to grab the cloak that Asmusei borrowed to her. "I guess I can't give it back as quickly as I hoped, sorry." She whispered to herself as she checked the door before slipping inside. She quickly shut the door and shifted to her human form grabbed the folded square that was the cloak and looked around for some rope. She growled looking at the bare minimum in her room that she could use, but suddenly an idea popped into her head and she smiled wickedly. She quickly slipped out of her room leaving the cloak behind and partially shifted her right hand into claws. She quickly when to the room beside hers and checked the door by running her long claw though the door jam and picking the lock. Slipping quickly inside holding her breath in case of any poison and hoping that the girl who lived there would still be in class, she hunted through the girls dresser for clothing that she could wear. Finding something that would work till she could go hunting for something for herself. She slipped into a pair of jeans and a lose fitting shirt and grabbed a pair of ragged looking sweat pants and gutted them for the elastic. She smiled to herself and ran out the door and back into her own room. Grabbing the cloak, she wrapped the elastic around her upper leg and the cloak tight enough to almost cut off the blood flow.

Grinning to herself, she then ran for the Main foyer. Seeing no one else there she found a dark corner and meditated, waiting for the others to be there.

Guiseppi stared at the note for a long moment, somewhat displeased that he'd be working with people... but mostly smirking. He hadn't even been back a day yet; this was wonderful. He'd have to go pack his bags once more. Hopefully this would be a good mission. He wanted at least one kill--even if it ended up being a fellow teammate. He was already having issues with Uriyu and Garbhan, after all. Raven... he hadn't interacted much with. Shadowpaw was fine, though.

He strolled to his room and readied himself, first by changing into some new clothes. He'd keep his best suits for when he wasn't doing dirty work. A simple turtleneck and slacks should do for now. He was in the foyer early--by perhaps a few seconds. He liked being punctual, but not early.

Having no where to go and nothing to change into Uriyu simply shruged and made his way to the foyer. Settling in for a long wait he closed his eyes. His sword hung behind his waist, his bow strapped securely to his back and a dagger rested gently in his palm as he waited. He couldnt let down his gaurd down in a school of assassins.

Shadowpaw quietly called out to any small spirits that might be in the area and waited for them to come to her. She didn't have to wait long, small animal spirits quietly gathered around her. To anyone looking upon her they would most likely see small blue balls of light floating around her. She reached out and touched them all and called them all by name. "Rat, mouse, spider..." She continued on naming them all in a close werewolf tongue. She did this to remind herself of the great web that held everything together and to also practice one of her magical arts. It helped calm her down and let her mind focus on the task ahead.
