Amelia secured her quiver at her hip as Octavio rallied the group to move deeper into the mountains. She glanced around before following the white-haired boy: Where was Father? He was still there, right? Her tension relaxed when she saw his grey robes, the man speaking to Isadora quietly. Good, he hadn't left. Amelia's shoulders relaxed as she trailed after Steely Dan and Chickenwire. She could see Blossom cheerfully trotting near the red-headed man, holding a Silver Sword in her hands and wearing an Iron Axe strapped to her back.
Everyone has to be okay through this battle... please... don't let us lose anyone... Amelia thought briefly of Renault, then shut her eyes for a brief moment. Please. Let us make it through this.
Annis gave Loch a grateful smile, putting her hands in her lap once their handshake had ended. She studied the people below them, preparing for battle. She removed a dagger from its scabbard and studied the light gleaming off of the sharpened blade before putting it back into place. "I... am not sure. I have a... friend... of sorts, with the Heroes. But... these people are from my city. I can't abandon them..."
She paused. Were they leaving? She neatly hopped off of the branch, her wings flapping hard enough to lift her back up to Loch's eye level. "C'mon. Let's not get left behind." she smirked, turned, and was off without waiting for him, black wings cruising easily through the air.

She was coming with him. She was listening to him. This calmed him, as did the feel of her hand in his own, anchoring him to this place, this time as well. His mind steadied, coming back into focus slowly, and the world cleared around him. He could handle this. There were people who would depend on him, and he could not let them down. He would be strong. And the feel of his tome against his chest, where he'd slid it inside his robes... that was comforting too. All right. This was enough, he would be able to go on without any more trouble.
He bowed softly, kissing Isadora's hand regally, then returning his gaze to her face with a kind and benevolent smile. "Thank you for listening to me, Isadora, your presence is a great help to me at this moment." His speech was clear now, the same voice he had always had. "As for myself..." He paused for a moment, considering how to say this. He didn't seem to remember that he was still holding Isadora's hand, either, lost in his thoughts. "I was dying, previously. The reason I have this body is so that I can be stable, until a more permanent solution may be found." He smiled at Isadora again. "I promise you, I am still the same person inside."

At least Ghis and company hadn't been too late.
They'd arrived as the group began leaving. All save Ghis showed various expressions of confusion. They'd travelled through the forest and seen the dead morphs lying all around. Whether or not you believed in the rumors was irrelevant--those dead soldiers looked creepy and unnatural. FEF had never had such soldiers on their side--in fact, they'd been the ones to FIGHT said soldiers in the past. Morphs, in their opinion, were bad. And FEF, not these Heroes, had defeated them. Maybe the rumors were still true, but if that were the case, why did FEF, and NOT the heroes, kill the morphs? At the very least, the Heroes seemed remiss in their duties...
Meanwhile, Rhys was still sleeping in the back of the wagon, having been picked up and dumped in. He got his staff back--Jin likewise was extremely tired, and felt that he just couldn't continue on. If either of them should, it was Rhys. He might be sleeping now, but when the time came, the Bishop would be the better choice in a fight. Mountains were not easy for Assassins to move about on. Simple as that.

Isadora lightly blushed when the Bishop kissed her hand. It had been ages since she was treated as a lady. After all, she was born from a noble family. Sometimes, she had nearly forgotten about her training as a lady whenever she was doing her duties as a knight.
As she listened to Father Renault, she squeezed her hand a bit into his. So he did before. Isadora thought. Since when did that happen before? She didn't know what was it that he was dying from. But if it was from the battle or the enemies, she would have fought with him and everyone.
It was hard for her to bear the pain when she lost Harken. She never knew what had happened to him after his departure. She admitted that it was not easy for her to get over him, but she had finally made a closure to move on with her life. However, to hear that she would lose another one she knew and care for? She wasn't sure if she was ready to bear another pain again.
"... Yes, you are." Isadora responded as she looked up to Father Renault. "You are still the same person as you are before."
Although she felt somewhat uncomfortable looking into his new eyes color, his presence and his voice was starting to become familiar to her again. It was odd that how she remained calm instead of throwing a fit like she did to Harken when she first met. Maybe it was due to Father Renault's presence as a Bishop of St. Elimine. Or maybe it was because he was still the same person as she remembered.
Tuomas moved closer to Isadora and noosed his nose to her, wondering if she needed to ride on him. Isadora ignored her horse for a moment. "Just promise that you won't die in this battle. We don't want to lose you, especially Amelia."

The group going was already following this person named 'Octavio'. Ephraim stumbled a little and followed the gathering.
Everything ends with this battle..a sudden knot tied in his stomach but he wasn't about to turn back now. Too late for that when he grabbed the spear and followed Octavio.

Roy shook his head. This was one fight he wasn't going to take part in. He had his reasons.
"I'm sorry Sue...but you'll have to fight on without me. I'm staying behind. In my current condition, I'll only hold you guys back." he said.
Roy wasn't about to let those that couldn't fight alone, and those that were staying behind due to injuries or for some other reason would need help treating their wounds. Not to mention his arms were numb from using his magic swords. If he were to fight now, he wouldn't have the strength to use them, let alone hold them.
And...he needed to be here, when his Mother returned.
"Don't die Sue. It's not an order from your General, but a request from your friend."

When Ed heard the call to arms, she'd gone searching for Ganon. She had glimpsed him earlier, but a lot was going on. Ed hurried down to the musician and saw the state he was in. Heaving another great sigh, the girl knelt by Ganon, patting his side.
"And you, you've been running off too... I can't believe you, I'm surprised ye ain't dead yet." She sat back on her heels. "Well, I ain't gonna pressure you. I just hope we have enough fighting strength."
Ed rose to full height with Aegis over her back and her healing items in a pouch at her waist. "I'll be back, well and alive, you hear? And maybe you can teach me how to play an instrument sometime."
She darted after the men marching out, stopping quickly to poke her head into a recovery tent and tell the unconscious Soren she'd be back, and then she was on the road with the others.

Looking over at the young lord, Ziaram walked over there and said, "Be careful back here...it may not have been so hard to bring you back here, yet if something happens to you, then I am sure none of us want to explain that none of us were able to help you out. It is a shame I don't get to see a swordsmen like you out there, yet by the looks of what happened out there, you are a well known one, that is very strong. I can't wait to fight with you on the battlefield, as allies. I am sure any battle with all of you on our side will be a victory." Heading off to join the group that was leaving, for battle.

Leon had long heard the call-to-arms. It had become a second part of his life, being in the Watch and all. Even if he weren't in the army... he imagined he'd still be drawn to the thrills of battle somehow. Conflict, although it sometimes hurt others dearly... its delights drew him ever closer. Of course he didn't enjoy it enough to see those unarmed involved.
The Lieutenant gripped his poleaxe, riding on Anri now, right beside his Captain and fellow watchman, Chickenwire. "We be settlin' this... ev'yone. Ain't no turnin' back..."
Sue looked like she was regretting the fact that her General... her friend Roy couldn't follow her, but she smiled towards him as she put a hand on his shoulder. "Then I will bring Rei back myself... and fight enough for the both of us. I vow this on my Sacaen honor!" she said sincerely, before mounting Andre, and riding towards the line of soldiers whom were ready to fight for all they believed in.

Victoria too had answered the call of arms that seemed to echo through the campsite. She packed what food rations she could, and also her newfound Psychic staff, the handy Fortify, Restore staff, Aura, and Purge. Her forged Divine also rested in her list of packed things if necessary.
"Arashe, you'd better come along if you don't wanna miss anything..." she muttered in the air, before she started following the crowd of warriors. They'd surely need healing... and evil looming over Eyris needed some purging.
She was needed, that was for sure.

It had taken Hatmon little to no time at all before she spotted Ganon. It was partly due to her superior vision, but mostly thanks to the man being quite an easy person to spot. Unlike like the others of FEF he was quite unique; far more unique than any of the others. The guild was made up of mostly humans, laguz, and those with dragon blood. Then there were those that fell in none of the three categories, and Hatmon found herself drawn to them out of curiosity. They intrigued her, and she wanted to learn more about them.
Hatmon was lucky to have found him so fast, but she didn’t have long before the group would be setting out. She quickly made her way over to Ganon and plopped herself down on grass next to him. “Hey, there, sleepy-head. Are you faring well?” Her tail curled around her body as spoke. She really didn’t have long, so she kept her ears alert.

Fa stretched her arms out and saw everyone leaving. "Hmmm Fa better carry sowen up and out to battle." Fa thought as she grabbed a tornado and a Rexcalibur tome. She put them under soren and and transformed and put soren and the tomes on her back. She flew up the trail slowly as to not fly ahead of the group.

Roy looked up at Sue as she placed her hand on his shoulder. "I wish you luck. To everyone." he said softly, a small smile on his face.
He then watched the nomad girl mount her horse and follow the others to the final battle. Some he may never see again, but he wanted all of them to return safely, and victorious.
"Sayonara...Sue-chan." he said quietly.

Ganon smirked at Ed as he sat up, examining the deer he had been given. This would do well enough, yes indeed... "Alright, Ed. I... I honestly can't. But I'll see you soon, alright?"
He was already tearing chunks of raw meat from his meal's ribs with his bare claws when Hatmon approached, and he wagged his tail slowly as he swallowed a huge chunk. "I'm okay. Had a rough day, and I promise you I'll tell you about it later. Right now, I need to eat most of this deer and sleep for about a day." He grinned, wiping his face on his shirt, which he had removed some time ago to bask. His tail wound around Hatmon's back slowly, and then he sharply pulled her into his lap, holding her close for a moment. "You'd better come back," he murmured softly. "You especially..."

Hatmon nodded slowly in understanding. She wasn’t sure how it had happened, but she knew Ganon was injured from last time she had seen him. Even with heightened healing abilities she imagined he wouldn’t be quite healed up just yet. It was relieving to know he wouldn’t do something as stupid as try to rush into battle. Such a thing would only make her worry and might distract her from the conflict. “Make sure you get your rest, ok?”
A gasp nearly escaped her lips as she was suddenly pulled into the man’s lap. She had been taken off guard, causing a light blush to color her cheeks. The embarrassment didn’t last long though, as she collected her senses quickly and her usual expression returned. “Of course,” she said with a matter of fact smile. “You need not worry about me; I would rather if you worried about yourself. I will return for sure.”
