Ed trotted beside her pile of clothing with Aegis on top. She drew her mind upon the Crest, her heart beating furiously, still unaware of the berserk effect it had upon her. She was still calm from Ashera's blessing but it was not likely to remain long. Her eyes closed, she dove into her knowldge of anatomy and shifted immediately...
...Into a hawk.
The black hawk spread her wings and studied them with approval. She was small compared to any laguz, but hopefully it would do the trick. Ed closed a talon around her sword and the other around her clothes.
She tried to fly.
She had a bit of an issue getting liftoff.
Ed squawked and grunted, flapping her little wings as she attempted liftoff. Her cries eventually reached someone, who gave her a boost with some Wind.----------
Certainly, Vaida's entrance had been a surprise (like usual) but that didn't hinder Soren for a moment. He glanced over the wyvern brigade that had arrived, and after helping Ed into the sky hurried to the nearest one that would fly him out. Better safe than sorry, it was said, and this volcano was more than likely to erupt...
Running from lava and flying molten rock wasn't a pleasant image for him.

Ashera had emerged with Octavio. Taking in the scene before her, she stood, examining the condition everyone was in. She realized that not everyone was outside yet and turned about to face the cavern mouth.
When Nino and Rath had warped into their location, her doubts dissipated.

The rising intensity of the rumbling awoke Neros.
At first, he didn't recognize where he was, and so in a daze he merely stared around. Dull memories of recent occurrences made their way into his mind, but considering their dullness, he did not receive much of an impact from them. He recognized first and foremost that he had to leave.
So, Neros lifted his wings, called upon a current, and tiredly soared away in the night.
