"Oh, you're still alive," commented Eternal as he noticed Niiro. "We'll pursue them on the ground. Leave the knightmares to them."
"Don't strain yourself," said Takane. She was referring to the whole chain of events a moment ago. "You're going to lead or will we?"
"Whatever works," began Eternal as he took off in the direction the Nephilim went, picking off a direction that would not interfere with the knightmares, "is fine with me."
"Please keep up," asked Kannagi, politely. She decided to summarily answer Niiro. "Wrapping up loose ends."
Eternal sighed relieved to know the communicator still connected. "Seal off the block, include every possible exit means. We'll force the engagement."

The two knightmares sped on after the Nephilim. The Sigmund descended and trailed after them, leaving a decent distance between them.

"Sound easy enough," Niiro muttered, following the others. That guy... He seems familiar.... but I don't remember form where. She was still holding the metal staff. And when If I find Asura... I have to get him to tell me what he meant.... I'm pretty sure I'd be dead if Panic had been right there as well.... She sighed, trying to dissect her thoughts while watching for any possible outside danger.

Xiaomao kept her attention on the information the Druid System was displaying. She blinked as she noticed something slightly off: the number of people in their direct proximity. It didn't help that she couldn't make out if it was just one person or two people extra, but the calculations did add up to neither being an ally. She tapped in a quick command to relay the information to the pad Esther had given Eternal. "One or two hostiles near the dispatched," reported Xiaomao.
"We'll continue pursuit," replied Destiny. He smiled, after all getting killed as not apart of the job requirement, rather staying alive was.

Eternal raised a hand, signaling the group to stop. He quickly skimmed he information sent to the pad. What a pain... We can't afford to have that... "Two hostiles behind us. I'm guess one of them is Asura. Don't let appearances deceive."
"Of course not," replied Takane. "Let's take care of those two now."
"We'll take the unidentified," decided Kannagi. "You two, Asura."
"Well then... Let's get going then shall we? Ladies?"
Takane and Kannagi doubled back in the direction where the group came from. Eternal followed after them, making sure to gauge his speed as to keep pace with Niiro at the same time.

"...Something up's with Asura...." Niiro whispered, keeping crouched but still moving fairly fast so she didn't slow them up. "I have no idea what's going on with him....." Niiro shook her head. He's normally so straight forward with me... but now he's being cryptic.... what's going on?! Niiro couldn't seem to figure out what Asura's goal was, but figured she could ask him once they found him.

It seemed like an eternity of sprinting until Rowena was able to reach the immediate vicinity. She looked around, squinting to see if there was someone around. The students would probably be in the shelter, so... there was no danger of running into one of the students. In fact, there didn't seem to be a danger of running into anyone, since there really wasn't... Anyone --
Wait.
Rowena had seen that young lady before, on the Nightingale, one of Commander Eternal's assistant. "You are one of the VSD, correct?" The princess called out to her as she approached the other. "Please tell me the current situation." Well if she was VSD, there was no need to introduce herself.

Shinigami-chan had skidded to a halt when she saw Asura's descent into the hole. ...More company for them... She sighed and relinquished control back to Latune. Well...my part's done for now.
Latune staggered for a moment before regaining her composure. She blinked half quizzingly at the hole before heading off away from it. She heard Rowena call out to her as she was about to take her sixth step. "Eh? She spun to face Rowena, nearly tripping over her own feet in the process. "Y-yes... Erm...." She waved half frantically for emphasis since she couldn't find an appropriate gesture to emphasis seriousness. "T-the Nephilim took the place hostage a-and.... The VSD, EF, and Black Knights moved in...." She paused for a moment to consider the reason for the hole. "S-something went off and that-" She pointed in the direction of the hole, "-appeared... I think it's Nephilim's fault...."

"The VSD, EF, the Black Knights, and Nephilim?!" She repeated incredulously. If the princess was more accustomed to speaking in teenage slang, she would have said that this was insane and 'messed up'. "What is going to happen to the school..." She muttered to herself with a heavy sigh.
And then... Did it mean that Rowena had been asleep in her room all this time? That just wasn't right. The princess was not a heavy sleeper, so there was no doubt in her mind that something very strange was afoot. "I'll have to request for a doctor later," she declared. "But for now... Is Commander Eternal down there? Would there be any way for me to go in there now?" Rowena gripped her sword hard, sincerely hoping that there would be a way down. Jumping was just so... Stupidly risky.

Latune simply nodded to Rowena's response. "Yes... Erm... I think so... If you're fine with riding outside a knightmare...." She fumbled her pockets for a communicator.
Kanita had returned to her knightmare since she didn't see any good reason to take a unnecessary gambit. Plus she did consider the fact that the Commander was down there already and seemed to have some assistance from the EF. She sighed and directed her knightmare into the air and hovered over the edge of the hole.

Asura looked to Leon then back where they were "Leon, I have something important to tell you...but....I'm afraid." he looked down at his feet, he was embarrassed.
"Whats this all of a sudden Asura?" asked Leon confused "I can't believe your scared."
He laughed "Believe it Leon, I want to tell you and Idrail, and Niiro." he chuckled a little "until Niiro gets here, if she gets here, I can't tell you what I want to tell you." he sat down on the ground "so now we wait."
Leon sat down across from him "neither of us are in the condition to fight." he looked at Asura "so I guess we can wait."

Niiro moved forward silently, wrapped in her own thoughts. She had unconsciously picked up her pace, and was now past Eternal. They rounded a corner, Niiro ducking low. She stopped as she spotted Asura and Leon sitting on the ground. She stared for a moment before walking forward a few steps. "Asura.... you better be glad I don't kill you on spot...." She moved forward some more, staring at him with suspicious eyes.

Rowena didn't have time to meander about and worry about how she'd never been on the exterior of a Knightmare while it was in motion, despite her misgivings about doing such a thing. The princess tries to be careful and reduce risk, but she also knew that hesitation was not something she could afford. And anyway, they were military forces, and her position in the Britannian Royal Family all but assured her that she wasn't the only one watching out for herself.
"It's alright." Rowena tucked a few strands of hair behind her ear. She spent a few seconds staring quietly at Latune, noting the... Odd behavior. She had an impression that soldiers of her supposed caliber were more... Professional. Then why did this girl seem so disoriented?

Latune fished out her communicator from it's usual spot, or at least where it was supposed to be normally. She tapped it and spoke hurriedly into it. "Can you send someone to give the Princess a ride down to the site?"

"Hm... I see." Kinata considered her options quickly, just simply going over possible side-effects of each. She sighed and gathered her composure. "Open a line to Kanita, have her pick up the Princess and take her down. Also, have Shishuku retrieve Latune."
Sonia nodded and relayed the orders to their respective recipients.

Latune only nodded and replied with a small "Yes, understood." She tapped the communicator to end the connection. "Please be careful Princess."

Kanita rolled her eyes at the order. It was a good excuse to go down and beat some sense into the traitor, but the Princess.... would prove quite the liability in her opinion. But orders were orders. She made a mental note to have a talk with Kinata later. She brought the knightmare down near the Princess's location and lowered its hands down in a cupped manner.

Shishuku sighed half relieved that Latune was being withdrawn from the direct vicinity of the academy. But she was more so worried that something could go horribly wrong down in the hole... But at least it was one less worry. She landed her knightmare next to the Shrike Mk. II.
---
Latune pointed to the Shrike Mk. II. "Your ride. I'm not accompanying, sorry." She waited for the Princess's reaction and actions.

"I understand." Rowena replied with a curt nod. They couldn't be with her all the time, princess or not. Well, all the more to prove herself worthy... She clambered onto the Knightmare's hands, making sure that her hold on her sword was secure. "I'm ready." She called out to Kanita, blonde hair whipping around her face.

Panic assessed the situation and was looking distantly at the battle. Why was it every single time they fought the same people in bunches? "Dock now." He ordered watching as hundreds of small ships and knightmares uncloaked themselves and latched onto the hulls of the various airships. This however did reveal about twenty cloaking Jericos out in the open. They stayed inside the perimeter that was unsafe for the enemy to fire unless they wanted to shoot down their own ships. That small buffer of time was all it took. Panic continually assessed the move looking for counters. "I want two squads on the guns, two on the hangers. For every non friendly in the air right now!" he shouted. He needed results. The ships shot at the guns and began drilling through the hangers decimating what they could. The battles inside the ships were what needed to be won. The Nightingale was the prime target of the onslaught. The first wave of Rephilim unleashed hadron barrages to destroy the guns and enter the hull. The second wave was less aggressive acting as a barrier line to fight off enemy knightmares with intensity. The first wave split into two groups consisting of 20 knightmares each. It was a large push.

Fear drove his Crossfire at an angle from the school so unless they decided to deface their own campus further, he was relatively safe. His trajectory was heading for the inside perimeter the rest of the cloaked ships were using to get him towards the Brit flagship. He opened communications with Britannia. It was a simple text message that said "I don't wish to fight. Take me prisoner if you must. I just want to talk on behalf of my friends." He awaited the response as he grew ever nearer to the hanger. This ship was not targeted by Panics surprise tactic.

Dread found his way to the base. He was immediately taken to an emergency care in the op center. He was taken to an evacuation center. Along with the rest of the Nephilim.

(Took you long enough... And... This-will-be-very-very-very-very funny....The Nightingale IS the Britannian Flagship present. The Asendant is the EF Air/Flagship present.)
"Point-blank-" announced Sonia before being overridden...
"Fire at will," ordered Kinata. The risk was obvious, but there weren't really any ships of value... other than the Nightingale and the EF air cruiser, it was easy to make the call.
The Nightingale promptly began opening fire upon the attackers, ignoring allied air cruisers as it had priority over the regular military.
"Based on their reduced aggression..." began Aldan.
A message was filtered throughout the Nightingale. "Attention, the enemy is attempting to board the ship. Eliminate all those who oppose the Commander."
The Gunlinks in the hangers were abandoned, and for good reason: If the enemy's trying to take the ship, using knightmares will only get you so far. Instead, they withdrew to more critical areas where using knightmares or explosives weren't an option at all.

The Ascendant began opening fire immediately without any communications between their personnel. Delay against a surprise attack is the sort of fatal mistake the average military makes. spread waves of missiles were launched. And some sort of signal was sent out...
Erina disliked the fact that only the Gunfalken, Mk. Gun, and Mk. Lance were the only ones present. They fought back through alternating between defending the Ascendant to the Ascendant defending them. It was a simple matter of timing movements and attacks in coordination. Simple only because they were familiar with each other.
The Ascendant let loose with both Hadron Cannon Arrays. Both aimed to take advantage of the massed enemy forces. A moment later, the Nightingale did the same.
---(At the same time)
Lance regained consciousness from the racket. He swore, blinked, and then apologized to the little devil.... He ran off to grab his combat gear and take lead of the personnel.
The "Expert" had already evacuated the premise and moved on to the bridge instead.
---(At the same time)
The EF trio of knightmares received the news as it occurred. "Assault 1 and 2, initiate Rampage Ghost," ordered Esther. "I'm going up."
"Seriously?! No Cappie?" asked Xiaomao.
"Correct. Make it quick if possible," replied Esther. "Assist when you're done." She turned the Mk. 00 around and activated the RAMVs at max speed and swiftly retraced the path and ascended upwards, passing the Shrike Mk.II in the process.
"Don't screw up." Destiny accelerated as he activated the RAMVs. "Let's go."
"Yes yes." Xiaomao activated her RAMVs as well and moved in a mid to close range formation with Destiny.
Both picked the ship as the target and opened fire. The Beowulf with all 5 modified Armor-Piercing Bombardment-Type Radiation Wave Surgers. The Sigmund backed it up with its Break Rifle in it's 3rd mode, and let loose with it while Xiaomao yep'd in gee....
---(At the same time)
Eternal was relayed the information. A thought from some time ago came to mind. He spoke out clearly and quickly. "It appears they want a crossfire."
"Hm? Did I hear you right?" mused Takane. She got the seriousness but didn't exactly care to act serious.
"Yes. I'll things down here to that girl... I'll join you two for this," replied Eternal. He tapped his communicator, just in time to hear Fear's message. He opened a different channel to avoid Fear listening in. "Shoot the messenger, and make it count."
---(At the same time)
Latune gaped at the sight, and Shishuku promptly opened the cockpit. "Get in-now." Latune compiled and Shishuku swiftly took off, closing the cockpit simultaneously. "Go directly to the bridge ok? And don't worry us ok?" Latune only nodded in response.
---(At the same time)
Kanita swore but continued on with delievering the Princess down the Hole. She blinked as the Mk 00 passed her up but ignored it calmly. She landed on the base floor and lowered the hands to let the Princess off.
---
Eternal and the two girls headed for the Shrike Mk. II. Kanita sighed as she realized she wouldn't get the chance to smack Asura...
(No, really... And... You're plenty throwing away your forces... The Blitz had withdrawn already So yeah... Sidenote: I'm going to get working on the stuff I've been putting off >_>.)
