((Just a heads up. The city we are headed to is not the Earth Nation. Its a seperate part of it that happens to be a city of Earth. I thought that I had said it when I said their "cousins" with Alcorve.))
"I would probably slow you down anyways seeing as how you can fly over the land to get there." He replied as they continued walking.
The rest of the day passed with out much excitement. The people talked to one another as they listened to the sounds of the forest. It had started to get dark out now as the sun began to set. Finding a small clearing everyone decided to take a break from the walking. The younger ones where tired and hungry, and could not be carried as they slept.
Setting up a small one night camp and everyone going to bed early so they could get an early start in the morning, Varnis kept watch, looking out into the darkness of the forest as if he could see past the darkness.

Off in the distance very faint sounds of fighting could be heard. Metal upon metal, and grunting. From the sound of it, it seemed to be a very small fight. Varnis looked into where the fighting was coming from, he wondered what it was. Due to how far away it was, he only woke the four guards that where with Alcorve, Mia, and Eric. After a few minutes of the fighting there was silence. Everything was silent. Suddenly, as if the silence had called it, a funnel of flame shot up into the sky making it seem as if it where day for an instant blinding anyone that was looking in that direction temparaly before the sounds of metal upon metal started once again.
"What the hell was that?" Was all that Varnis was able to say after recovering from the blindness and his eyes adjusting to the darkness once more.

After the guard who had silenced Sara calmed down, Krious decided to try a little experiment. He created a portal of darkness in the back of Sara's cell, but it lead directly into the middle of the Hellspawn barracks. Would she take it? Could she survive? Krious wanted to see Sara's powers at work. He had little care for the Hellspawn. They were cannon fodder, at best.

(ok everyone here's Sothe mrgreen )
Sothe was sitting in a large tree near the palace. Even though the palace is heavily guarded, Sothe easily found his way around them. He decided to sit there for a while to see if anyone had a job for him. "There sure has been a lot of stuff going on lately, I wonder if this nation will truly get full control of the world." He then took one of his short swords out, and started to twirl it in his hand.
(I'm going to color code my characters, starting on this page. Red is Sothe and blue is Mia. I just feel like doing that.)

Sara had felt the displacement behind her in the air. She had moved to the opposite corner and looked to see a dark sort of gateway. 'He must be testing me, or wishes me to die.' She thought to herself. Sara soon stepped through as she figured it couldn't be worse than her cell.

Azael was getting close now. She could feel it like something breathing down her neck, a feeling that had saved her life before. She took a rest at the nearest inn's hayloft and slept for what seemed like ages.

Mia woke with a fright from the loud noises of metal on metal and the bright light that lit up the sky. She stood up and yelled at one of the guards near by. "What's going on here!" He responded, "I don't know Miss, we heard a small fight going on, and then that huge flame showed up in that sky. My vision is still blurred from it." Mia saw Varnis near by and ran to his side, "Varnis, are you ok, and whats going on!"

"Damn." Erik said flatly. Flames in the sky were bad. Because of his cloak's hood, he was mercifully protected from the flame's light.
The dark portal had led Sara to the courtyard where several Hellspawn were awaiting the order to attack. Before they could, however, a voice spoke out. "Wait." A Hellspawn that was obviously stronger then the rest stepped forward and offered Sara an Elixir. "No sense fighting if you aren't at full strength. That Elixir will restore you to your full potential."
((The Elixir will heal and remove all status conditions. You won't be poisoned or silenced if you drink it, Sara.))

"I'm fine..." Varnis replied to Mia, not looking towards her still looking off into the forest once again. "Sounds like a fight though, off in the distance. But... The fire, not from a fire nation soldier... Its too pure..."
The sounds of metal upon metal had stopped soon followed by many quick foot steps as if some one was running towards the small camp. "Hide quickly!" He whispered harshly as he drew both his daggers and hid behind one of the many trees and listened for the foot steps.
The four guards hid behind trees as well with their sword drawn.

Despite her having no reasons to trust the Hellspawn Sara soon edged forward and grabbed the oddly shaped cup. She sniffed it before gulping it down pleased at the warm tingle that spread through her body. "Very well are you here to escort me away?" She asked innocently already knowing the answer. She put a hand on her shoulder and waited tense as a bow string, ready to snap off an attack or a hasty defense as needed. Her mind had cleared allowing her to think, and she would use all of her martial might to escape this cage.

Azael woke up in the middle of the night cold. She had rolled out of the hay pile she had decided to sleep in. She grumbled about the hay and tried to scrape it out of her hair but got her gear and herself down the ladder. The feeling she had had before was stronger, trusting in it she left and had been walking for about 15 minutes when the flame flared up off to her side. Despite her want to be there quickly she knew it would take her a long while yet. So she set a determined pace and left the path in a straight arrow towards where the flame had been.

Erik had been ready for a battle. His sword was at the ready, along with the secondary sword that he had swiped from the enemy fort. Dual wielding was always better.
The Hellspawn laughed. "Krious said you were a regular riot. No, no escorting away. If you are able to defeat me, I will allow you to pass out of here and escape. If you can't, you die. This I swear upon my honor as a General." The General waited, wanting Sara to make the first move.

Mia hid behind a tree wondering what was going to happen. It just struck Mia that she needed to warn the villages and have them hide. She then flew back to the villagers, where she woke them up, "Everyone hurry up and hide!" She then motion them to trees and bushes near by. After the villagers were some what hidden, she flew up in a tree, that Markis happened to be hiding behind.

Sara's eyes widened and her lips formed an 'O'. She set a finger to her mouth and began to walk at the door she could see behind them, as if she were just trying to leave, but snapped a quick jab at a Hellspawn to her right. She pushed hard to the right following the Hellspawn with another jab swinging.

As everyone got into position, a person dressed in Samurai armor ran past the trees into the camp followed by seven men with their swords drawn. They seemed to be just plain criminals at first glance, but a second look would reveal that they where wearing armor from the four main nations but, the armor was altered slightly. On Top of each symbol was a pentagram. The samurai turned as he got into the middle of the encampment. "s**t". He swore as he saw the seven chasing him out of the woods.
Two of the Guards that where with Alcrove tackled the samurai and knocked him out quickly before turning to see if anyone needed help.
The other two caught one of the men by surprise, and ran their sword right through the bandit, and started to attack another.
Varnis waited for the men to move past the trees before making his move. Catching up to one of the men, he flipped both daggers, and stabbed them into the neck of the bandit instantly killing him.

Azael continued on in the same general direction until she reached a small clearing, warily she crept across and began to jog knowing that she must hurry. Not long after she could see camp fires in front of her and she slowed down and drew her sword, the crashing waves on the hilt seemed to grow moist before the blade formed constantly shifting with a glow that Azael dimmed by will. She continued on at a walk.
((I won't be posting until Teusday, I'm going hunting.))

The Hellspawn spoke one word. "Fool." Then he proceeded to grab Sara and throw her halfway across the makeshift battlefield. "This is no game. Here." The General threw Sara a sword, while drawing his pair of scimitars.
((Can someone explain to me what's happening with the group of good guys? The ABRIDGED version?))

((Right now the "heroes" of the rp are going to the Earthern city for protection of the demons before going to help save Sara. The first day has passed, and it is night time now. Varnis saw a funnel of flame shoot up off in the distance with some noises of fighting. Another person had came their way with 7 people following him into the camp.))
