"We're getting married," I murmur, liking the taste of that on my tongue.
I kiss her again and again.
"We're going to be getting married," I say again.
"One sec. I think Claire and Christopher need to know this," I say with a wicked grin. I get up and go outside, the rain still falling heavily.
"Charlette Hanson and I are getting married!" I shout into the rain.
It felt so amazing, to love someone like Charlette.
I go back inside and see Charlette still giggling giddily on the couch where I left her.
"I can't believe you just did that. Christopher's going to want to kill you now," she laughed.
"Even more then before," I joke.

"I have a pretty good idea of how happy you are, cause I'm pretty darn joyious myself," I reply, leaning in for another kiss.
"Ok, we should get some sleep Char. We are going back to school tomorrow. Er....later today," I say, looking at the clock, which showed that it was almost 5 in the morning. I groaned.
"No sleep for us then. We'd have to get up in an hour anyway. I need to go to school, to get my mind off of everything. And besides, it'll just be us at school," I murmur, smirking dangerously.
"Hmmm. Just us huh? That sounds pretty dangerous, Wolf-man," Charlette jokes.
"It could be, if we made it that way, Vampie." I reply, kissing her again. I smile into the kiss, then break away, just barely.
"Lets get ready for school then," I say, twirling Charlette around in the air, and falling backwards onto the couch, the whole thing flipping over.
"Oops," I laugh. Charlette propped herself up on her elbows, looking down at me and the situation.
"Hmm, I think I like this situation," she smirks. Blood rushs to my cheeks.
"I think I do too," I whisper, pulling her down and continuing to kiss her.

"I just love distracting you, my darling," I cooed, kissing her lightly.
"I don't think my teachers would appreciate it though," she murmured between kisses.
"Their loss. I might have to keep you home, all to myself," I growled playfully, nibbling her neck.

I chuckle into the kiss.
"You really shouldn't get the big, bad vamp angry Charlette," I mock after she backs away, loud enough for Christopher to hear, who was now leaning against the doorway, looking bored. He was even picking his nails to add to the effect.
"Shut up, Mutt," he snaps. Oh, I could've sworn I saw the slight curve of his lips. Was that a smile?
"So, this whole Beloved thing kinda sucks for you, huh? I mean, over and over again, I've gotten your girl," I tease. This time he does smile, but it's bitter and sorrowful, I almost feel bad. Almost.
"Well, it just shows that the whole Beloved thing sucks. And it means that I dont have to keep chasing after something that will never be mine," he says, keeping his eyes locked with mine.
"So, going to go find some other girl to harrass?" I ask with a playful smirk.
"Did you really think that Charlette was the only girl I've ever loved?" He asks, raising a perfect eyebrow. I only now notice that it's peirced, with a tiny metal ring that's barely noticeable.
"Er, yes?" Charlette and I answer.
"I've been alive twice as long as Charlette, in this cycle. So of course I've found someone else," he snaps.
"Then why go after Charlette?" I ask.
"Because I thought I'd get lucky and you wouldn't meet up with her." The sad smile egdes back onto his face.
"You should go back to that other girl. She's lucky to have you. You weren't 'lucky' with me because William is mine," Charlette tells Christopher. His gaze falls on her.
"I think I will." He says finally.

With Christopher gone, I realized I had no idea how to help Charlette with her vampiness.
"Hmmm. What did Christopher get you to feed on?" I asked.
"First time, humans. Second time, animals."
"The best thing would be animals. We don't need people coming after you with torches and pitchforks," I hid my smirk at the mental image.
She rolled her eyes and was gone.
"Geez, I just had to deal with Christopher and Claire doing that, and now I have Charlette doing it," I mumbled to myself, but smiled anyway.
I was getting married!

The point of the knife speared my neck as I moved my head to look Charlette straight in the eyes.
Hatred bubbled in the pit of my stomach.
He was supposed to be mine!
Tears pricked mockingly at my eyes.
I made my hands move, to grip Charlette's arms, shoving her off of my stomach.
"You forget, little Charlette, I've lived longer then you," I snarl, flipping my hair snobbishly and pointing my chin up.
"What does that have to do with anything?" Charlette snapped, her knuckled white from gripping the knife so hard.
"I know other ways of killing someone, other then with a knife," I point out.
To prove my point, I disappeared, then reappeared directly in front of her, thrusting my hand through her chest, breaking a few ribs for my fingertips to brush her still-beating heart. Then I drew back slowly, taking my time with taking my hand out of her chest. Charlette dropped the knife, the point digging into the ground.
"You don't want to test me, Charlette-dear," I smiled, then leaned forward and kissed her on the cheek before disappearing again.

Oh geez. Oh geez. Oh crap! What the hell am I supposed to do!
My panicky thoughts raged a war inside my head, then one rational thought edged itself into the war, stopping everything.
Blood. She needed blood, that's what she went out to do, and since Claire was there, she wasn't able to get blood.
I ran to the kitchen and grabbed a kitchen knife. Holding back a yelp of pain, I cut into my wrist, blood overflowing instantly. I went back to Charlette, her eyes widening when she saw what I did to myself. I lowered myself to her level, ignoring all of her spilt blood on the floor.
"Drink," I ordered, shooing away the light-headedness that greeted me.
Charlette took my wrist gently and put her lips to the still bleeding wound.
After a few minutes of her drinking, black blotches started to dance in my vision, but the wound in her chest had also began to heal.
She let go of my wrist, almost disgustedly, after her chest was almost healed.
"There, see? All better," I said, getting to my feet, but almost stumbling over my own feet, as though drunk.
"I took too much. See, look at you," Charlette muttered angrily, catching me before I fell on my face.
"I'll be fine for school," I answered with a grin, kissing her blood-stained lips.
