In the RPs, Force-Sensitivity is randomly handed out by the Mods, right?

By the way ... would the tale of what happened to Vader at the end of Return of the Jedi be common knowledge to Shards-era Jedi?

More than likely. I mean, anakin was a legend. Why wouldn't he be? Not to mention, the only person who would really dictate what would be said about him would be Luke himself, but I believe he'd rather use his father as an example of the force, rather than have censorship on the subject.

No it's not.
Even Mara Jade didn't know about it, she thought they both double-teamed Palps in cold blood.

FrozenPhoenix32 No it's not. Even Mara Jade didn't know about it, she thought they both double-teamed Palps in cold blood. Any explanation on why Luke never revealed anything? even as an example to his students? It just doesn't seem like him. He wasn't ashamed of his father at all, so why hide it?

I just thought he never got around to it. maybe the Republic asked him to keep quiet about it to keep the knowledge from causing trouble.

But what trouble would it cause? It's not like Vader is that important after his death. It seemed to me at least that he was forgotten in light of constant troubles from the emperor.

Vader wasn't a well like person. its also not widely known that he was skywalker. if the two are put together, popular support for the republic would wither away.

Still, the jedi would know, even if the republic was kept in the dark. Secrets are found one way or another.

I don't doubt the jedi would know. this is something they would have to deal with and Luke as, you would say, used his dad as an example in his teachings.
