 Once they were close enough to the palace Sei motioned to some winged guards to block the boy that had followed. "Well we're here Edge.. the Crimson Palace.." the dragon flew on, then circled around to land on the platform. Sei slid off the dragon and paused, "..do you want something to eat? It wouldn't be good if you got weak.."Sora} After seeing the lineup of winged magnus, he decided to turn back. He did find where they went after all, the Crimson Palace.

 Edge's stomach growled slightly, revealing how he felt on the subject of food right now. "Yes, please." He nodded his head and stepped up besides Sei, waiting for her to lead him around her palace.

Sei chuckled "Come on then.." she walked through a passage that brought them to the throne room and looked at one of the attendants, "Prepare a meal, Edge and I are hungry..." the attendant bowed and left. "It shouldn't take too long.."

Arriving in the throne room, the pair of the most powerful men in the Empire, with the exception of the Emperor himself, approached the golden throne and its inhabitant.
Both knelt before Emperor Grimwald Iceheart.
"My lord, a surviving soldier from Bauchos' unit has arrived, bearing grim tidings."
"Oh?"
"Yes, he has stated that the Geo Fortress has indeed been activated and the sword has been taken by the La Vaes of Fyrlandt. The scout who was sent back to report was only able to tell us this much," the Patriarch finished for the general.
Stormcruise cleared his throat as the emperor remained silent. He coughed and asked,
"Shall I mobilize a battalion, milord?"
The Emperor stood up from his throne, his gilded cloak falling to his seat.
"No," he said at last," I think its time we took the upper hand in this war. If those fools have the Shining Force, they will likely try to analyze it instead of the true warrior's method of trusting in the heart of the weapon. Even if they find someone to wield it, it will not cause us enough harm by itself.
Our primary concern pushing the frontlines closer to the Fyrlandtian doorstep. Deephallow is the current battlefield in which we are stalemated. We have trepidations that they will use that accursed city-destroying spell upon our forces and decimate us before we can do our damage.
This factor is eliminated by adding myself to the equation. Those Fyrlandtian scum will reserve themselves from using their destructive spell while I am on the frontlines, hoping that they might capture me and humiliate me before killing me. Those fools honestly have no grip on what Noswald, nor myself, are capable of. "
He turned and gazed out the window as he called back to Stormcruise.
"General, prepare my elite guard and have my armor sent to the city's gate. We depart for the fringe city of Deephallow as soon as we can."
"As you wish, my lord."
The two men disappeared from the room once more, leaving the emperor to his thoughts on the coming conflict.
Grimwald Iceheart could not contain his wide, sinister grin.

((Sorry bout the lack of posting there. Family business came up and I couldn't get on the comp much.))
After awhile of waiting and doing nothing, Korsu sighed and stamped a hoof. He followed loud explosions and eventually came across a room that was nearly destroyed, with Delaine in the middle. He stopped in the doorframe, not wanting to get in her way. He watched as she continued her spells, blinking several times at the growing potency of them.

"Frost Spike." Delaine said, sweat coming down her brow. Spikes of ice rose from the ground and she focused on until they represented miniature obelisks. "Fireball." She aimed at one spike, destroying it with a burst of fire. "Holy." Allouette focused on another, a wave of lightning coming from her body and defeating the next spike as well. Zhirra looked toward Korsu and nodded, acknowledging his presence. The small ferret-like creature then made her way to Delaine, timing the spells so that she wouldn't get hit as she climbed up the girl's shoulder. "Rest now. You know you are at your limit." She said calmly. At this Delaine stopped, panting as she bowed her head. Looking up again she saw the centaur. "Hi, Korsu." She gasped, wiping her forehead with her sleeve.

((Whoot to graduation. xDD Although... It says Level: 2 in the thread and we're in Beginner and this thread is a sticky...))
Edge nodded his head towards Sei. "Thank you, master." He pulled his lips back in a slight smile. Although he was brainwashed, he wasn't completely vague of emotions. Right now, he only had feelings for Sei and would obey her no matter what.

"Ah, that's better.. humans look cuter when they smile." Sei grinned "Come, let us go to the dining hall.." she turned and led the way down a few corridors to a room with a large table that had a variety of fruits and meat, "Take a seat and eat what you like." Sei said as she sat at the end seat.

Edge followed after Sei, proud that she had liked his smile. It made it widen slightly, showing her this as they sat down at the table. He looked across the table, loving his master. He reached out and grabbed some food, eating it slowly and trying not to look like a complete fool.

Sei smiled too, half because she liked how Edge was responding and because it was working better then expected. She also took a few fruits and a piece of meat and ate.

After eating his fill, Edge pushed his plate aside and set his elbow on the table, propping his head up with his hand as he glanced across at Sei. "So, what is it that my master wants?" He said warmly, smiling slightly as he spoke.

"Well..there is a door that my predecessor locked with powerful magic. There might be something useful inside that I could use against those Noswald fools. I think Shining force may be what is needed to open it, everything we've tried has failed." Sei looked at him.

"Those spells are very impressive." Korsu said, turning his torso slightly as he grabbed a water bottle from a side bag. Walking towards her carefully, staying on the non injured ground. Once he got close to her, he offered the water bottle.
