Reaching the field shortly after Aisu, Amaranth opened her bag and reached into it, about to grab the scroll she used to store her scythe, but stopped once she saw that the student held no weapon. Leaving the scroll where it was, Amaranth dropped the bag on the ground and then walked towards her student, wondering just how well the student would do in a battle.
"So... are you ready? Once this is over you'll receive your headband and become a full member of the village."
After she finished speaking, Amaranth moved to a position roughly a meter away from Aisu, settling into an odd combat stance and forming an unusual handsign with her left hand.
(... You're not the only one.)

 Aisu sighed and turned to Amaranth after taking a fighting stance. "Yes, I'm ready... Though I don't fight with weaponry. I'd like to think that my logic will get me through the battle. Now let's go!" Aisu gritted her teeth to hide her nervous and scared feeling about this battle and performed a series of hand movements causing her to use her Jutsu, Mousetsu. She though that by increasing her speed, she would have the advantage over this woman. Once it was used she sighed in relief because she felt that maybe her nerves would mess up the flow of her chakra though luckily it didn't! "I'll allow you the first punch." Aisu smiled to seem less threatening.

Amaranth tilted her head to the side, slightly confused at the offer, having the first attack was generally an advantage, but if she insisted... Quickly making a series of handsigns using her left hand, Amaranth mumbled, "Shourou Tama No Jutsu" and pushed her palm towards the student, sending a small silver orb rocketing towards her. It wouldn't do too much if it hit, currently only cramping muscles and draining a small amount of chakra, but it's speed made it a great attack for testing the opponents reflexes and defensive ability. As the orb sped towards Aisu, Amaranth prepared another jutsu with her right hand, ready to counter any riposte made by the student.

Aisu ran to the left, nearly avoiding the attack. It wasn't the thought of getting hit that scared her more than actually failing this exam. "I must prevail! Sentou Jutsu!" Aisu made several hand gestures with both of her hands and clinched her hand into a fist and charged with quick speeds at her sensei for the day, Amaranth. She was hoping to hit with the attack because that would surely knock a lot of will-power out of her opponent. Though, Aisu still watched herself to make sure if her attack were to land, nothing serious would happen. She had no intentions of harming her sensei. "I hope you're ready!" With that, Aisu swung with every hope in her being that she wouldn't miss.

Amaranth raised an eyebrows slightly as Aisu dodged her attack and dashed towards her with an amazing burst of speed. Finishing off the handsigns she had begun earlier, muttering "Hayai Toki No Jutsu" as she finished the jutsu. Time seemed to slow for Amaranth, with Aisu now moving at an average speed, but birds in the distance seeming to move in slow motion. With time seemingly slowed for her, Amaranth casually stepped aside, dodging Aisu's charge and sticking out a foot to trip the attacking student. A trip wasn't powerful compared to some of the other things she could have done, but should it work, Aisu would be relatively defenseless for a moment.

Aisu slowly fell head-over-heel since she was still in Amaranth's jutsu. As she fell, she really wanted to just give up and accept the failing grade. Though another part of her wanted to keep going. There would probably be no way for her to win unless she had a million jutsus or something surprising up her sleeve. Though... She didn't, "Fukappatsu Jutsu!" Aisu stood back up and used her strongest, in the since of defensive jutsu, yet! Aisu finished her hands signs, though nothing seemed to happen... But Aisu's jutsu was hopefully working on her opponent and cutting down her reflexes severely. However, there is no way for Aisu to tell unless she attacks her opponent. "Now, Sentou Jutsu!" Aisu clenched her fist and ran at her opponent at normal speeds, since she was still running quite fast without the slowed time. Hopefully if Amaranth's reflexes were shot, she'd be able to hit her square on!

Amaranth moved to step aside again, moving only to find that her body wasn't reacting as it was supposed to. Eventually, her body moved, but Aisu was already halfway towards here. There was no way she would be able to dodge in time. Canceling the flow of chakra for her jutsu, the large genin went to move away to the side. As the jutsu was canceled, the flow of time returned to normal, making Aisu return to the insane speed she had been originally moving at, the sudden increase hopefully startling her long enough for Amaranth to escape from the jutsu she had been caught in. As her body finally caught up and began to move to the side, Amaranth attempted another jutsu, preparing to counter the effects of this strange new attack once her body caught up.

Aisu, being used to the slow speed, flew forward once time reverted back to normal. The sudden adjustment caused her to trip and instead, she hit the ground creating a small crater. "Wha-?! Oh I almost had you to!" Aisu readjusted herself and instead, decided to mix it up a little and play some defense. If she couldn't hit her, she'd just wait for the right moment when her opponent was trying to attack her. Then she'd surely get her down. Not to mention Aisu's speed would surely help her to dodge any attacks. "C-Come on! Let's go!" Aisu began to pant a little, she hadn't even attempted to fight this hard in all her life.

Amaranth grinned slightly at Aisu's annoyance, with these abilities she could become quite powerful, all she lacked was battle experience. With her body finally catching up to what she attempted to do before the attack, Amaranth made a series of handsigns and then placed her right palm on her face, "Sugi Toki No Jutsu". A slight silver glow spread over Amaranth, flaring for a moment before it vanished. Moving her arm to see if the plan had worked, Amaranth grinned, her hand was moving normally. Still, she had to hurry, it would only last for a few minutes before the jutsu ended and the slowed reflexes returned, reversing time was handy, but even it had limits...
"Hmm.... You're actually quite good, all you really lack is battle experience..." She murmured, before using another jutsu "Shourou Tama No Jutsu", however instead of launching the orb this time, Amaranth held it in her left hand as she ran towards the student, with the silver orb spinning and twisting as it tried to break free. As she neared the student, Amaranth pushed her hand forward, using the momentum of the throw to add extra speed to the shimmering silver orb.
((The reversed time only affects Amaranth, just for clarification.))

Aisu began to slowly walk away as she realized that Amaranth was performing yet another jutsu. "Gosh, she has so many..." Seeing as how she managed to revert time back to its normal stature for a moment, Aisu had no choice but to run. She couldn't deflect a silver orb and she couldn't hit the woman while she had it either. Thus, Aisu began to run but quickly realized that Amaranth had released the orb and it was now gaining speed on her! Aisu jumped but to no avail. The orb hit her in her right leg sending her straight back to the ground. "Gah! Man, I've never fought like this before and- and it hurts..." Aisu's face filled with tears but she quickly wiped them away for she knew any weakness would probably cause her to lose the exam training. Aisu stood up and gripped her right leg tightly, the poor girl had led such a sheltered life, it was times like this when she realized how fragile she could actually be. "Agh! It hurts... I don't know if-" Aisu stopped herself and thought for a moment how much she needed this. Though she didn't plan on dying for it, she still wanted to become a genin. "Okay, here I come..." Aisu gritted her teeth and performed both the jutsus, 'Mousetsu' and 'Sentou' Jutsu. Hopefully them combined would give her enough speed to land a punch. Aisu stood back up and charged at her opponent while holding back the pain every time she took a step with her right leg.

Amaranth smiled as Aisu got back up after the attack, persisting despite her injury and a disadvantage. It didn't seem like she was going to give up anytime soon, she would make a good genin this one. "You pass." She said to Aisu, reaching into a pocket and removing a unmarked ninja headband. Blinking slightly as she noticed Aisu charging towards her, glancing towards the headband she was holding, Amaranth used it to reflect some light into the students eyes, hoping to distract her so that the student wouldn't bowl her over.

As Aisu charged she realized that a blinding light was deflecting into her eyes. "Agh, oh great! Another jutsu..." Aisu stopped in her tracks for fears of another offensive move and realized that Amaranth was holding a head-band! "W-Wait... I passed!? This is wonderful." Aisu slowly approached the head-band, still watching out for any cheap shots that might be coming her way. "So what do I do? Do I just take it from you?" Aisu bowed and stuck her hand out in order to receive the head-band. She was still a bit skeptical but over-all, she just wanted this to be over.

Amaranth nodded and handed the headband over, "The final stage of the lesson, you merely need to create your own symbol and carve it into your headband, after that, you are officially a genin!" Waving her left arm slightly, she indicated the headband on her left wrist. ((  Save this image and then create your own symbol, within a set of square brackets. so [ imagegoeshere ], with the brackets on the outside of the symbol. If you need a better explination just look at some of the profiles, Me and Baltic Hero both have our headbands up if you need further reference. Once you've made it and uploaded the picture, just put it in a post on your profile page.))

Aisu sighed in relief and quickly took the head-band before she did something terrible, like attack her. As Aisu looked at it, she let out a sigh of relief. "Whew... Well then, Thank you very much!" Aisu turned around and began to walk back to the village with her new headband. "I need to go get this welded with our towns brackets right? Well, I'll just have to go do that! Thank you again!" With that, Aisu performed another Jutsu and sped off into the distance heading straight for the town.

Amaranth smiled and waved to Aisu as she sped off, shouting "Good luck!" before she blurred with speed and vanished. Walking back to grab her bag, Amaranth sat down on the grass and then released her jutsu, sighing in annoyance as her reflexes dulled again. A few minutes later, once Aisu was out of range, she could move again at normal speed. Standing up with a small sigh, the large genin walked away from the training ground.
