Angel of the End Banshi sat up in the trees, staring down, the moon in full light behind her... her purple blue eyes gleamed in the light like jewels, her black ragged skirt over black pants dripping down like darkened moss from the branch, moving slowly with the wind. the vampire in his grasp jerked, a quiet grunting sound escapeing her as Hawks talons tightened on her neck. he fed easily, his wings tucked against his body as he drained the vampire. she had been doing the same to a human girl.. so he saw no reason to let it live. his hunger stated he pulled back, slaming his talons into her chest to rip her heart out, then simply tossing the body from the branch to the forest below. crouching down he flexed his wings, absently studying the female he had killed. dawn would erase any sign of her.

Banshi appeared below, standing over the body, her blonde hair drifted slowly. Moving her head up, she smiled softly, "Why, Hawk... it's nice to see you." Moving her foot, kicking the arm of the corpse lightly, she said, "This one has been an issue for a while... you did a good job."

he inclined his head, wings twitching as he murmered. " if i had known you were near, i'd have shared Banshi. her group is still in the mainlands.. but i will hunt them swiftly." his talons clicked as he lept from the branch, landing lightly on the ground next to her as he studied the body. " i should have snagged a second one.. this hardly fed me."

Banshi's soft smile stayed the same, looking at him. "It will do you better in the long run... besides, more deaths are occuring outside the Mainlands, and the RCS has been covering it up... this will do one of two things. Either they will come in numbers for revenge, or else, they will stay low and the death total will go down... either way, we have the advantage, especially considering it has been a good 200 years now we have been on the good side of our dear cousins, humans, that is."

Banshi got down on one knee, and placed her hand on the corpse's face, closing the eyes. Being silent for a moment, she continued, "If they stay low, we can hunt them without unwanted attention. If they strike back, we can hunt even more freely, and despite any attention or rumors to be spread, they will be in our favor, not theirs... So." She stood up again. "Hunt freely, Guardian. Besides, this coven has been a hinderance to all of us long enough, and you are one of the most skilled crusniks among us for such tasks."

amusement sparked in his eyes, but his tone stayed dry as he mused. " skill is an odd word for a predator, my friend.. its nature to kill, these insects simply drew my attention." he flicked his wings again, disdain edgeing his words as he added. " however, the humans are troublesom to me. one false step and they will turn on us, no matter the injustice they offer first. the vampire's will not have a chance to raise a fuss. call on me, i will come if needed." offering a brisk nod he stretched his wings, a gust of wind fallowing as he took off. he intended a little fun in the mainlands..

Banshi did not so much as look in his direction as he said this, or as he left. Instead, she simply walked in the other direction deeper into the darkness of the forest. Young ones... She remembered how she met Edward the first time in this forest. They think far to highly of themselves. And the state or natural of an individual or a group... be it good or bad, is naught but an excuse for lack of will, or atleast, a desire to have as such. Looking up, pitch black above her head, Banshi grinned, Isn't that right, Edward? I'm sure Phantom would know, too.

Bandit shook his head, nudging the child to get her to stand. the village had been attacked, and because of his memories he had paniced. at least, he amended, a few of the children had been saved as well. until he could find their parents, or another person to take care of them, they were his to guard. even in wolf form they knew he was helping them, and none were above the age of seven.. they didnt question a psycic wolf.
the only girl was the one crying, the others trying not to as they fallowed him into the small den. try to sleep.. i promise its safe. it would work.. usualy only wolves or foxs stayed here, but five children could fit and stay warm for a night. content they were safe he moved out to sit at the entrance, relaxed but watchful as he studied the darkening forest around the den. he still couldnt feel his back leg, but the blood had dried and the numbness was a blessing now.

Banshi stepped out of the shadows, pale skin looking like ivory in the dim moonlight. Leaning against a tree, she observed the group, rather curious.

Blinking he twitched his left ear, his eyes locking onto Banshi's shape with clear uncertanty. did it wish to help.. or was it after the survivng children..? after all, he had seen a vampire attacking the town. with a haggered sigh he looked over his shoulder, studying the kids. they were in bad shape.. standing slowly he limped a little closer, his ears pricked in question. friend or foe?

Sakura was tired, he'd been walking for hours, contemplating his new life, and all the burden that he took on. He felt like he wasn't ready; he felt alone. He rested against a tree, lying down on a soft piece of grass, the cold air whiping in and out of his body, cooling him off. He needed to eat, but was so tired.
He closed his eyes, and imagined, what would it be like to be vampire? or a lycan?

Banshi stepped forward, now completely showing in the light. Her long blonde hair, blue eyes, thin face and figure, and her ripped black dress and pants under a trench coat. "Please do not be alarmed, friend... I know of the attack the nosferatu placed upon the village, most likely, they may have been looking for us." She bowed slightly, then stood back up to further explain. "I am a crusnik, one who is a vampire yet lives off the blood of my own kind."

Lugaru. his ears flicked back as he imitated a wolf bow, head nodding as he lifted a front paw. returning to a stand he flicked a glance at her, saying all he needed to with that questioning look. he wasnt a creature to mince words.. but he found himself returning her explainations. the human cubs need help. i cannot cook for them in this form, and they cant eat the game i hunt without a fire. visibly relaxing he backed up akwardly, keeping his left hind leg bent as he limped back to the childrens resting place. sitting next to the youngest, the girl, he seemed to speak with them for a moment. they relaxed and he looked at Banshi, asking. would you know a safe place..? he couldnt protect the kids in the shape he was in.. and really, humans had no place in the wilds he prowled.
