Fun little info I just found out. If you search for "Saving Christianity from Christians" on google, this guild pops up first. I find that comforting and hopeful.

It'd be awesome to go to a con as Zero from MegamanX. It would be even better to team with someone as Megaman, and all the more awesome still if we got some choice Mavericks to go along with it. 3nodding Frost Walrus anyone? ninja

I've never got to go to a convention. crying
There just aren't any around here, and even St. Louis seems to be scarce with them.
My husband and i have talked about moving towards Columbus, OH where his parents are at, and I know it's a bit sad, but part of the attraction of that idea is the fact that there are ALWAYS conventions of every sort there. I guess it just a fact of my geekishness.

In regards to D+D, I made a rogue variant class: Cosmopolitan, as a supporting role. Instead of sneak attack bonus damage every few levels, I threw in a skill emphasis bonus feat (non-stacking) And since this puts more emphasis on skill rather than combat, I also replaced Evasion and Improved Evasion with Cosmo: adding +2 to all charisma based checks. And Improved Cosmo: adding +4 to all charisma based checks. I found the role fit more of my personality and I've had a lot of fun with it.
I still enjoy playing standard classes all the same.

My husband and I are still WAY old school: We are stuck in 2nd edition. LOL
My internet name is actually taken from my first D&D Character. She was an avariel fighter/mage. Anyway, most of my characters are bards, or fighters.
My favorite evil character is a mage though. I can do all kinds of diabolical things with non-combat spells, and even our table is shocked at what I come up with. twisted

Also like vampire masquerade over the new stuff too. damn me and my not liking to be around munchkin players makes it hard to go to tournaments or find good groups rolleyes OMG... ...munchkins... We kept one guy around at our table for allot longer than we should have, but he amused us. sweatdrop It was fun to see him try and get away with his attempts to deify his characters. When V3 came out, it was the beginning of the end of his time with us. He began to actually argue with the DM's at our table about what could and couldn't be done in their own campaigns to the point that his arguing took up most of the time we had for playing. We kept telling him we were still in Second Edition, and we were adhering to it. Then he made his own little splinter group of munchkin players that he gathered from the far corners of Southeast MO. He started DMing his own campaigns with them and they liked it (something he failed to do with our group). Our relationship ended with him when he invited his munchkin table to come and play 2nd edition with us. It was so bad that us older players had to put the munchkins down.... good times...good times. LOL
