Amani has more or less become the head guard to the herd, partially due to his claws, but mostly because he's shown more strength and willingness to fight than his uncle. Anyone that tries to come within herd grounds will often get questioned, if not chased off, should Amani catch them first before anyone else within the family does. He does have a soft spot for foals and females, which can often get him into trouble.
He also tends to drives others nuts in terms of trying to talk to him. He enjoys speaking and acting in confusing manners, hoping it will drive away anyone through the thought process of not wanting to deal with 'crazy'.
