Victoria almost muttered a curse, but then she stopped herself. You can't say the Goddess's name in vain like that! But still, just as she was getting ready to go, giving it her all, and using her Divine to its full potential...
That cowardly ancient user had to turn tail and run. It proves them all to be spineless fools!
But there WERE still morphs to be taken care of. She raised her tome, ready to fire off shots of the Divine for a huge, grand finale. "Let's finish the lot of these abominations. Then... we'll return to the others. They'll likely need more healing, and I'm in good spirits and even better state of energy!"

Hearing what Victoria said, Isadora couldn't agree more. With these leftovers, they could finish it up.
"Let's finish it!" Isadora cried as she charged to kill the morphs and monsters. Once this was over, she couldn't wait to rest. This paladin had been fighting for a long time.

(Castello is... transformed?)
Rhys let out a long sigh, trying to shake the feeling of exhaustion in his body. This fight had lasted a looooooong time, and who knew how much energy the woman had left...
He looked up into the sky, eyes suddenly focusing on the form of a large black bird, his head looking frantically this way and that... did something happen? Being in Tellius long enough meant he recognized raven laguz when he saw them. His thoughts went to Castello (THE Castello)... maybe that's why the Draco Zombie suddenly vanished. Maybe he and Evelyn were looking for something.
"...I guess we might as well go with the morphs," he said, pulling out Shine once more. Might as well go ahead and use up what was left of the book... that is, if anyone WAS left. Amelia seemed a more-than-capable bodyguard. He could pick off any she or the others missed.
...Like that Shaman hiding away in the trees back there.
ZAP.
...Well, Shine doesn't exactly make a "ZAP" noise, but anyone could get the idea.

Soren stared vacantly at the figure of the vanishing dracolich. His thoughts quickly constricted about this phenomenon, dissecting the details and arranging them into a logical pattern of sense. If the dracolich had been a mere illusion, then it had served as a distraction and kept their efforts occupied on a beast that did little to nothing. If the creature was sincerely a solid, mobile creature with intent to attack, then its disappearance marked the surrender of the summoner, who had more than likely fled.
Whichever of the two it was, Soren determined that this was the best opportunity to flee — even if with caution. He silently regarded the silhouette of a bird laguz sailing high overhead.
"There is no enemy to be fighting against," the mage called, vaulting himself onto the rouncey's back once more. "Rout the remaining troops if you please, but your first priority is to flee with minimal casualties."
With that, he snapped his fingers and swept his hand to the side, knocking down an approaching wave of morphs and monsters with a swathe of wind. Pitch hesitantly began to trot forward as flame devoured the fallen foes.

"Rout the remaining troops if you please, but your first priority is to flee with minimal casualties."
He might be right in that respect. Victoria heard rumors about 'Soren' being an expert tactician, and she wasn't about to doubt them now. The Mage Knight seemed to have a handle on what he was doing rather well.
"We should do as he says." Victoria said to Rhys, Isadora, and the others. "Retreat and pick them off if they follow... if we go now, then we can possibly return without losses."
And without the heartaches of people missing loved ones.
With those thoughts in mind, Victoria was leading the retreat... sending a Divine to any morph that dare step in her path.

"Alright Sowen. I'll fly with you." Fa said as she ran to soren's side and transformed waiting for the orders to go back as Fa blasted a couple solider morphs with her divine breath.

Amelia nodded idly, looking over to Rhys. To escape sounded like a good idea; they all needed a rest. At the very least, the ones who had been fighting for a long time. Amelia had only just gotten here. "I say we try to get back to camp and kill off the morphs that remain along the way. If anything, those at the campsite should be fully rested and be able to defend the camp if any of the morphs follow us."
Amelia slashed down a morph approaching, then turned back to Rhys. "Let's hurry!" She turned back to the others and started to move forward, taking down a morph that seemed to be aiming for Rhys.

Although Isadora didn't like the idea of retreating from the battlefield unless things were too hasty, she couldn't agree with them. She was too exhausted to continue battle forward.
Isadora gave one last slice across the morph's chest before turning Tuomas around and followed the others, slicing those who were in their way or followed.

"Retreat?"
He looked back at the fires raging through the forest. Everywhere he looked, draconic flames were ravaging the landscape, turning everything into a veritable forest fire.
"I don't see how we can now..." he said, looking at the wall of flames. "Not unless we go around."

Amelia turned her eyes back to the forest. The flames were spreading faster than she had thought. "So unless we get Soren to put out those fires... we can't just run through them," she murmured. Amelia moved close to Rhys. The morphs, indeed, seemed to be moving anywhere that the flames had not traveled, making anyone within the range of the fire a much better target for them.

Shinon kept shooting his arrows until he ran out. Unfortunately, he didn't have any more in his spare quiver. "Ah, crap, gotta retreat peoples!!!" Shinon fled back to the campsite.

Fa was thinking real quickly and said, "Alright! Everyone not on a horsey! Get on Fa and Fa will fly you out of here!" As she flew towards Rhys, amelia and whoever else didnt have a steed and blew away some morphs coming from the front making them dissipate.

"Nephew!!"
The morph in front of Nils was sliced apart by wind, thanks to his precious Nephew, Roy.
That soldier that he was facing, though... From a distance, Nils could tell that Roy was having issues (why else would he have switched from dual wielding to just his Sword of Seals?). His hand tightened around the flute in his hand and he had about three seconds to decide what to do: help, or not help?
A call for retreat. No time left to think.
"Nephew!!"
They needed to get out of there.
The bard, flute raised, ran forward to strike at the morph Roy was fighting, to at least stun him. The morph thrust his weapon at Nils and, with a bit of maneuvering, only made a gash close to his neck. The collar of his shirt tore a bit, but it was ignorable; a shirt was replaceable, but a life was not. The flute was jammed into the morph's gut (or what Nils could manage to get to with that chest armor), hard enough to send the morph backwards, followed by a smash to the nose. The morph fell over and Nils turned to his Nephew.
"We need to get out of here." Nils walked over to the Wind Blade, pulling it out from the ground and offering it to Roy, hilt pointed towards the lord. "Let's go. Your mother is waiting for us... The both of us." He offered him a kind smile and began to follow the others that were retreating, the group with Victoria in the lead, glancing back every once in a while to see that his Nephew was following.
(( Gah, I would have mentioned you, FD, but since I don't know how your battle with Misura ends up... Dx
Aaaaaand Alihi follows too but I'm too lazy to write a post for her. 8D -shot- ))

Amelia cast her eyes around the battlefield. The number of morphs attacking them had severely thinned, and there didn't seem to be many, if any archers remaining... "Are you sure, Fa?" she asked, feeling nervous to put so much weight upon the little girl. Even if she was of great size when transformed, she was still a child. "Could you simply blow away the fire and allow us to run that way, or not?" Amelia moved closer to Fa, but didn't get on quite yet. She could be the rear and more easily deflect attacks from the behind, she decided. There, a good excuse to wait.
[[Amelia doesn't wanna hurt Fa. D: *also a little lazy*]]

Pitch clopped up to Fa, Amelia, and Rhys, Soren sitting upright with the reins in his hand. Admittedly, Soren had not given much heed to the flames around them. But he remained untroubled. Quickly processing the situation, he deemed that there were several options with which to respond as he scanned the area.
"No need," he remarked as the figure of Nils and Roy reflected in the garnet of his eyes. "Unless the right item is absent..." Pitch tossed its head and flicked its tail anxiously, itching to flee the battlefield. Soren lifted his head up high. "Nils! We have need of your dragonstone!"
