Angie sat on in silence, waiting for Yoshi to answer. In the absence of talking, she felt the familiar buzz that was an incoming text. She pulled her phone out once again, opened the messae, and read it. Angie's mouth nearly fell to the ground. "Kairi...Korsu...they are actually getting lunch together.." She said in total shock. 'Alright, do try and not kill eachother..- love ang' She sent in reply. "Wow, just...wow." Angie had to say something, for the cat and rat to get along well enough to go anywhere alone, well, that was just amazing, more like a miracle.

~Asuka Yamazaki~  Seeing everyone so down and Yoshi leaving, Asuka sighed and slid down to sit. Her spirits were down in the gutter as well. A few words came out of Christoph's mouth and her face brightened up just a bit. Nothing else was really said so she sighed yet again and looked at everyone in the room. I wonder why this day turned out to be so misfortunate. I hope tomorrow is better so that EVERYONE can smile. Even if they usually don't. she thought. Hoping to feel better, she walked out the office.
She was a bit out of it at the moment and passed by anyone who was talking. If they were, Asuka hadn't noticed. No one to talk to at the moment without feeling sad. Without watching where she was going, she kept walking through the house. She continued to walk until she had gotten tired. She rested for a while and got up to go back to her room. Odd that no one was around. Turning her head to look behind her, she then bumped into a large figure. Now who could that be...

"It's weird for one of us to have been gone for so long. We tend to travel in packs. And yeah, I understand the feeling," Yoshi nodded sympathetically. Something about hospitals and clinics. There was the tendency to see them as places of sickness and death instead of healing. "I certainly don't blame you for it."
He swung absently a few times, listening tot he creak of the chains and staring at the sky. Without looking down, he mused, "Well, I hope the cat and the rat do better together than the rooster and the monkey." He laughed nervously, but it was pretty much the opposite of funny. Yoshi was worried. Admittedly, it was good that these pairs were interacting, but not if they just ended up cementing old feuds. Hatred can't be dismissed in a day.
"Baa!" It was meant merely as an expression of his own frustration, but Yoshi's interjection came out more like an annoyed sheep's bleat. He pumped his legs more forcefully ont he swing. "All this gloom and doom. I need to lighten up."

I wonder where everyone is at. Strange to see noone roaming the esate. Something most of happened to someone when I was in Osaka. I wonder around the esate trying to see where everyone is. Maybe I sould text someone to see what's going on. I bring out my phone and find Asu's number She should know what's happening
Asu, what's going on? Did someone get hurt? Noone seems to be outside today. Hika
I start walking slowing to my own house to go see Ayame. Well at least I get to see my sister.

{ - Korsu Nasumi - }  Korsu shook his head and said, "Oh nothing of importance." He eyed her from the corner of his eye as they walked towards the mall. As he thought of the mall, he thought of what there was to eat. When he thought of the food, his stomach growled. Hungry.. he thought so himself with another smirk to himself. Looking down at her he asked, "So. Thought of what you wanted to eat once we get to the mall?"

 x [ K a i r i . T a k a h a s h i ] x Kairi laughed a little and shook her head. "Okay, if that's what you say, Rat," she tossed in jokingly, smiling at him as she almost skipped. Her mind started up again, and she realized what she was doing, and instantly paused in mid step, eyes wide. What was she doing? Almost skipping? Was she feeling alright? There had to be something wrong... Something going on...
The breeze blew by a bit colder and she shivered a little. Had she been so distracted that she hadn't grabbed a jacket from home before she left? Baka! she thought inwardly to herself as she stood there, feeling stiff. Maybe it was the weather... A storm was said to blow in. She couldn't be thinking right, for if she was, she was borderline flirting with Korsu. No... No... She needed to find something to blame on the sudden mood change.
She looked up at him, realizing she had stopped in her steps and shook her head, walking once more, her hands on her arms to keep warm. She only faintly heard him speaking, a soft noise compared to her own voice yelling at her in her head... Baka... Baka...
"Huh? Oh... Uhm, I don't know..." she faded off, turning her eyes from his to the ground and then to the path ahead. "What, uhm... What do you feel like?" she asked him curiously. She side glanced him for a moment and moved her eyes back to the ground before them. Step after step. She just had to think about that. The brain, after all, could only hold one conscious thought at a time... Right? "Something warm..." she hinted, now truly feeling the cool weather.

Arielle laughed and took his hand so she could right herself. The traditional zodiac dictates that certain signs are supposed to be incompatible, even in simple friendship, but this wasn't something she agreed with. Ari was the Tiger, and so she was supposed to dislike both Oslo and the adorable sheepy Yoshi. However, Ari decided not to follow tradition. Why should her life be decided by some ancient text that was hardly relevant to their day to day lives in the present? Ari had to deal with the curse, they all did, and she believed this was enough. Though truthfully the cursed from her family in the past had usually fallen in with the old stereotype. Ari liked most of them immensely, and while she wasn't close to all of them she would never treat them badly for no reason.
Ari laughed internally, well, she wouldn't be a b***h to the others if she could help, sometimes it was just outside of her control. Ari smiled at Oslo and shook her head, a bemused smile brightened her features up noticeably. "So you heard about that then, that's what he gets for thinking he's superman. I always land on my feet but I'm not going to jump off a building or from the tree tops", She said. "I'm guessing you're all settled in, if you're bored we could hit up Angie. She's here too somewhere..we were all supposed to go out and do something, but well..yeah", Ari shrugged. "We could go get something to eat, or if you could think of something more entertaining to do?', She asked.

 The Black Ox He reciprocated a faint smile and his gaze shifted toward the house, just in case Angie might be within sight. "A meal would be nice. Let's go see if we can find her." He began a casual pace back toward the house, and decided to begin a casual conversation to accompany it. "So what have you been up to in the week I've been absent?"

Angie nodded at Yoshi's explanation. "True, it isn't usual for one of us to stray off for long, mainly because we are the only one's in this world that face our little...gift..." She said, struggling to find the perfect word for it. She began to swing back and forth a little, looking at her feet. She remembered when she was little and he legs dangled, not being able to touch the ground. She gave a small laugh. "Yes, we like to be surrounded by those like us because then we aren't alone, even if, like Kairi and Korsu, we don't get along." She laughed at Yoshi then. "Shh..you don't want everyone to know you are a sheep? Do you?" She teased. "I suppose it's better than being a Horse, for when you get too old, they just ship you to a glue factory!" She laughed at her own expense, trying to cheer him up.

~Asuka Yamazaki~ Momentarily losing her balance, she swayed around and got back on her feet. Well that was nice. It was Oslo. Seemed he didn't notice. I guess it's for the better. She ran somewhere else, only to feel her phone vibrating in her pocket. Asuka reached in and took it out, flipping it open. A text message from Hika? Thank god! Now there's someone to cheer me up! she thought and smiled.
She pressed the reply button and typed in Christoph messed around with Noel and now he has gotten injured. No worries. Hide will fix it up. Where are you right now? I need a little pick-me-up. She pressed send and sat down where she was. She hoped that he would answer soon. Asuka then got up and began to wander out the house, looking around for Hikaru.

Ari followed suit and strolled alongside Oslo towards the living quarters. "I think she's at the play ground", She said. Ari went over the events of the last week in her head and shrugged. "Not much has changed, the place where I help teach dance is thinking of giving me my own class..and there's a small town competition..", She said. Ari ran a hand through her long sable brown hair and tucked some errant strands behind her ear. "Sadly there's a mandatory couples dance and that wouldn't end well for anyone. Claws and fur would be a disqualification I should think" Ari explained. She wasn't too depressed by not being able to participate though, all though she could be very competitive nothing came from the contest that she really desired. "Really I've been working more than anything, it seems only the ones in school still have any juicy gossip", Ari said with a grin as they rounded a corner. Now they were going in the direction of the playground where she hoped Angie still was. If not she'd just text her and let her know she'd found Oslo and they wanted to go get some food!
"How about you Oslo, anything interesting going on for you?", She asked.

I walk slowly to where the house where Ayame stays when I'm not here. Wakin up to love starts to play in my pocket. Asu seems to have got my text I start to chuckle, well Monkeyboy still likes to climb I guess I start to write Asu That's not good for him, but I just got back and am going to see Ayame. I'll see you soon. I've been away from people for too long. Hika. I reach the house seeing that little sis is in the window. "Ayaa, don't you want to see your brother?" I walk inside, and not to long before I start getting hoofs.

"Well, it's so familiar. Even the rivalries are determined by the ancient Chinese readings of the stars which have been passed down for thousands of years, or something. For the zodiac members, very little changes since it's such a bother to leave the compound. Stray contact can..." He shrugged helplessly, but nodded his agreement with Angie. "But at least we have each other. I actually quite admire Oslo for what he did--going out into the world on his own." A dreamy look washed over his face until Angie mentioned the glue factory. Then he was a little appalled. Talk about dark humor! " 's not like sheep were kept for milk or anything. Eat, sleep, get shorn, become delicious meat." He laughed nervously. "Or so I've heard, anyway. The life of a farm animal. Sometimes I wish I was something powerful and romantic, like Ari's tiger."
By that time the swing had slowed to a stop and Yoshi absently scuffed a shoe in the dirt. Memories. Sometimes it felt like the zodiac members as a group had a tendency to dwell on the past. Maybe it was just people in general.

Angie shrugged. She wanted to travel, but she was hard pressed to go to college. "You know, if I could, I would travel. Maybe visit my parents and my younger siblings. Remember, they took off right after I graduated, for I supposedly no longer needed them.." She commented idly. She gave a small laugh at his comparison. "True, if they weren't eaten by the wolf..." She teased. Idly swinging, she thought about how some parents couldn't accept the fact that their children were born of the zodiac, it was quite sad, for it made life even more difficult for the child, on the other hand, some were completely accepting. Quite diverse parenting went on when you were a member of the zodiac.

The Black Ox Walking alongside Ari, Oslo noticed that nothing about the grounds or household had changed. As she spoke, he let his eyes wander about, simply searching for something new. It was quite ironic perhaps, to realize that the only new and interesting thing was what news Ari had in her life. Typically, Oslo was not a big fan of small talk, but he knew it was polite and so it had become habit. Thus, he was not usually one to pay much attention other than what was obligatory. The competition, however, had definitely drawn his attention, and his gaze put aside its wandering to lock on Ari.
"Not too much on my end, I must say. After all, it was only a business trip. The first of many, I do imagine. If it's of any interest, I'll let you know what I was doing. Before we go there, however, I'd like to suggest that I or one of the other accursed critters could participate with you. And if you find that proposal at all interesting, I'd like to request that you consider me first and foremost." He gave a sly smile. "After all, it was my idea. Of course, if you did choose me, you would also have to teach me the dance." There was more to be said on the matter: namely that Oslo had never learned to do more than the mundane high school "slow dance." Instead of lowering her opinion of him as a potential partner, though, he remained silent and let her mull over the current batch of information.
