Marie blushed unconsciously, shivering slightly as his freezing cold hand reached her neck. She soon realized that she was putting herself at risk, but she couldn't find it within herself to worry about her well being. Her hands wound their way up around his neck, pulling herself closer to him, and one tangling itself into his hair. .

Bradley grinned softly without breaking the kiss. He would've chuckled but he was a bit peroccupied at the moment. He moved his other hand to the other side of her neck. He inhaled the incredible scent of her blood, fully knowing if he made a mistake it would be the end to that drumming.

Marie was now leaning against him fully. She faintly remembered that they were outside someone's house, and in public. "Do you think.." She said, pulling away briefly. "..we should get back to my place?" She finished, resuming kissing him. She could care less either way, but they could frighten her neighbors, or even complete strangers. .

Bradley sighed lightly, pulling away. "I suppose that'd be a good idea. I wouldn't want to ruin their house." He agreed, sneaking a kiss before taking her hand and bounding off into the night. He bound along the top of the buildings and into one of the bay windows of her abode.

Marie blushed and giggled,. "You wouldn't want to ruin their house? You wouldn't be the only one, believe me." The fresh air as they moved helped clear her thoughts slightly, but she was glad when they arrived at her house, regardless of the fact it was through the window. "I hope no one saw..." She said, referring to their sudden leave. Finally she was able to put her bag down, she sat it by the window, thinking of what had just happened. "Well, that was...wow..." She said, running a hand through her hair, realizing that was how articulate she was going to get. .

Bradley stood off to the side, his eyes on the sky outside. "That was wow?" He repeated, a slight half smile on his face. "And what exactly was wow?" He said finally, looking down and over at her face whcih was ever so lightly highlighted with the quickly fading sun.

Marie walked back up to him. "You know what I'm talking about. Don't tell me you forgot already. I'll have to refresh your memory." She said with a soft smile, taking his hands. .

Bradley watched her, pretending to be utterly confused. "It seems I'm having a memory lapse." He said softly, looking down to her. "I think it'd be best if you reminded me."

Marie smirked. "A vampire having memory loss, now that's something I've never heard.." She teased, dropping one of his hands to wrap it around his neck. She raised herself up on her tip-toes, and kissed him again. "Does that help any?" . .

Bradley chuckled lightly, shaking his head lightly. "Well, I'm one of a kind, I suppose." He countered with a teasing smile. When she kissed him again, the severity of what might happen flooded his mind. He backed up, mortified, his eyes wild. No, you just met her. How could you even think of doing such a thing, Brad? You reckless fool. Subconsiously, he backed himself up against the wall, where he leaned against it with his eyes shut and breath held.

When he backed away, Marie bit her lip. "I'm sorry." She said before turning away, grabbing her bag, and heading as fast as she could upstairs to her room. 'Stupid, stupid, stupid....why would he ever...I mean, seriously, what was I thinking!' She scolded herself mentally, pulling out her computer to keep her mind otherwise occupied. .
(I understand, my computer had to be rebooted a few days ago due to virus'..glad they're gone now )

Bradley clentched his teeth together as hard as he could, his anger forcing his jaw shut. The rain pounded harder on the roof and a vicious lightning storm began outside. Why would you even consider that? You JUST met her. You blasted fool. He mentally cursed himself, his hands shaking because of the pressure he exerted to them. Pulling the window open without worrying about the deep gouges he had created, he launched himself out the window and into the night, flying to the forest for protection, all the while cursing his values.

With her computer pulled up, itunes playing, and internet up, Marie still heard the storm intensify. She pulled the cord out of her computer that connected it to the wall absently, for she hadn't realized her vision blurring. She wiped at her eyes, not paying attention, it was her own stupidity that got them in that situation in the first place. She stayed lost in her own little bubble in her room until her stomach interrupted her with its growling. Marie headed downstairs, to find he had gone, and through the still open window, the seat around it soaked, leaves on the floor from the wind, along with some other things. She left it alone, going to find something to eat. .

Bradley ran as fast as he could in a blind attempt to escape his problems. Never would he learn that you can't run from your fears. Not only was his fear getting close to this girl, but also that he would end up hurting her in the end. He was now sufficently soaked to his skin, though it didn't bother him a wink as he continued his way towards the ocean.

Marie was rummaging through her cabinets, looking for something she wanted to eat. However, her process was stopped as a familiar scent crossed her nose, and made her freeze in her tracks. It was not someone she wanted to see, she turned moments before the looming figure spoke to her .
"So, you still like hanging around with humans. No wonder I abandoned you when you were just a baby...Although, there has been another vampire around here..."
"What do you want, Father?" She said through her teeth. The two never saw eye to eye, and basically loathed eachother.
"Can't I drop in and visit my darling daughter when I like? After all, it's been awhile." He said, walking up to her still form.
(I thought I'd liven up things for Marie...)
