Fenrir stared at Near's wings and ran his tongue over his lips. "Hey, you know why cats eat birds?" he grinned wickedly and rocketed off the tree limb, making an inhuman like jump at lightning speed to attempt to drop kick Near in the face with both legs. "Because they can!" Meanwhile Fenrir's lightning clone wasn't just sitting back and enjoying the show. He jumped off too, pulling a long bone spine out from its back. It then used its whip like qualities to send it down through roots, wrap around Rin, and then swing him out of the roots to hurl him through the air towards Near.
((Since Fenrir is a speed ninja and also gains a major speed boost from his clan, he can fight at speeds somewhat equal to the kages. Not better than the kage, but the difference should be something Near wouldn't expect.))

As the bone wrapped around Rin, the hand mouth smiled. The roots would most likely follow them, so Rin allowed for the roots to follow. As they would do so, Rin would begin whipping kunai after kunai at the roots.

((My RPC never lets his guard down, which is why I attacked you when you BURST DOWN MY DOOR! Which btw will be your next mission, fixing my door!))
Near looked at the oncoming whip first, it was the most dangerous thing to him. He concentrated his chakra and used on of his hands to blow out a bit of air from his hands, knocking it off course. He quickly crouched down, with his Special Ability and his Byakugan, Taijutsu was the worst attack possible, so he was ready for it. He waited until the time was right to where he would stab 3 of the chakra points in his thigh, and if this hit, his right leg would be almost useless.

((NEVA!!! lol but Huntur your post is confusing me a bit. You said the oncoming whip was the most dangerous thing to you, but you're over twenty feet away from it. Even for a kage I don't thinkg "a bit of air" is going to really knock it off course from that distance. Even if it did though, the spine can change directions and strike up to three times before having to recoil (at least that's how Ronnel was doing it). If I'm wrong please tell me so that I can edit this post, but so far that is my understanding.))
Fenrir only grinned wider as Near dodged his kick. He was expecting it, considering he was a byakugan user. However, he also knew that someone as overconfident as the Amekage would try to counterattack instead of simply dodging, which would give him the perfect opening. As Near tried to hit his thigh, it would vanish completely right before his touch. Instead of striking Fenrir, Near would probably feel himself being electecuted as Fenrir transformed into a fast strand of pure lightning and attempted to shoot into him. It was a difficult move to pull off since its incredible speed made it difficult to change directions, but at point-blank, it would be almost impossible to either predict or dodge. Upon hitting the high voltage would both damage and paralyze the Amekage, given the lightning boost Fenrir's Raiken clan gave him. The paralyzing effect was the key Fenrir was looking for. Even if the Amekage could see the attacks coming, it wouldn't mean anything if he couldn't move to do anything about them, and that's where Rin was meant to come in. Being hurled through the air at high speed, by paralyzing the Amekage Fenrir had given him the perfect opportunity of attack. Perhaps it would at about this point that it would occur to Near that every move Fenrir had made since the beginning of the fight had been of teamwork with Rin, something Near wasn't expecting to come so easily to someone like Fenrir. This was where Fenrir knew the Amekage was mistaken. It wasn't that Fenrir didn't know or how to perform teamwork, he just simply didn't like it; just because a lone wolf is alone doesn't mean it can't work together in a pack. (Heh, you thought I would try to stab you with my bones, didn't you? mrgreen ) ((Lightning Transformation Technique))

Near knew he was done, he could not dodge the attack from Fenrir or the soon-to-be attack from Rin. There was only one chance, his pets. Yes, that was it. Jolt jumped at Fenrir taking any of the lightning shots that were to come from him. Glacia went after Rin, sending ice bolts at her. It would be a second before Near could move again. Since Jolt was a lightning-based animal, no Raiton would work on him, he was use to Chuunin attacks, let alone a juice-up Genin... This fight wasn't over, "This is meant for team-wirk, and Fenrir attacks all the time. Rin lets go!" Near was disappointed in her for not trying to attack sooner, this was her chance if she chose the right way to attack.

Fenrir popped out of his lightning strand state the moment he passed through Jolt. He still was close enough to Near to end this battle. Rotating his wrists to point his clawed hands behind him, a blast of wind shooting out would propel him at a faster speed to close the distance to the Amekage. Then, Fenrir reached out and grabbed Near by the scruff of his shirt and pointed an open clawed hand a few inches from his face. A spike of bone slid out of Fenrir's palm to stop just before impaling Near's eye. Fenrir took deep, growling breaths as he snarled, "Game."

Near was caught, "Great job you two. You honestly do make an outstanding team. Now listen, you two both are only Genin, but I... I am ready to show the entire World how powerful we are... We are hosting the Jounin Exams this year, and I would love for you two to be in it. I wil register you as Chuunin and you two must travel together. The rules will be explained in a few days in the Meeting Room. Would you like to participate?"

Near chuckled, "You just beat a Kage and you need more training... Yes. I will grant that." He reached down to pick up his bags, here! Near threw the scroll and began to walk off.

Samedi rounded a corner and almost ran into Near, or at least something that looked very much like him. For all his talent with genjutsu Samedi could still never tell when the Akatsuki leader was using a clone. "Zattenai informed me that you wished to see me, child..."
It was a bad habit, but Samedi couldn't help but call people 'child.' He was five times the age of the second-oldest living human.
